Heart of the Gods- Thor x Loki x Reader
Warnings: None
Just nice and fluffy, all lovey dovey, and it's Thor and Loki because I can 😊
"I HAVE FOUND HER!" Thor bellowed as he stampeded into the common room scaring the assembled Avengers, Fury walking in behind him with an uncharacteristic smirk on his face.
"Who her, Beach Boy?" Tony asked as he cleaned the whisky up that he had just spat out thanks to Thor.
Thor's smile was huge. "Our only real weapon against Loki."
The team sat bolt upright; Loki was still at Stark Tower as part of his punishment for what had happened in New York; even though he had improved a little, he was still sullen, moody, cold and downright difficult to deal with. He took great delight in making every one of the Avengers lives as difficult as possible.
"So, who is this weapon?" Steve was more interested than most as Loki seemed to take a special interest in upsetting him in particular.
Thor closed his eyes and sighed happily. "Her name is (Y/n), and she is our wife." The team looked at each other wide eyed.
"You and Loki have the same wife?" Wanda's eyebrows furrowed as she looked strangely at the god of thunder.
Thor grinned. "I know it is unusual on Midgard for someone to have two spouses and it is even a rarity on Asgard, but our relationship is truly unique. You see (Y/n) like Loki was taken by my father from her home world when she was an infant and brought to Asgard where she was raised with us."
"So, is she like you or reindeer games?" Tony asked intrigued by the thought of a single woman that could handle both of the very different gods.
"She's like neither of us, but like both of us! (Y/n), is the goddess of the magical arts and sexual love, but she is also a fire demon. She was born in the realm of Muspelheim, the land of fire, she is more powerful than Loki and controls the element of fire, she can also take my lightening and bend it to her will, she is truly magnificent."
The Avenger's had never seen Thor so happy; he was like a child that had received everything that he ever wanted for Christmas.
"So, what do you mean you found her? Was she lost?" Clint asked, a little unsure if he wanted a goddess that was more powerful than Loki around, especially as he still hadn't forgiven Loki for the whole mind control incident.
"When Odin found out about our relationship he banished (Y/n). He said that she had seduced both of us and would use us against him. Nothing could be further from the truth though, Loki and I loved her from the moment we laid eyes on her, even as an infant she was gifted. Odin and (Y/n) never saw eye to eye that's why it was so easy for him to banish her. She was headstrong, intelligent, had a quick temper and she would question everything Odin said; their arguments would make the nine realms shake. Unlike Loki, (Y/n) always knew that she was not of Asgard. The day Odin banished her was the day he destroyed three lives. My mother never forgave him for banishing the child she saw as her daughter and the love of her son's lives. I lost all care and threw myself into every battle hoping that in one of them I would lose my life. And Loki, well...... that's when all this trouble started. Without her there he truly lost himself, she was the one real thing in his life, and he grew to hate everyone and everything especially Odin and myself." Thor shook his head and thought about how much his brother had changed.
"So why has it taken you so long to find her, and where is she?" Natasha asked as she sat next to Thor placing her hand on his shoulder.
"We all believed that father had had her killed, we tried everything we could to find her but came up with nothing. It wasn't until brother Fury here came to my assistance when I told him about her. We have found her on Helheim, it is the home of the dishonourable dead, it is the worst place that Odin could possibly have sent her. It is where those that are not worthy of Valhalla or Folkvangr are sent, it is a grim cold world where there is no joy or happiness. I fear what it may have done to her being there for so long, I just hope that she has been strong enough to remain the woman we love." Thor sank his face into his hands, while Natasha patted his back reassuringly.
Fury stepped forward. "Thor is to go to Helheim and retrieve (Y/n), then he's going to bring her here. If she is truly the only one that can possibly control Loki, then it's better to have her here and on our side. And from what Thor says about her powers she could prove to be a great asset."
"Oh, great just what we need around here another god, isn't two enough? My poor tower won't survive a third. Beach boy and reindeer games cause more destruction than the Hulk does." Tony grumbled as he sat crossed armed on his chair.
Thor stood bolt upright, obviously annoyed at Tony's remark. "Firstly, brother Stark, (Y/n) she is a goddess, and more importantly she is our wife, I expect you to treat her with the respect she deserves. She is the most important thing in my life and when I get her back, I will never let her go again." Thor stormed out of the common room as all eyes turned to stare at Tony.
"What? Ok, I'll be nice."

Helheim was everything that Thor had ever imagined; cold, misty and grey. The cold permeated his bones, and even the great god felt a sense of fear. He slowly made his way to the fence that surrounded Hel's kingdom. Nagrindr' the corpse fence where the bodies stood side by side grim and grey, their eyes black and empty. He pushed on knowing that he would find the queen in her great hall. As he passed thorough, the spirits of the dishonourable stared at him, their mouths open as if screaming, their eyes hollow.
The great hall was vast and shrouded by a deep grey mist, Thor pushed on the giant doors and a gust of freezing cold air forced him back. He steeled himself and strode forward; there sat on her throne, the sotte bed, was a hideous old crone.
"To what do I owe the privilege of having the great god of thunder visit my humble kingdom?" The crones voice was eerily calm, her eyes cold.
"State your business son of Odin!" Thor drew closer to the creature in front of him.
"I have come for what is rightfully ours, I have come to claim our wife. She does not belong here; she is neither dead nor dishonoured. Whatever my father offered you to keep her here I will do better." Thor bowed his head.
The crone cackled. "So finally, someone has come to claim the bane of my existence. That creature is the only light in my dark kingdom; her fire calls my spirits to her, she gives them hope, a hope I can't allow. Take the creature, I will be glad to be rid of her. You can find her in a cave outside the walls of my city, you cannot miss it. Now leave me to my sorrow son of Odin."
Thor bowed and ran from the hall, passing the lost souls and the corpse fence. He stopped, surveying the surrounding valley trying to see through the all invasive fog. Then he saw it, a tiny glow of light in the distance, it flickered wildly in the cold wind that whipped through the deep depression. He began to run, faster than he had ever run before; he could feel her now, with every step he could feel her. The light grew larger as he neared the mouth of a cave, it was a brilliant fire, a beacon in the dark. Thor felt his heart pounding in his chest, the same way it had the day his father had brought her to Asgard. He knew then as he knew now that he loved her and would always love her.
He crept cautiously through the mouth of the cave fearing the worst but hoping for the best. Making his way further in he started to feel a warmth, slight at first but gently building to something reminiscent of a summer's day on Asgard. The cave grew brighter, bright enough that the dull crystals imbedded in the walls glowed like stars in the night sky. Then voices, voices filled with hope and happiness; Thor smiled slightly, only his beloved (Y/n), could have that effect in such a hellish place. He rounded a gentle corner and saw not the empty souls that he had seen previously but bright-eyed faces that told of peace and optimism; and there at the very centre of the crowd he saw her. She looked as perfect as ever, she looked exactly the same as she did the day she was taken.
She smiled at the spirits around her, and fireworks began to explode in his stomach as he watched, her laughter echoed through the cavernous expanse lifting his spirits, he could wait no longer.
"(Y/N)!" He shouted and watched as she turned her head to see where the voice had come from. Then she saw him, her already brilliant smile became more perfect.
"THOR!" She cried, as she began to push her way through the throng of spirits. As they drew closer, she ran and threw herself into his arms.
"Thor, is that really you? Please say it is, please tell me that you are not a dream." She held his face in her hands.
"Please tell me you are my Thor?" Thor could see tears begin to form in her eyes.
"It is me my love, it is really me I promise." She stared at him for a moment not believing it was true; then she kissed him, he had forgotten how wonderful her kisses were. Their lips moved together perfectly like they were made for one another. Her arms wrapped around him and gently pulled on the hair at the back of his neck; drawing her closer and snaked his arms around her waist. As they pulled away from one another Thor placed his forehead on hers.
"I am so sorry my love that it has taken so long to find you, we all believed that Odin had had you killed, we looked everywhere." She looked into his eyes.
"It doesn't matter my love you are here now and that is all that is important. Now where is my Loki? Is he not with you?" She looked around in a desperate search for her other love. Thor looked down at his wife.
"It is a difficult tale my love, Loki has done many bad things. I need you to come with me to Midgard, Loki is there; he has given up all hope since we lost you, I need you to bring him back to us, he is a lost soul."
Tears began to roll down her cheeks.
"Not my sweet Loki no! What has he done?" Thor brushed away the tears from her cheeks.
"I will tell you as we make our way to Midgard, but we must leave now." She nodded.
"I will tell them I have to leave." As she began to pull away but Thor held on to her wrist.
"I have something for you my love." From a bag concealed under his cloak he pulled out a crown, her crown, and placed it delicately on her head.
"I have new friends for you to meet my love and a queen cannot be without her crown. I know Loki will want to see you in it too."
She touched it gingerly. "I thought Odin had destroyed it, this crown is a symbol of our love, the combined crowns of my two kings." She threw her arms around his neck.
"I love you Thor." She peppered butterfly kisses over his face before rushing back into the throng of spirits. Thor listened intently as she spoke to one of them.
"Bromor, I have to leave. I have a very special soul to save. Promise me that you will keep my fires burning and never turn away a soul that looks for hope."
The spirit smiled and kissed her hand. "I promise my lady, thank you for everything you have done."
She walked back through the lost souls saying goodbye to them all, before standing in front of Thor. "Take me to Loki my love and spare me no details of what has happened on the way."

Fury stood before the assembled Avenger's in the conference room. "I have received a communication from Thor to let me know that he has found his wife, they will arrive by the Bifrost within the hour, we are to meet them on the roof."
"Where's Loki now? Does he know she's coming?" Bucky asked as he stood behind his best friend. His annoyance was obvious, the last few days without Thor there had proved more difficult than normal with Loki playing some of his most cruel tricks, taking his frustrations out on the two soldiers and Tony in particular.
"Loki is currently in the library, and as far as we know he has no idea that his wife is coming. Now I suggest that we are all on our best behaviour and make a good first impression, and I'm looking at you Stark when I say that. This (Y/n) is important to Thor and if she can help with Loki then all the better." Fury glared at the billionaire.

A short while later the team waited on the roof of Stark Tower for Thor and their mysterious visitor. With a sudden rumble of thunder and a bright flash of lightening the team saw two figures, one was obviously Thor, while the other was wrapped delicately in his arms with their head on his chest. Thor gently kissed the figure on the forehead before turning her around for his friends to meet.
The team looked, she was obviously beautiful; her skin was pale, and she had cheek bones that could cut ice. Her eyes were the colour of creamy jade, and they seemed to glow in the growing darkness of the evening. Her hair was cut short and was as raven black as Loki's except for two perfect white streaks that grew from next to her temples. She was dressed in black Asgardian armour inlaid with elegant gold and silver symbols of her two kings, and on her head the combined crown of silver wings and golden horns. It was easy to see why Thor and Loki loved her.
Thor smiled as he greeted everyone. "My friends, I would like to introduce you to our wife (Y/n)."
Thor pulled her close to his chest and nuzzled his face into her neck when he saw the envious looks of the assembled men. A hauntingly beautiful voice cut though the electrified atmosphere.
"Thor has told me show much about you, and I look forward meeting you all, but I need to speak to my Loki, can you show me where he is?"
There was a sudden rush as the men scurry up to the goddess. Tony grabbed her hand and kissed it. "My lady, Loki is in the library, please let my escort you to him." Thor pulled her hand away from his.
"If my brother is in the library, I believe that I am more than capable of showing my wife the way, thank you brother Stark."
Thor hurriedly pulled her away leading her to the library. As they finally find themselves outside the large doors she turned to Thor. "I think it would be better if I saw him alone Thor, if he needs me as badly as you say then I need time alone with him."
She kissed him gently on the cheek. "I love you my darling."
Thor pulled her into his arms. "I know you can save him, my heart." A delicate smile graced her lips as she turned and entered the library.
Loki heard the door open and let out an audible groan. "If you are here to bother me I wouldn't. I suggest you leave." He said not even bothering to look up from his book.
"I'd hope that you would want to see me my love." Loki's eyes widen as he heard a voice that he never thought he'd hear again. Lowering his book, he looked into the most beautiful eyes in the nine realms.
"Hello, my little mischief, I hear you've missed me?" Loki dropped the book on the floor and flew at the woman before him, pulling her into his arms kissing her passionately. "(Y/n)? my heart, is it you? I thought I'd lost you forever."
Cradling his face in her hands she looked up at him lovingly. "It is me my love, and I'm never leaving you again I promise."
Loki dropped to his knees and held her, placing is head on her stomach. "I've done so many bad things since you've been gone (Y/n), I don't know how to begin to tell you, to explain. I will understand if you no longer love me, I'm a monster and don't deserve to be loved by someone as wonderful as you."
She fell to her knees to join him and brushed the tears from his cheeks. "Thor told me most of what has happened, it was always you that needed me more. We have all the time in the world to talk about what happened, but whatever you did I still love you, and I will always love you. You are no monster, and you will always be perfect in my eyes. There's nothing you've done that cannot be fixed and you, I and Thor will do it together. You are both after all my heart."
