Twin? - Part 3 - Thor x Loki x Reader

Thor made his way to his brother's cell. It was time for Loki to return to Midgard. Time for him to pay his dues under the watchful eyes of the god and the other Avengers. Thor had no intention of telling his brother about (Y/n) just yet. The God of Thunder wanting to keep her all to himself until the very last moment. He knew that it was selfish, that Loki may be angry at him for not coming back to Asgard and informing him of his twin right away. That Loki had more right than anyone to know of her existence. But Thor had a feeling that once the twins were back together, then he would find himself on the outside. (Y/n) more concerned with her brother, than she would be with him.

Since the day (Y/n) had shown him her life, Thor had become more and more infatuated by the Jotun queen. But even though he had prayed to Odin for another opportunity to be completely alone with the Alfheim beauty. Every time he though his prayers had been answered, one of the other members of the team would suddenly appear and foil the gods plans. The only one still keeping his distance from Loki's twin, being the archer.

Thor had thought about somehow delaying his brothers return to Midgard. All manner of schemes filling his mind as he whiled away the long, lonely nights. Yet he knew that if (Y/n) ever found out that he had kept her from her brother longer than he had to, then she would never forgive him.

"Ah, brother. Is it that time already? My, how time really does fly when one is having such fun." Loki scoffed, as he lay on his simple bed. Not even bothering to look at Thor.

"Yes brother. It is time for you to return with me to Midgard." Thor huffed bitterly. Loki suddenly sitting bolt upright, wondering what had caused Thor to seemingly be in such a bad tempered mood.

"You don't appear to be in your usual chipper frame of mind, Thor. Are you not looking forward to dragging me back to that rock that you love so much? I thought that you would be enjoying the idea of your little friends being able to torture me." Loki replied. The God of Mischief more and more intrigued, as Thor's temper seemed to sour further.

Thor was in no mood for his brother's comments and snide opinions. As much as he cared for Loki. As much as he wanted him to be back to the way he was. Thor feared losing what he already had with (Y/n). Admittedly, what little time they had been able to spend together, all Thor had seemed to do was regale (Y/n) with stories of his childhood with Loki. All the things they had done as boys. About how Loki had been before jealousy had changed him. And every time, (Y/n) would sit by his side, take his hand and smile. The beautiful ice giantess as seemingly lost in his eyes, as he was in hers. And that was something that he wouldn't, couldn't let go.

"Just get ready, Loki." Thor huffed again. Loki looking around his small cell, wondering quite what he was supposed to get ready.

"I think that you will find that I am already as ready as I will ever be." Loki replied. Placing his book under his arm, as he slowly rose to his feet.

"Tell me, brother. Do you have an equally wonderful cell waiting for me on Midgard? I mean, I wouldn't want to forego all this luxury, for some dingy little hole." Loki mocked, as the guards proceeded to shackle and manacle him. The God of Mischief glaring at the soldiers, as they hurriedly placed the power limiter around his neck.

"You will get what you deserve, Loki." Thor growled in reply. His brother's harsh retort, further intriguing the frost giant.

Even after everything that he had done, Thor had never spoken to Loki in such a fashion. Usually, the God of Thunder would irritate him with his chipper humour. The god obviously attempting to coerce the old Loki back into the light with stories of their youth. Hoping that the boy he had grown up with, could escape the shadow of what he had become and done. Yet this time, there was none of that. The God of Thunder was silent and cold. The God of Mischief determining, that despite being surrounded by Asgardian guards, he wasn't going to move until he found out what was going on.

"I must admit, that despite the fact that you are an oaf, and I am usually above such things, I find myself curious about your demeanour, brother. This is not like you. Has something happened on your precious Midgard? Something happened to one of your little friends." Loki enquired jokingly. Thor sighing as he listened to his brother's mocking tone.

Thor knew that he had to tell Loki before they returned to Midgard. That it was only right that he should be prepared, before he saw the woman that waited patiently for the God of Thunder's return. Yet where was he to begin? He was sure that his brother would never believe that a twin sister even existed, never mind that she had been raised in Alfheim with Freyr. And that she had simply appeared in S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, and declared that she was the sister of the god that had tried to destroy New York and make all of Midgard kneel before him. But what else could Thor do? (Y/n) wanted to meet him. She wanted to know Loki. Be able be his sister like she always should have been. So, the only thing that Thor could do, was tell his brother the truth.

"Brother." Thor began with another heavy sigh. Loki stubbornly still refusing to move as he waited for a suitable explanation.

"I.........I have something to tell you. I know that you may not believe me. But every word I am about to tell you is the truth. You........you have a sister, Loki. A twin sister that found her way to S.H.I.E.L.D. She is currently with brother Stark and the others. She wants to meet you Loki. She wants to show you what she says if the truth. She showed me visions of our father take her to Alfheim, before he brought you to Asgard. She showed me her life. All the places that she has been and things that she has done. She is your sister, Loki. There is no denying it." Thor told him. Loki not sure whether to be angered, amused, shocked or confused by his brother's words.

A sister? How could he have a sister? And a twin no less. Part of him wanted to believe that this was all some kind of trick that his brother and the rest of the Avengers had come up with, to somehow ensure that he behaved while on Midgard. Yet another part of him knew that it was true. He had always put the emptiness in his heart, down to way that Odin had treated he and Thor differently. How he had never felt good enough. But now, the notion of a twin made nothing but sense. It explained so many things. Things that had always felt like they were missing. And now, Loki couldn't wait to be taken back to Midgard.

"Is my sister a prisoner? Has she been taken good care of? She is a queen. If Stark or any of others............." Loki growled, as he turned and made his way out of the cells. The God of Mischief not able to make his way to the Bifrost quick enough. His pace quite quick for one in chains.

"She is no prisoner, Loki. She is a guest at brother Stark's tower. (Y/n) has been under my protection.........."

"(Y/n)? Her name is (Y/n)?" Loki interrupted, as he suddenly stopped. The frost giant feeling his heart race as he heard his twin's name.

"Yes, Loki. Her name is (Y/n). And no more beautiful creature will you find in the nine realms. You will love her, just like we all do. Now, lets get you to her." Thor nodded, as he placed his hand on his brother's shoulder. The two making their way to Heimdall. The God of Thunder hoping that he hadn't lost his chance to tell (Y/n) how he felt. And that Loki would understand that he was in love with his sister.

                                                       >>---------------------------------<<

(Y/n) jumped to her feet, as the room that she and the Avengers were waiting in was filled with light. The Alfheim princess knowing that it could mean only one thing. That Thor had returned with her brother. And finally, she would be reunited with the last part of the puzzle.

"Okay guys, Thor's back. Let's do this." Steve said, as he got to his feet. The captain and the others wanting to make sure that nothing happened between Loki leaving the roof of the building and getting to his cell. All of them on guard just in case this little family reunion didn't go as planned. Though not sure if they could take on Loki and his twin, together. Especially as they had seen some of the things that (Y/n) was capable of.

"Are you sure that this is ok?" Bruce asked, as he placed the power limiter around (Y/n)'s neck.

"I'm sure, Bruce. As long as I get to see my brother. I don't care what I have to do." (Y/n) reassured, as she moved to follow behind the team. The Jotun queen wishing that she could race ahead and be the first to see the God of Mischief. That she could throw her arms around him and tell him how much she had missed him. Yet she knew that she had to abide by the rules that the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D had set out. That nothing would come between her and this moment. So, childish enthusiasm would have to wait for another time.

                                                               >>-----------------------------<<

"Where is she?" Loki asked urgently, as he looked around the sea of armed S.H.I.E.L.D agents, that had been waiting for the god's return.

Thor had explained as best he could during their short trip to Heimdall. But unfortunately, Thor had only left Loki with more questions than answers. The God of Mischief knowing that there was more to the relationship between his brother and his twin than Thor was telling him. But that would wait for another time. For now, he just wanted to see (Y/n).

"I'm here!" Came a voice. A voice more beautiful than any Loki had ever heard. The God of Mischief's heart pounding violently as an exquisite creature pushed her way through the Avengers that had just appeared on the roof. His sister moving slowly towards the two gods. Her next words, sweeter to Loki's ears than any others that he had ever heard.

"Hello, brother."
