Hopes and Dreams
If you see me one day on that stage and I look at you with secrets you've only ever read about, please promise me that you won't say a word to anyone. I've poured my heart into this book and it would hurt a lot of people to know the truth about me. Not that I've done anything wrong of course, I'm just a very controversial person.
I have dreams and just like everyone else I want them to be real. I wont stop until they are and inevitably out of all people that have read this someone will realise. You'll realise that it's the same broken girl you read about - possibly all those years ago if you remember me. That the girl smiling whilst singing her heart out had to face a life of aching misery before she got anywhere.
I may have to take this book down one day but I'll still remember you all because you made the pain bearable. What was once a blazing fire is now black smoke. There is still hurt from the past. It's inevitable. But my mind is no longer a basement of loneliness for my thoughts to feel drowned in, the world is so much clearer to me now. And I hope the same happens to you one day.
A/N
The strange part is I wouldn't change any of it.
