Still don't own Naruto...

Hinata sat in her room staring up at the ceiling. She couldn't stop thinking about yesterday... she had died. She peeled her shirt away from the mar in her skin, the rugged scar forever burned into her body from the spear that had ended her life. The same spear that was meant to take out Tobirama, but she had taken the hit for him. She didn't know why she had woken up with his armor on, what she saw when she had woken up she still didn't understand.

Her eyes had opened, but sight was not something she had fully regained. Darkness surrounded her and that was all. The darkness and the light that had shone through in the dark. Her fingers had brushed across the light that was attached to her and she furrowed her brows. It was armor, she could tell just by touch alone. Curiosity coursed through her, why would armor glow so bright? She looked up to see another light directly in front of her. She reached for it slightly, but it was out of reach. It was a dim light but as time passed, the light began to glow brighter.

The light became closer to the ground, as if it were giving up. There was a darker mist creature that was closing in on the light. There was a humming in her chest and a frantic beat consumed her heart. She felt the sinister air that surrounded the darker mist creature. 'Save the light!' rang within her mind and she jolted to her feet as fast as she could. Her hands clasped in front of her and she felt the ground rumble beneath her feet as roots sprung forth at the dark mist creature.

The light then stood and turned to her a bit, then it shot at the other creature. Color faded into her vision as she took in the armor that hung from her body. A smile crossed her face as she looked at what used to be the light, it was Tobirama. 'My light in the darkness...' she thought as she watched him fight Izuna, who she now knew as that creature of darkness that had Tobirama willing to submit.

A knock at her door pulled Hinata from her thoughts. She opened her door to see Sakura there and the pinkette had a smile on her lips. "Would you like to spar before we head over to the bar?" she asked and Hinata tapped her chin in thought for a moment then smirked as she walked around the pink haired woman in her bedroom door. "If you don't warn Neji, Itachi, and Hashirama, then yes." Hinata said and Sakura grinned. "As if I would ruin the fun. I already warned everyone who would warn them that if they do you will get a hold of them." Sakura laughed.

Hinata smiled at her pink haired friend, they hadn't been on the best of terms but as of lately things had begun getting better between the two of them and they were the troublesome two now since Ino was tied down with Naruto and Menma. Hinata and Sakura bumped their shoulders together with smirks on their faces. "I'm fighting alone, so no help on your side either." Sakura said and Hinata snorted. "Who said I was even going to have help?" she laughed and Sakura pulled on her gloves as they walked down the street.

Sakura had never really paid any attention to what Hinata would wear, but now that she did, Hinata seemed comfortable with her body... or rather didn't care anymore. Sakura liked Hinata's fashion sense, although it didn't really seem like something you would wear to fight in, but oh well. It seems Hinata fights perfectly fine with what she wore. But one thing was different now... the fishnet halter top was gone and a slightly more modest black tank top replaced it. it still showed her belly button, but it was tight and form fitting.

"I see you have taken a liking to non boob flashing clothes." Sakura snorted and Hinata smirked. "You wish Sakura." Hinata laughed, but her fingers absent mindedly found their way to a spot right in the part of her ribs, not too far above her belly button. Sakura watched as Hinata rubbed that spot carefully. "You are hiding something." She said simply and Hinata nodded. "My scar..." she said and Sakura's brows furrowed.

"What scar, you have never had a scar there before." Sakura said and then she caught herself. Her eyes went wide as Hinata lifted her shirt and showed her the scar. "It's the only proof that I have that I really died... It sits there and reminds me that I was dead." She said and Sakura frowned, but soon enough a smile crossed her lips. "But it is only a scar, it doesn't have to be a painful reminder; it can be a representation of exactly what you would do for the one you love." Sakura said and Hinata glared at Sakura then turned to face away from her with a blush on her cheeks. "I do not love him." She grumbled and Sakura laughed behind her hand.

"In the past, you would openly admit you loved someone, now that it's the second Hokage you want to deny it with your life." Sakura laughed and Hinata blushed harder. "Whatever." She snapped and the training grounds came into view. "I never said there wouldn't be people who want to watch the bar night re match." Sakura said with a smile and Hinata snorted. "I will win, drunk or not." She laughed and Sakura smirked. "You don't have your elements anymore, so I think I would reconsider." Sakura said and Hinata grinned as Tobirama sat in a tree, Naruto and Ino sat under that tree with little Menma. Kiba and Shino waved at her and stood under another tree.

Sasuke, Itachi and Neji sat in the tree on the edge of the training grounds. Lee and Tenten stood under another tree and Tsunade sat near Naruto and Hashirama. Hinata smiled at them and waved at all of them. Akamaru woofed at her and she grinned and ruffled his ears. Hinata found one side of the training area, while Sakura stood at the other securing her gloves to her hands tightly. "Hinata will win." Tobirama said and the rest of the group shrugged, they figured it would be an even fight now.

"And, let the fight begin!" Tsunade laughed and Sakura ran at Hinata and Hinata's hands clapped together in front of her and she slid one foot back and bent her other knee to where she was in a half crouch. The ground cracked beneath Hinata's feet as she propelled herself forwards with wind circling her palms. Sakura flipped backwards to avoid the cutting winds Hinata had sent at her when she had spun. Hinata dropped her arms and smirked. "Try and get close cherry-chan." She snorted and Sakura shot up from the ground below her feet and Hinata blinked then jumped.

"Challenge accepted, moon girl!" Sakura laughed and sent a barrage of kicks towards Hinata's arms but Hinata deflected each one and then spun on her heel and sent Sakura flying. Her moves were fluid and appeared to be a dance. Tobirama watched as Hinata fought, her style of fighting was completely her own, like a beautiful dance carefully planned out; much like his water training was. He watched as she bent backwards to avoid a particularly strong hit from Sakura, then she flipped her feet over her head like it weren't any problem to her.

Hashirama jumped up in the tree and sat beside him with his feet hanging off the branch. "The Kunoichi of this time are amazing, Ne?" he asked and Tobirama snorted. "You have no idea. The blonde one over there, can project herself into the minds of her enemies to falter their movements and thoughts, the pink haired one is an amazing medic and hand to hand combat specialist in brute force. The girl down there who looks a bit like a brown haired Mito, is a weapons mistress qualified for SS rank assassination missions. And then there is Tsunade as well... well you know Tsunade..." he said and Hashirama grinned.

"But what of the Hyuuga girl. I'm quite interested in her... she is lovely." Hashirama said and Tobirama rolled his eyes, he knew his brother was trying to get him worked up. "That one... she calls me a dinosaur, so what do you think she would call you?" he asked and Hashirama pouted again. "But, in all reality... she is hell in a hand basket. Me and her are at a stalemate at the moment because she knows the majority of my jutsu and then she can use lightning as well... I think she can still use it but I am unsure." Tobirama said and Hashirama chuckled.

"She really seems to like you though, so that may be a good sign." Hashirama offered with a shrug. "Oh... no... you are getting it all wrong." Tobirama said and Hashirama looked at him in confusion. "She doesn't like me... it's obvious that there is something more there, I think she idolizes me. Enough to where if I call her a genius, she would give her life to save me. She died for me, brother. It is obviously not a crush." Tobirama said and Hashirama grinned.

"You're a very lucky man little brother." He said and Tobirama nodded. "You could say that... I was told I have everything a few weeks ago and I had no idea what the man meant, but now I realize what he was saying. And in all reality I could have everything I wanted... but I never said I would let it come to me easy, or come to her easy." He chuckled and Hashirama rolled his eyes. "So you're going to see how long it takes her to realize that you see her the same way she sees you? You're an ass." Hashirama sighed and Tobirama laughed, which caused Hinata to look his way and Sakura pinned her down with a kunai to her throat.

"I think you just made her lose." Hashirama said and Tobirama smirked. "She won't lose like that." He said and Hashirama raised a brow at the dark haired woman being pinned down by the pink haired one. "I think I win." Sakura said and Hinata smirked and then the atmosphere swirled around them and it was Hinata who had Sakura pinned down instead of the other way around. "Damnit!" Sakura cursed and Hinata laughed. "Counter genjutsu. It will get you every time!" Hinata laughed and helped Sakura up.

"I told you she would win." Tobirama said and Hashirama looked from Hinata to Tobirama in surprise. "She can use counter genjutsu?" he asked and Hinata grinned. "She's the only one in Konoha who can, she can screw with your head and make you think you're winning, then she will flip it all around and kill all your hopes and dreams." Sasuke chuckled and Hinata smiled. "Its also very useful in finding bratty shinobi who want to randomly take off unannounced." She said and Tobirama noticed the jab was directed towards him.

"Listen here brat, I'm a grown man I can do whatever I want." He said and she raised a brow. "Yeah... and I am a grown woman and yet everywhere I went you seemed to be my stalker." She quipped and he shoved her shoulder lightly with a smirk. "It was my job." He said and she smirked. "And now my job is making your life hell." She said and he grinned. "As if you could make it any worse, you already blinded me back in suna." He said and Hinata's brow twitched and his eyes went wide as she gave him a swift uppercut to the jaw.

"Damn... that looked like it hurt." Hashirama said and Neji nodded. "What happened in suna?" Hashirama asked and Hinata's brow twitched again. "She stood up in the co-ed hot springs." Sasuke said with a smirk and Hinata glared at him. "Tobirama made me mad and I stood to defend myself but the pervert anticipated it and I made a fool of myself." She griped with a dark blush on her face. "Kankuro rather liked the view, though, so you can't be all that mad Hinata." Naruto said with a small smile and Hinata whirled on him with the ever darkening blush.

"Shut up!" she snapped and Sasuke laughed. "Gaara and I did too, it was a pleasant one." He said, but took off running when Hinata focused her glare on him. She raised one arm and a wicked smirk crossed her lips. "Bye Sasuke!" she yelled after him and swung her arm down as the dragon of lightning shot after Sasuke like a hunting dog after a rabbit. They heard the crackle of electricity and the thump of Sasuke hitting the ground. "Anyone else? Because fried pervert sounds pretty easy to make right now." She grumbled and Neji laughed.

"I'm sure it does, but I think you need a drink." He said and Hinata's eyes lit up and she looked at Tobirama who nodded. "Ok!" she chirped and followed behind the white haired man. Itachi and Neji went to go retrieve Sasuke, who they figured could use a drink as well. The bar was empty when they got there, so they knew it was about four. No one was really interested in drinking at four except Hinata and her friends of course, they were young so what did they care?

Hinata slid right over to her favorite bar stool and the bartender smiled at her. "Hello Hinata-sama, how are-" he began and then he saw Itachi, Neji, and Hashirama sit along on the bar stools beside her and Tobirama. Sasuke sat in between her and Tobirama, because Tobirama was not going to be her preferred victim, or so he thought. "By the Kami... you're alive..." he said and the three smiled at him lightly. "Hinata and a goddess granted us our lives back. Weird how things turn out." Hashirama said as he looked at his hands like it were still new to him.

"And its Tobirama's birthday!" Hinata chirped and the bartender chuckled. "Then I guess all of your drinks are on the house tonight, and unless you invite them no one else is coming in. it's the least I can do, seeing all these powerful shinobi grace my presence." He said and Hinata beamed at him. "Thank you!" she chirped and he ruffled her hair and she pouted. "Seems you have changed little Hyuuga, nice seeing you smile again." He said and she grinned. "Thanks again!" she said and he nodded at her.

But the peace of the silent bar didn't last long as music started to play and the drinks began vanishing from the bar tops. Hinata was now on the bar top searching through the liquor cabinets. "I'm going to pay you anyways, Hibiki-san, or else they will drink you out of house and home." Sakura laughed and he chuckled. "It isn't a problem, but if you wish you can." He said as he watched Hinata dance nimbly across the cabinets and hum happily as she grabbed a bottle with sky blue liquid. "Oh hell... she found the secret blue mist vodka..." Hibiki chuckled and Hinata grinned at the blue vodka.

"Tobirama! I found two bottles of this!" she said and jumped over to crouch in front of him. Neji watched his younger cousin in mild curiosity, but the bright red bottle with some unreadable name caught his eyes and he hopped over the counter to grab it. he then carried it back over to where Lee and Tenten were waiting on him. "It is some sort of vodka mixer... Someone go find a bottle of the clear vodka, we are going to have our own little drinking game." Neji said as Sakura walked over to sit by Lee, the bottle of Absolut in her hand as she shook it lightly to get their attention.

"Me and Lee, against you and Tenten." Sakura said and Lee smirked. He had gotten out of the whole, mini-me thing with guy sensei. He now wore normal clothes and had his hair in a halfway slicked back, halfway spiked hairstyle, he preferred it that way and Sakura had gotten a hold of those awful bushy brows, there was nothing you could do about the eyes, but at least he was trying to look normal now of his own free will.

"By the end of the night, the Uchiha are going to be scarred for life." Sakura laughed lightly and Neji raised a brow at her. "Why would that be?" he asked and Sakura smirked along with Tenten and Lee laughing. "Hinata and Tobirama are both drinking tonight." She said and Neji raised a brow. "I have to ask... is it really that bad?" he asked and Sakura laughed. "Yes, there is a reason why Gaara hates coming to konoha now, he always ends up in some bar with Hinata, same for the other kage." Sakura said and Neji snorted.

"What an interesting bunch we have here..." Kakashi chuckled as he was let into the bar. He walked over and sat by Naruto and Ino, who had left Menma with Kurenai sensei and little Asuma who was a few years older than Menma, but they still played together perfectly fine. Hashirama was downing shots like they were nothing, Tsunade was downing them just as fast if not faster and they were locked in a glaring contest. They had apparently made a bet to see who would be able to drink more without passing out, so it was going to be a while.

Hinata was crouched in front of Tobirama, who sniffed the bright blue liquid and shrugged. "Doesn't smell that bad, kinda smells good for once." He said and she nodded as she set her cap on the table in front of her bottle. They both sat their bottles down and backed their hands away from the bottles. Sasuke and Itachi sat sipping beer on each side of Tobirama. "This is going to get interesting..." Itachi commented and Sasuke nodded. "It always is." He said and Itachi smiled a bit.

"I take it you have seen this before?" he asked and Sasuke nodded. "Hinata is the all time champ. She gets very kage drunker than drunk to where they have to be carried home the next day although I think she was trying to do lady Mizukage a favor." He chuckled and Itachi blinked then chuckled as well. "Speaking of Mei! I invited her too!" Tsunade yelled and Hinata tossed a fist in the air. "Alright!" she laughed and Tobirama sighed into his hands.

"Anyways, on your mark... get set... go!" Hibiki exclaimed and Hinata turned the bottle completely upside down at her lips at the same time Tobirama began downing his bottle as well. The bottles were pretty big, almost as big as a two liter of soda, but not quite. Hinata finished and took a deep breath as she slammed her bottle on the counter. She closed her eyes and made a face and held a hand to her lips, but soon enough she shook it off and grinned as Tobirama set his bottle down. He didn't make a single face, his eyebrow twitched a bit but that was all. Until he let loose a huge burp that made Hinata hold her hands over her nose.

The bar erupted in laughter and Hinata glared at a smirking Tobirama. The Mizukage appeared in the doorway and her eyes automatically landed on Sasuke and Itachi and she grinned as she sat near them with her naturally wandering hands. She tossed seductive looks Itachi's way and he chuckled lightly until he felt the offending hand reach for his rump. He stiffened as he looked her way. "Lady Mizukage..." he managed to choke out in his surprise and she giggled.

"You Uchiha really are handsome..." she said then her eye landed on Kakashi and Tsunade, who had stopped her drinking game with Hashirama long enough to wave her over. "Dear lord... the rumors were true..." Itachi muttered and shivered lightly. Sasuke snorted. "I realized that at the kage summit... she was totally gonna fan girl." He chuckled and his eyes wandered back to Hinata, who's cheeks were turning pink, Tobirama smirked at her but his cheeks were a darker shade of pink than hers were.

"That was some really good booze if Hinata's getting drunk that quick, normally it takes about three hours of anything to get her drunk... but look at her. Hinata spun to her feet and made her way over to the shelves. Hibiki sighed as he watched her. Mei had begun drinking with Tsunade and Hashirama and they rushed her to catch up with their number of shots, she made it to twenty five and was in the floor. Tsunade snickered as she poured shot number fifty. Hashirama's face was tinged pink, but he wasn't going to back down. And their drinking game started up all over again.

Hinata planted her butt back down right in front of Tobirama with two bottles of the nasty smelling amber liquid. "That's going to make you barf..." Sasuke said and Hinata cackled. "Idiot! This isn't for me! she giggled and Sasuke smirked and grabbed one of Tobirama's arms and motioned for Itachi to grab the other. Itachi grabbed it and held it down there was no resistance until the bottle came closer. Hinata managed to get him to drink half the bottle until Tobirama got free and tackled her into the floor and made her finish the rest of that bottle and the entire other bottle.

Hinata was writhing in the floor with a disgusted look on her face for a few minutes until Sasuke gave mercy upon her and handed her a coke from the mini fridge. She downed it and she managed to climb back on the bar. She crawled over to the wall and sat for a moment, her face contorting in disgust and disgusted shivers wracking her body every now and again. She glared at Tobirama as the blush on her face darkened. "I friggin hate you..." she slurred and everyone in the bar looked at her, Mei cheered from the floor, Naruto and Tsunade cheered from their seats. "Tobirama has avenged the kage! Hinata has been defeated!" they laughed and Hinata managed to flip them the middle finger as her world began spinning.

Tobirama began chuckling darkly as well after about twenty minutes of watching everyone else drink. The blush on his cheeks had darkened and he stared at his older brother who had hit the floor about fifteen minutes ago, Tsunade was slouched over the bar with a sick look on her face. "I won though." She laughed as her face pressed further into the cool surface of the bar. "No Tenten! Don't go outside! You'll... never mind it now..." Neji sighed as Tenten stumbled out into the chilly night and she hurled on the sidewalk outside.

Hinata was still drinking, but in moderation now. She watched as Tobirama's arms draped over Sasuke and Itachi's shoulders. The looked at him oddly and a sadistic look crossed his face as he tightened his grip on them and chuckled darkly as he scratched under their chins. "Good little Uchiha..." he chuckled darkly and the two Uchiha visibly stiffened. It was a well known fact that Tobirama didn't really like Uchiha. "Don't be mean to them Tobi! They aren't Madara and Izuna! You can't torture them like you did those two!" Hashirama slurred from the floor and Tobirama chuckled.

Tobirama was about to scar the two Uchiha for life when a tap on his shoulder made him look Hinata's way. "Tobi-kun..." she said and he blinked. "Hinata." He said and she rubbed her upper arm lightly. "I can't get down..." she said and he grinned and dropped the two Uchiha in the floor as he stood to help her off the counter top. "Can we talk outside?" she asked and he shrugged. "I guess, if you can make it that far." He chuckled and she elbowed him in the side.

He flinched and followed her. She stumbled and began laughing loudly once she hit the floor he chuckled and helped her up. "Careful now." He chuckled and she giggled again. "What ever!" she giggled and he helped her out of the bar. She was skipping drunkenly ahead of him giggling like a little girl in the academy. "What did you want to talk about Hinata?" he asked, but he wasn't quite sure it had come out as clearly as he had liked.

She hopped to turn around and she smiled at him brightly. Her smiles always gave him a rush, he guessed it was because he had rarely ever gotten a real one from her. "I think..." she began and clasped her fingers together behind her back. "I think I love you, Tobirama-kun." She said and he raised a brow. "You could quite possibly be the most annoying woman in the world." He began and he saw the hurt in her eyes, but that hurt soon turned to anger as she strolled towards him.

"You could quite possibly be the most brash, unthinking, and troublesome woman I have ever met." He said and he grabbed the first hand that came flying at him and he grabbed the second one soon after. The tears in her eyes as she tried to jerk her hands from his grasp didn't go unnoticed. "But..." he began as his lips crushed against hers. Her eyes went wide then they slid shut as she kissed him back. He pulled away from her with a smirk. "But... I think I love you too." He said and she reached up to wrap her arms around his neck and she kissed him again.

"You're such an ass." She said when she pulled away and he smirked. "I know, now let's get you home..." he said and they walked off towards her house, albeit it was more of a stumble with a bunch of giggles and chuckles, than a walk.
