Immediately we got back from church, Tenola set to work.
The day was apparently valentine as love filled the air.

"You'll give me the full gist ooo",Tenola chanted as she applied the lipgloss on my lips, she'd taken the pleasure of dressing me up for the date claiming Cliff must go crazy on seeing me, she'd dragged me to my room as soon as she finished her make-up and got dressed in white and red flowered pattern hug shoulder gown which was knee-length we'd both picked it out from Mom's shopping mall yesterday.

Picking out a black espadrille heels, she packed my hair into a snail bun.
"Sure thing, you'll gist me too oo".
She nodded.
"Now we're finished, you look take away",she blew me a kiss as I took a good look at myself in the mirror. Tenola had really done a great job, she needn't learn make-up and I sincerely think she should take up the job as a second.

Her phone beeped and a smile crept on her face, she picked up her satin clutch bag with bow clasp before adjusting her make-up.
"Davies is here",she announced with a smile as she hurried downstairs.

Following her,we got out of the house with Davies leaning on his car.
"Babe,you look as radiant as a thousand sun and I'm certain heads will turn but don't worry,I'll snap their neck", Davies joked as we all laughed.
Tenola was blushing seriously.
"Hi,Priss,you look lovely",he complimented smiling at me before opening the door for Tenola, after going in,he also got into the car, waving at them with a smile,they drove out and in a flash, another car drove in.

The car looked unfamiliar as I contemplated on who it could be.
A man got down from the car with a grin, instantenously,I recognised who it was. The man after my own heart.

My one and only Cliff.

He stood transfixed as his eyes inspected me from the crown of my hair to the sole of my feet.

CLIFF

On sighting my dream girl. She stunned me with her looks. I couldn't help but notice everything about her, God! she was damn beautiful, the way her hair had been packed was really lovely.

Her curves, hell! they were just too pronounced, she was really well endowed as her beauty maddened my soul like wine. And her smile, it was as pretty as a summer breeze. I stared into her gorgeous eyes frozenly.

"Hey",she called waving her palm across my face as she brought me out of my admiration.
"Are we going or you'll keep gaping at me as if I fell from heaven",she chuckled nudging me with her purse.

"Gosh,I'm going crazy",I admitted .
"Well,that's what Tenola wants",she mumbled but I clearly heard it.

"Ini, do you realise you're breathtaking, I almost fainted, why did God create you this beautiful?"
She eyed me before saying,"So you don't like the way I'm beautiful".
"No, you're just an uncontested beauty, I'm lucky to have the most beautiful woman on earth, you're as gorgeous as the hues of heaven, how did a guy like me end up with a princess like you?"

PRISS

Gosh!
I was blushing really hard,thank God for melanin.
My face was really heating and my heart was running a race.

"Enough of all this compliments, you're flattering me",I walked towards the car trying to cover my flushed face.
He walked pass me and opened the door, it wasn't until then that I realised the car, a white sport car, was polished and shining, it was different from his white convertible car or the white sedan, the ones he do come with to MODUSOIL.

"Don't tell me you bought another car because of valentine".
He chortled before confirming,"No, it's one of my cars, a gift from dad on my last birthday and I decided to take it out for the first time so far today is special, so count yourself lucky to be the first person to ride this car with me".

Awwwwwwwwn.

"I'm really honored",I gushed and then took a good look at the car.
"Time to go in",he annonced and I obeyed.
After closing the door, he went around and walked into the driver's seat.

Moving nearer and nearer and nearer to me, I wondered what he wanted to do. There was only a tiny space between us and if he should move further,our lips would clash, his eyes rested on my lips and I tried so hard to catch my breath. My heart could explode any moment from now. The fine scent from his body tingled my nose, it was the same perfume as mine. ZINA IVY.
And then the sound beside me made me look away,it was the seatbelt afterall.
He smirked and moved back.

Finally, I could breeath freely.
"I love your scent, it's ZINA IVY right?",I questioned as he started the engine and then drove out of the compound.
"Yeah, you seem to know a lot about perfumes, you always know them by their scent".
"I have a good nose",I bragged and he smiled before I continued,"But I only have nose for the ZINA kind of perfume,I use only their perfume".

He turned to me and smiled,"Same here,I only use her perfume and it's not their,Zina is the producer,she's a perfumer and her company is ZINA'S PALACE, she makes them from flowers, there's a garden at the back of our house,I'll show it to you".

All the while,I looked at him in shock, I found it unbelievable,so his cousin is the producer, no wonder she grinned widely when I mentioned the name of the perfume the day she hit our car.I felt pleased.

"So Zina,you mean your cousin is the producer?",I asked with a surprised tone.
He nodded.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was surprised he drove us to his house and not to a restaurant or a typical place for dates but I didn't say anything and on getting to his house, I was really amazed.
He took me to the garden, certainly Zina's garden, it was a very beautiful and lovely garden. It had been tended really well.

He had set the place up really well, there was a piano at the other end and a guitar on the flowered rug that was laid on the floor, different kinds of food was placed in front of the rug, fruits were in the basket, red and white ballons were scattered around the garden,there was a waterfall at the end of the garden in which a banner with 'Happy valentine' was inscribed on it was hung around the waterfall,the water was just too beautiful as it poured, a white peacock was also walking around the garden,red and white throw pillows were also scattered on the rug.
Gosh! the sight was crazily beautiful. I stood astounded as I stared at everything.

The sound from the piano made me walk towards it, Cliff was already sitted there and I decided to sit on the other white stool beside him. He started and sang

I listened to the song amidst different grins, it was a beautiful song that I'd heard Tenola sing or play numerous times.
'Dance in the rain',by 2face, a Nigerian artiste.
I wondered where Cliff had gotten the song and when he had learnt it.

Probably,Tenola might have been the one that pushed him to it.
Anyways, it was just too lovely, I loved that moment,my head was really swelling and I was certain I would surely ecplode today, with all the care and sweetness Cliff was showing me, I felt loved and concluded on being in love with him too.
He was making me believe in that thing called love and I know believe it truly exists. My fears and insecurities are now behind me.

"My lady",Cliff shouted bringing me out of my thoughts,lookong at him,he pointed a rose flower at me along with a red balloon.
I tittered before collecting the flower, after taking a satisfying scent from it, I smiled and collected the balloon.
"Thanks so much".

"It's my pleasure,My lady",he placed his hand on his chest and bowed his head before smiling at me.
"So shall we?",he opened his palm and I took it with the other hand that was free from the rose and balloon.
Then, we walked hand in hand to the well-laid rug.

"Do you want to kill me with food?",I asked looking at the food in front of me with wondernment.
"No,no,no",he wagged his finger before continuing as she pointed at the food one after the other,"sandwich,cream cheese, pizza, waffle,fried chicken, dannish pastry and finally mustard spaghetti and ravioli in which spaghetti is your favorite food".

I shook my head and pursed my lips.
"So you want me to eat all these",incredulity showed in my voice.
He rubbed his hands together,"If you wish".

And then I ate mustard spaghetti and ravioli as expected while he ate sandwich and waffle. Later on, we both crushed the fried chicken amidst different talks.
"I bet you're aren't the one that prepared all this delicious foods".
His nose crinkled before he answered,"Well, Zina prepared everything ".

"See, I said it,thank her for me,anyway where is she?".
He nodded before responding,"Out with Frank".
I decided to take a walk to the water fountain, he didn't follow but instead sat down eating cucumber,I hate that fruit with passion.
Admiring the view of the waterfall, I brought out my phone quickly and took a selfie with it ensuring the banner showed with it.

The sound from the guitar caught my attention,turning back to look at Cliff who gave me a lopsided smile, I took his picture and the picture of the whole garden ensuring all the decorations showed in it, Tenola would be earful tonight, Zavrina wouldn't be left out too 'cause I'll send all those pics to her.

I walked back to Cliff who was now singing,'Just the way you are' by Bruno Mars,
wow, I loved that song,the instant Cliff told me download it, I think that was early last year, I'd downloaded it and enjoyed it soo much. I had the whole lyrics on my head.
Sitting down in my position, I joined in the song before ending it with a picture in which both Cliff and I took it respectively.

"Now turn to the camera",Cliff beamed and I eyed him.
"You can't take a picture of me with a watermelon",I warned but the flash from his phone informed me he had taken the picture.
"You're not good oo",I jested throwing a pillow at him. He beamed with smiles before throwing it back at me.

I didn't retaliate but instead chewed on my watermelon hurriedly.
"You're a dead meat today, wait till I finish my watermelon".
He smiled before unlocking his phone, he showed me the pictures and they were nice but the only one that bugged me was the one with watermelon.
As soon as I finished the fruit, he showed me his phone.
Darn!the watermelon pics was his wallpaper.

"I'll kill you today",I shouted as I chased him around the garden throwing the pillow at him in which he threw it back. He was a fast runner and I was unable to catch him till we both settled down on the rug trying to catch our breath.

After drinking passionate tea lemonade to quech our thirst, Cliff brought out his tab.
"So, I downloaded 'Moana'...",I cut him short,"Yeeeeeeee, you're good-hearted,so let's watch it", and we did, I couldn't stop talking about Te kia's wickedness till it ended.

By the time it ended,the sun had disappeared and the moon had taken over, it was a full moon as it shone brightly on us, we were both lying supine on the rug as we looked at the beautiful stars and moon.
Attempting to talk, the sound from the fireworks cut me off guard.

"Wow,wow,wow,this is just too beautiful",I screamed as I admired the fireworks. I brought out my phone quickly and took a picture of it.
All Cliff did was grin.
This was definetely a perfect day, I couldn't be any happier.

We later had cream cheese,pizza and dannish pastry for dinner. I was more than full,Cliff made sure I ate to the fullest hoping my stomach wouldn't burst open.

"Thanks so much for today,I enjoyed myself so much and I appreciate it",I thanked Cliff who was grinning ear to ear.
"You also made my day",he brought my forehead closer and planted a kiss on it.
With a smile,I got down fro m the car, waved him goodbye till the car was out of sight.

As soon as I walked into the house,Tenola's questions welcomed me.
She didn't even give me a breathing space as she walked me to my room and showered me with questions.
Showing her the numerous pictures I took, Tenola was really mesmerized as I gisted her about the day amidst different smiles.

We called Zavrina and we took turns in gisting her as she also gisted us about her day.
We talked till Tenola fell asleep in my room.
That night,I slept peacefully with a dancing smile on my lips.

Priss and Cliff's love is blossoming.
New characters are coming in and a new drama is unfolding.
