Two of a kind - Part 6 - Wade Wilson/Deadpool x Reader
A knock alerted Wade to a presence at his door. The mercenary hadn't slept. Instead, he had just laid with (Y/n), enjoying every moment of having her and his unicorn, in his arms. She hadn't told him why she needed to be with him. Hadn't told him what had happened. But as another knock rang out, (Y/n) snuggling a little closer to his side as the noise disturbed her in her sleep. Wade didn't care.
"Hey! Deadhead. Get your ass to the door." The familiar growl of Logan's voice called out. Wade reluctantly wriggling out from under (Y/n)'s arm. The merc with a mouth ready to rub the fact that (Y/n) was curled up happily in his bed, in the feral mutant's face.
"Good morning, darling. I can explain. It's not what it looks like. We're just good friends." Wade declared as quietly as he could, as he threw open his room door. Logan looking between Wade and (Y/n). The female mutant gripping the unicorn a little tighter as she moved in her sleep.
"Your night-time antics are no concern of mine, Wilson. But I am more than sure that it definitely ain't what ya would like to be. At this moment though we have more important issues at hand. Ya need ta come with me. The professor wants to see both of us." Logan told him. Trying to ignore the fact that the mercenary was only wearing his mask, a crop top and booty shorts. The feral really not wanting to know what was going on.
"Put some damn clothes on will ya. If I have ta keep looking at you, I might go blind." Logan grumbled, rolling his eyes as Wade reached for a dressing gown and closed the door to his room behind him. Skipping behind the feral as the two made their way to Charles' office.
"So, why does baldy want to see us?" Wade asked as they finally arrived at the office. Logan raising his hand to knock on the door.
"I don't know for sure, but I do know it's about (Y/n). Maybe it'll help explain how she could do what she did last night." Logan huffed. Knowing that he should really have had a strong coffee before he had to deal with Wade so early in the morning.
"Ah, good morning, Logan, Wade. Please come in." Charles greeted, as the two mutants entered the room. The professor turning back to talk to Scott and Storm briefly, before the two left the room.
"What's this about, Professor?" Logan enquired, shaking his head as Wade perched himself on the corner of the telepaths desk. Showing far more from underneath the dressing gown, than Logan ever wanted to see.
"It's about (Y/n). We have finally managed to find out why someone would have wanted her to undergo the mutation at the Mutant Workshop." Charles began as Logan took a seat. Shoving Wade onto the floor, as the mercenary tried to sit on his lap. Charles doing his best not to smile as he pushed the file across the desk and into the feral's large hands.
"We had been wondering why it had been so difficult to find out anything about (Y/n). Why the workshop had gone above and beyond to try and remove the majority of the memories of her past life. And after some work from Storm, Scott and a few old friends. We have finally managed to find out why." Charles continued as Logan opened the file. Wade popping his head up and placing it on the big feral's shoulder. Logan's threatening growl doing nothing to deter the merc.
"It would appear that our dear (Y/n) was a highly classified agent for the CIA. Originally she was a Paramilitary Operations Officer with the organisation. Then along with some others, she began to undertake Black Ops. From what we have been able to find out, (Y/n) has been in some of the deadliest places in the world and undertaken some of the most dangerous operations that the CIA won't admit to, over the last few years. Then all of a sudden, she was diagnosed with an inoperable cancer. Now, there seems to have been some conjecture that she was somehow "given" this particular disease. As at her medical, which was only a few days before her diagnosis, she had been found to be perfectly healthy and ready for her next mission. We suspect that the person that bought her from the workshop, may have been responsible for the cancer that affected her. Doing all they could to make sure that she was desperate enough to listen about a possible cure. The CIA have actually been looking for her themselves. They like to keep an eye on their operatives. Especially highly skilled ones like (Y/n). But as soon as she went to the facility, they lost her." Charles explained, as both Logan and Wade read the file. Neither of them sure how Charles, Storm, and Scott had managed to get their hands on the obviously still highly classified document.
"Are they still looking for her?" Logan asked, as he pushed Wade away. Wade stealing the file from the feral's hands as he went. Unable to believe that (Y/n) was more of a bad girl than he had originally thought.
"They are, yes. But from what you told me about last nights incident, it is obvious that the ones we should be concerned about, are her buyer and any others that he might send to retrieve her." Charles replied, both he and Logan turning their attention to the door, as Wade threw it open and bolted out of the office.
"I'll kill him. I swear I will find someway of putting him outta my misery." Logan growled as he got to his feet, ready to chase the mercenary down.
"Leave him, Logan. He's off to tell (Y/n). He may not seem like the most suitable candidate to give her the news on who she is. But believe it or not, he's the one she needs at the moment." Charles said, as he rolled around his desk and placed his hand on Logan's arm. Stopping the feral in his tracks.
>>---------------------------------<<
"HONEY BUNNY!" Wade exclaimed as he burst back into the bedroom. (Y/n) groaning and pulling the covers over her head as she felt him jump onto the bed.
"Go away Wilson. I'm warning you." (Y/n) hissed from under the blanket. Gripping to it tightly, as Wade tried to pull it from her head.
"But (Y/n).........."
"I swear Wade Wilson. If you come out with one more smutty innuendo about your sausage and my bun. I am gonna get a stick of dynamite, shove it up ya ass, and light the fuse. I'd quite enjoy seeing how long it would take you to regenerate from that. Maybe I should invite Logan. I'm sure that he would like to see that too." (Y/n) huffed, as Wade finally managed to loosen the bedding from her grasp.
"Believe it or not, for once playing hide the sausage is not what I had in mind. Although if.....OW!" Wade moaned, as (Y/n) sat bolt upright and punched him.
"(Y/n). I'm just trying to tell you that Mr. Klean, Weather girl, and Jordy LeForge found out who you are." Wade told her. Holding out the file as he tried to straighten his jaw. (Y/n) jumping out of the bed and plucking the document from Wade's hand, as she took a seat next to him.
