The secrets we keep
A/N
I just wanted to say something real quick. I appreciate all your concern but this is just stuff that is in the past now. I'm not completely over it but that's why I'm writing all this. Things have gotten slightly better since last year - I can go to the University of my choice now. You guys have no idea how excited I am.

On with the story.
Since I threw everything up at 3 in the morning the effects weren't as bad as they would have been. I still had trouble getting around and there was an ever-present dull pain spreading through my limbs during the day. Of course my friends knew something was wrong as soon as I walked into school. I burst into tears then and there and everyone was asking me what was wrong. Anyone had yet to see me cry.
You see I used to be that girl who would go through the corridor and smile at everyone who walked past because if someone did that to me it would make me feel better if I was having a bad day. I wanted to be that person for others so I always walked with a grin and as a result the whole school knew me as such. The smiley one, they made jokes about how I could be a Colgate model too.
I just couldn't stop crying. So I called the only person I could think of in that Moment - we will call her A. A had just started University and she was in the year above me. Everyone would say I was like a copy of her because we were good at the same subjects and absolutely awful in the same ones too. She was a very close friend but also like an older sister in the sense that she gave me advice when I had to go through similar things as her.
I sat in the girl's changing room and explained everything. She made me promise to tell one of the teachers and so I did. So much happened with the teachers it was hard to explain but it's safe to say I didn't go to any lessons. I wanted answers though. Why did this have to happen to me? Why did Q tell?
So I texted her,
We've been friends for a while now but I can't stay friends with someone who doesn't accept me. I'm starting new and I don't want to have a reminder of what happened recently.
Her reply was somewhere along the lines of,
I was only doing what's best for you. It's wrong. You know I only had good intentions - to put you on the right path. And besides we were put in a position where we couldn't lie.
To say I was beyond pissed was an extremely huge understatement, basically my so-called "best friend" lied to me all this time. She never accepted me from the beginning and I suppose that was where my mistake was in telling her. And she couldn't lie? Everyone has a choice of what they want to say, no one can force you to do something you don't want to do.
Do you think she did right in telling the truth? Or should she have kept the secrets?
I obviously voiced my anger through a text and her reply made me laugh,
I don't know why you're mad at me. I didn't remember what I memorised so apa (mosque teacher) told my parents so my Dad took my Ipad off me for the week.
It's kind of ridiculous that she thought that was a major cause for concern so my reply expressed everything I felt about her situation in the kindest way possible,
Aaaawww. Do you want me to play a violin for your convincing sob story?
She wanted to tell my story and I hope someday she feels guilty for that because as of yet she still hasn't apologised. You know I really do feel like life has a way of constantly screwing me over.

I'm sorry if the writing isn't up to scratch. My thoughts are kinda jumbled in my head so the order's a bit messed up.
