
August 7th: 5 Things I Dislike About Myself
Ugh this is gonna be my least fav because ugh
I'm going to just stick with mental/character traits and completely stay away from physical characteristics because, well, I don't like talking about that because then I start to go on and on and I'm sure it's v annoying

1) My Tendency to Overthink Things
I overthink everything. Someone could laugh behind me and I automatically have a million thoughts rolling through my head about all the million reasons they could be laughing at me. Even if it's just because someone told them a joke. My brain is constantly analyzing everything I say, thinking it's stupid or too eager or too happy or too over the top. Sometimes I wish I could stop that because it would make life easier and make me a lot less paranoid. Of course, this is sometimes helpful in class because I will think from every possible angle.
2)How Easily I Get Stressed Out
I can stress myself out so easily and I take everything so seriously it kills me but idk how to lighten up. I take school super seriously and flip out if I have anything less than a 90. And even then, I flip out over a 90. Not because I feel any pressure from my parents, they only care if I try my best. So I basically just get stressed out over nothing? Yup :/
3) Procrastination
I make jokes pretty often about how bad my procrastination issues are, but I actually really hate them. They keep me from doing what I need to do, and next year it's going to hit me hard if I can't break the habit. If I can stop them, then they're gonna be no big deal, but if I can't then crap.
4)How Often I Take Bites Way To Big To Chew
I tend to pile on things and don't want to get rid of any of them. Like, take this next year for instance. I'm taking an AP class (yikes), playing two different sports (different seasons, of course), doing AGs, and want to take voice and/or piano lessons, and another elective that has a ton of work. On top of that, I've started learning ukulele and guitar, and have also started working out more. Fun. And this happens all the time. Like, I never want to let anything go. I've always been like this too, tbh. And it's something that i should probably change, but idk how to because I want to do everything possible that I can. Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
5) My Mood Swings
Sometimes I'll be happy in one second (like to the point that I almost start laughing or smiling uncontrollably in a crowd) then a couple moments later, something will tick me off and I flip out. It's not bipolar or anything, I just don't think things through and let petty things beat me. But it really gets on my nerves because I'll be upset and I can't even tell why. Like I could burst into tears for some super good reason, then in like 3 minutes I forget the reason. Idk. I'm overthinking things right now too.
