Unexpected visitor - Good Omens - Part 1 - Aziraphale x Crowley x Reader

I just binged watched Good Omens so I thought that I would give you a little imagine. Hope you all enjoy. 😇😈

Aziraphale looked up as the little bell above the bookshop door rang out indicating that someone had entered. The shop had been even quieter than normal, and despite all the people that were making their way to-and-fro outside. Not one of them seemed to want to come in. So, the sound of a possible customer put a soft smile on the angel's lips. But it was a smile that would disappear as soon as he saw who was standing in the doorway.

He hadn't seen his visitor in years. Well in truth, it had been centuries. And with he and Crowley sort of helping to stop the end of the world and the battle between the forces of angels and demons. It was a visitor that Aziraphale thought he would ever see again.

Not as though he was really protesting. The creature before him, he was sure was one of Gods greatest creations. A being that was half angel, half demon. With all the strengths of both, but the weaknesses of neither. She was an anathema to many. But to Aziraphale, and many others, on both sides, she was something special. God, herself, seeming to be one of ethereal creatures' biggest fans.

"Aziraphale. How is my favourite angel?" The creature asked, as she caught a glimpse of him. The two embracing fondly despite the angels worries that she had been sent by a higher authority.

"(Y/n). What are you doing here? I thought.......I thought........" Aziraphale began. Hoping that Gabriel and the others hadn't already worked out his and Crowley's little body swap, and sent (Y/n) down to retrieve him so that this time they could really destroy him.

"You seem a little tense, Aziraphale. Don't worry, I haven't been sent for you. I just thought that as I was coming down here, I would make a quick trip to jolly old London and come and see you. To be honest, after your little stunt with the fire, upstairs have decided to leave you alone for a little while. I am just here for......now what do the human's call it? Oh yes. I am just here for a little holiday. Come to see how the world is, after nearly being destroyed. And I thought that I might actually get to meet this demon friend of yours. Crowley, isn't it? I hear that he created quite a stir with his bath in holy water. Its amazing how you could withstand fire, and the demon, holy water. I don't think that dear old Gabriel will ever get over it." (Y/n) chuckled as she picked up one of the books. Aziraphale not failing to notice the wicked little glint of knowledge in his old friends' eyes.

"You know. I did always love books. There is something quite interesting about reading the thoughts, dreams, and memories of humans. I have always believed that there is a touch of the divine in the written word. How mere squiggles on a page can instil happiness, fear, pleasure, and hope in so many others. How they can help mortals see that there are a million possibilities. And that it is only their bodies that are bound to the earth. The reach of their hearts and souls only limited by their own imaginations." (Y/n) hummed happily, as her long fingers flicked delicately through the slightly yellowing pages of the book in her hand.

Aziraphale couldn't help but smile. Despite the fact that (Y/n) hadn't really spent too much time on earth. She had always seemed to have been well acquainted with human customs. Unlike many other angels. And indeed, seemed to care about what happened to mortals. It was one of the things that Aziraphale had always liked about the Nephalem.

"Tea." Aziraphale suddenly said, regaining his manners.

"I would love some tea. I actually find Earl Grey to be quite a pleasant brew." (Y/n) replied, as the angel locked the shop doors, and scurried off into the back to make himself and his visitor a nice fresh pot.

                                                            >>-------------------------------<<

"When you said, a holiday. What did you mean, (Y/n)?" Aziraphale asked as he and (Y/n) settled down into two old leather armchairs next to the fire.

"Exactly what I said. After its near destruction, I decided that it was high time to reacquaint myself with the old place. See a few sights that I haven't seen in a long time. That, and Gabriel has become even more annoying than usual, since he was denied his war. And as I said, I am quite intrigued to meet this Crowley of yours. He's most certainly an unusual demon from what I have heard. If I didn't know better, I would say that there was a little Nephalem in the pair of you. No one quite knowing for which side you fight. Your own side, never completely trusting you." (Y/n) replied. Hiding a smile behind the lip of her teacup as the angel began to protest that he of course was on the side of the angels.

"Please Aziraphale. I am no fool. I well aware that over the millennia, that you and your friend have helped one another here and there. That Crowley has accused you of having a little demon in you. And you have accused Crowley of having a little angel in him. But don't worry. I have no intention of telling anyone about that, or the little stunts you pulled. In fact, I find it quite amusing." (Y/n) reassured. Aziraphale finding himself at ease for the first time since the Naphalem had set foot in his shop.

"Well then, (Y/n). How would you like me to show you around? I believe that London has changed a great deal since you were last here. There are so many more wonderful things to see. Maybe we can go see a play. I can take you for dinner." Aziraphale chirped happily. Suddenly liking the idea of having (Y/n) around for a while.

"I would love that. The last time I was here, the plague was in town, so one couldn't really get out much. And I would so love to try food. I have been reliably informed that you have quite a taste for it. I seem to recall that Gabriel once mentioned your love of........what was it? Sushi. I am quite intrigued. I would also enjoy seeing a classical music performance. I know that all the best composers are in hell. But I have never let that take away from the genius of their work." (Y/n) replied. Aziraphale feeling positively giddy about being able to share some of his favourite things with another being like him. It had been such a long time since he had been able to enjoy the simple pleasures in life with someone else. Especially given that his and Crowley's tastes in many things, were completely different.

"We could start this evening if you like. I know............." Aziraphale began. An unexpected knock at the shop door, causing the angel to stop mid-sentence.

"We're closed." The angel sang out to whoever was banging, as he leaned forward and refilled (Y/n)'s cup with tea.

"Aziraphale, it's me. Open the door. What are you doing in there?" A voice called out. Aziraphale jumping to his feet as he heard the familiar voice of Crowley.

Part of him wanted to hide (Y/n) so that he could keep her to himself. He had always enjoyed the company of the Nephalem, and in truth he really didn't want to share her with Crowley. But he knew that it would be wrong. That (Y/n) was interested in meeting the demon. So, who was he to stop her?

"If you will excuse me a moment. That's Crowley." Aziraphale told (Y/n). The angel making his way back through his shop so that he could let the demon in.

"What are you doing, closing at this time? Anyone would think that you were up to no good." Crowley began, as he pushed his way past the angel and into the bookshop. The demon stopping dead in his tracks as he saw the face of the Nephalem. A wicked smirk spreading across his lips as he looked between Aziraphale and his beautiful guest.

"Well. Looks like you were up to no good. I didn't know that you had it in you, you old dog." Crowley chuckled. Nudging the blushing angel before turning his attention to the beautiful creature in front of him.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Crowley. And whom might you be?" Crowley cooed, as he took (Y/n)'s hand and kissed her knuckles.

"Crowley. This is a friend of mine. This is (Y/n)." Aziraphale announced proudly, as he took (Y/n)'s other hand. The demon mussing for a moment, as he tried to remember where he had heard the beautiful creatures name before.

"(Y/n)? As in the Nephalem, (Y/n)?" Crowley asked. More intrigued than before, as the woman nodded happily.

"Well, well. Aziraphale didn't tell me that he was acquainted with the Nephalem. And such a beauteous one at that. What are you doing here in London?" Crowley enquired, as he took a seat on the arm of (Y/n)'s chair. Aziraphale not too sure that he liked Crowley being quite that close to her.

"Oh, you know. I felt like a change. Heaven can get a little dull at this time of the year. And I fancied something a little livelier. In fact, Aziraphale was just about to offer to show me the town." (Y/n) told him. Crowley looking over the top of his dark glasses. His serpentine eyes taking in every aspect of the beautiful female.

"Well. It would appear that I'm just in time. Who better than a demon to show you the liveliest places in London? I would be delighted to also be your guide, (Y/n)." Crowley replied. Aziraphale pulling (Y/n)'s hand away from his old friends.

"But I was about to offer to take (Y/n) to see the Magic Flute. You know you hate opera. You prefer that Velvet Underground thing. And (Y/n) has come to see me." The angel protested. Hoping that (Y/n) would say that she would prefer to spend the evening with him.

"Oh, no. I think that opera is so underrated. I would just love to accompany you." Crowley insisted, as he rose from the chair arm, and took (Y/n)'s hand back from Aziraphale.

"Please boys. Don't fight over me. I think that having two such knowledgeable guides, would be a wonderful thing. And once we have finished with the culture, maybe you could show a girl where to get a good drink in this town." (Y/n) interjected. As she got to her feet and took the angel and demon's arms in hers.

"Now, lets paint this town red. Just like the good old days." (Y/n) chuckled as she dragged them both to the door, and out onto the unsuspecting streets of London.
