Essentially, Nick is a confused boomer.
Also welcome to this book! Basically, a bunch of Ace Attorney one shots I came up with because I can I suppose. Hope you enjoy!

Ring, ring...
...Ring, ring...
......Ring, ring......
.........Ring, ri-
"Prosecutor Von Karma speaking, what do you need?"
"H-hi, Franziska..."
"Wright?... Ah, finally come to admit your loss?" Nick could hear the smirk over the phone.
"N-no, I need... Help..."
"...And why are you asking me?"
"W-well, I tried asking a lot of other people but..."
"But?"
"Um, well-"
"Spit it out!"
"Okay, okay, give me a sec," Nick looked at the scene in front of him, trying to find a way to describe what exactly it was he was looking at.
"So, um, I guess it started earlier today when I woke up-"
"You don't have to tell me your life story."
"No, hold on, I'm getting to the problem. So, I woke up and, Athena, Trucy, and Apollo were lying on the floor-"
"The floor of the office?"
"Yes, that floor."
"Was it clean?"
"Uh... Last I checked, yes."
"You had better pay for their dry cleaning." Franziska was kinda disgusted by this. Why would they just... Lie down on a dirty floor?
"Okay, just let me get to the issue," Nick was a bit frustrated by the constant interruptions.
"So they're lying on the floor...?"
"Right, they're lying on the floor, so I go to ask them what's wrong. And uh, well, they kinda said they're having a mid life crisis?"
"So they're..."
"On the floor panicking, yeah. But it gets worse."
"Oh?"
"So you're not the first person I called. Next I called Maya and Pearl who..."
"Alright...?"
"Well, after hearing their reasoning, they kinda... Joined them...?"
"So now you have five kids on the floor?"
"Six."
"What?" Franziska was a bit confused. Athena, Apollo, Trucy, Maya, Pearl... That's 5.
"Then I called Edgeworth..."
"Oh." Facepalm.
"And I asked him for help since he's good at reasoning with people (I think)," Franziska could sense the desperation in his voice.
"So now he's lying on the floor too?"
"Yup. There are six people lying on my floor having a joined existential crisis."
"..." She sighs. "I'll be there right away."
~About half an hour later~
Three loud knocks on the door signified that Franziska had made it to the Wright Anything Agency. A very tired Phoenix Wright opened the door and let her in. He didn't even need to say anything, he just gestured to the floor where Franziska saw the worst sight in her life.
Five adults (And one small bean) lying on the dirty floor of the agency, contemplating life, one of them being her little brother. The absolute scowl that formed on her face was purely out of anger and resentment to the group having resigned themselves to giving up. However, there was a small malicious side of her that just wanted to see Phoenix suffer for the amount of pain he put her through for losing her perfect win record. That's why...
"Well, Mr. Phoenix Wright..." That got the young defense attorneys attention.
"Yes Ms. Von Karma?"
"If you can't beat them, join them," and she joined the other six on the floor, no matter how revolting it felt to be lying on the floor.
The scream of pure agony Phoenix let out was absolutely more than worth it though. :)
