~Lucy~

I was sitting in the taxi beside Sting, restless to my train of thoughts. Questions, situations and resolutions that flew round and round my mind. Sting held on to my shoulder, seeing my troubled state.

"What is really happening?" He asked, holding my hand tightly.

I bit my tongue and suddenly burst into tears. I covered my face and let everything out. I couldn't stand the thought of what could possibly happen.

"I-It's Natsu! He needs a doctor! No one wants to operate the brain surgery and....h-he might die....You're his only hope of living!!" I cried, staring hopelessly at his eyes. I can already see him taking pity at me. He suddenly laughed oddly. I was surprised and looked at him. Sting had this sinister smile that I saw in Natsu's eyes when he saw Minerva.

"You think I'm gonna help him, Lucy??" He laughed. "We planned this! I'm not going to help him! No way!" His face, smiling, yet scary.

"S-Sting? What are you talking about??" I shouted. "We? Sting! Tell me!"

"A year ago. A girl named Lisanna told me everything about this Natsu guy. When I knew he was with you I had to protect you from him!"

I was puzzled. Sting looks as if he was already crazy. He was out of his mind. Sting.....I remember now! He had.....he has a mental problem when he was a child....but that was cured...I remember it...

"Why would you protect me from Natsu?!?! What exactly did Lisanna tell you??"

He had this evil smirk growing widely on his face. "She told me that he killed hundreds years ago and that I should protect you. She told me that you were with him. and She's helping me to rid of a disgrace like him. You don't need him! I'm right here! He can never have you remember that!! NEVER!!"

I was trembling to my very bone to just witness a change of attitude from good to worst. When will this end.....? Natsu.....Hold on..

~Mira~

Laxus was carrying me, because this way is faster. We tried to call a taxi, but no taxi stopped on his signal. So he ran and ran.

"What are you doing?" I shouted at him. The wind made my voice a little weak. "The East Forest Hospital is ten blocks from here!"

"I don't care! You care about that Natsu you were talking about, right? then we better hurry!" He shouted back. I couldn't contradict that. It left me speechless for some reason.

"Laxus..."

He stayed silent, running, breathing heavily.

"Do you have a picture of your sister?" I asked. He stopped for a second and put out a photo that was burnt on the edge.

"This is the last one. After dad told me she's gone. He burnt every picture of her. I struggled to keep this one."

"You really love your sister, don't you?"

"Of course. She was the only one there for me. eventhough she's younger." I smiled and he continued to run. I looked at the picture, it was dark so I couldn't see well. But the second I saw the picture my eyes widened, thinking, Am I really seeing this? Is this them? I can't believe it.

"W-what's your sisters name?" I asked nervously.

"Her name was......."

My eyes widened. It's her! I've seen her before! That's impossible! It couldn't be, just comparing their faces and other atributes....It doesn't match at all!

~Lucy~

I couldn't move. I was too scared, but I needed to move! I need Courage! I opened the door of the taxi and jumped out, but Sting suddenly grabbed my hand tightly, stopping me.

"And where do you think your going?!?" Sting asked, face so twisted, so close to a yandere.

"Let go Sting! Please stop this! Go back to the real you!!" I made a big scene in the road, but I don't care! They can watch all they want! All I want is to get to the hospital!

"This is the real me.." He stated. He pulled me inside. "And.....You staying here..." He replied, making the hair on my skin stand up. It was terrifying!

I hesistated for a second, but I needed to do it. "Mmm!!! I'm sorry Sting!" I shouted. Then I plunged my fist on him, but he suddenly blocked it! I knew he would do that so I managed to raise my foot and kick him in the face, making him unconscious. I gave the taxi driver the money and carried Sting. I don't really know why I'm bringing him, but I can't just leave him in a car with a stranger, no consciousness. I had to bring him. He's still my friend.

~Natsu~

I felt pain circulating through my whole body, I felt weak and Vunerable. I opened my eyes, seeing me on a white bed. something on my mouth. I sat up straight, felt pain in my head and stomach. I tried to cover my mouth, but I felt something on it. It was....I turned left and I was! I am in oxygen?? What happened?

I heard a creek sound from the door. The door was slowly opening, and soon I saw a hand.

"Lucy, is that you?" Creaaking sounds were coming from the door, slow footsteps being heard. Then suddenly! the door flew open, and there! I saw Lisanna, standing there, her bangs over her eyes, not moving an inch.

"L-Lisanna?" I couldn't believe my eyes. Is that her?? Is it really? I was so happy to see her. I mustered some of my energy and stood up. I had a feeling of great relief, but I noticed that she was still to where she was. At a time like this, she should've been smiling.

"Lisanna! I can't believe your alive! I-" I paused, seeing Lisanna bring out a knife from her hand. A knife with fresh bright red blood dripping down to the floor. It was a lot, it was thick and was up to her hand down to the knife's tip.

"What are you-" I stopped, staring curiously at the sharp knife she was holding tightly. I turned to her face and was shocked to witness a sadistic glare on a childhood friend like her. Then she suddenly plunged the knife straight in front of me. I was really weak, but I managed to dodge it. I fell down and she was already walking in front of me. I couldn't hurt her, but I had to.....

I slid my foot through hers, making her fall down. Then I felt frozen, stuck to where I was. Stand up Natsu! Come on! I need to.....Move!! I weakly manage to stand up and walked a bit closer to Lisanna, who was lying on the floor.

I kneeled down. "Lisanna, are you okay?" I asked, very worried. She twitched then she suddenly turned around. I was off guard. She sliced her knife through the air. I got a long fresh wound on my cheek. I touched it and it stings, it was bleeding a lot.

"Lis-" I was stopped when she suddenly pushed me back. She was above me and was gonna strike me with her knife. She thrust it high and was dropping her hand, but I stopped her hand, inches before the blade got to my face. I had this tight grip on her hand, she was so forceful, it's like she....intended to kill me. It's like..A deep hatred inside her...Why?

"Why are.....you doing.....this?" I asked, it was getting hard to breathe. I gasp for air a few times. Then my body felt heavy.....no...I need to stay awake, and I felt Lisanna Grab my foot and drag me somewhere....after that...Pitch black..

~Lucy~

Finally, I reached the hospital. I ran inside and told a nurse to treat Sting. I informed them about his mental problem, and they said that he will be confined for now, so he could be treated. I can visit him though. I handed them Sting and ran to the information desk.

"Excuse me, but where is Natsu Dragneel?!" I quickly asked. The nurse behind the desk was, for some reason, hiding her face, she had a nurse hat on.

"Natsu Dragneel? And what are you to the patient?" She asked. Her voice sounded familiar, very familiar, it's not a voice I've heard everyday, but a voice I've heard once.

"I'm his friend. My name is Lucy Heartfilia."

"Is that so? Hehe~" I was curious at the characteristics of this nurse. She acted very strange. "Follow me Ms. Heartfilia." She walked and she leaded me further and further away to where the information desk was. We just walked straight and straight. Then we arrived at a door at the end of a long hallway. She opened the door and said.

"This is his room." It was very dark inside.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." I turned around and looked a bit closely at the information desk. And I saw pink locks popping a bit out under the desk. I was surprised! That's Natsu! Then that must mean! I turned to the nurse and saw her face. It was Lisanna!

"L-Lisa....Lisanna?..." But when I was about to run away from her. She pushed me in the dark room and slammed the door in my face.

"Hey! Let me out!" I shouted as I harshly hit the metallic door several times, but no one will be able to heard me since I was in a long distance away from where people are allowed to go.

"You stay here Little girl~" She stated sadistically. "I've got something more important things than dealing with you......Sting will deal with you..."

"were you using Sting?!" I replied.

"Yes. He was just this little loyal puppet~"

"How dare you?? How could you do this to me?!"

"There are reasons for everything honey. I'll pass you to Sting now."

"So you were using him!!"

"So what if I was?"

"He's confined in this hospital! I managed to set him aside for now."

It went a bit quiet on her side. "What do you mean?" She sounded nervous, yet had a tone of teasing.

"I handled Sting. He can't do anything to me now!" I was grinning in a bit of progress.

"Is that so?" She said. "Well. Then I have to finish Natsu before anything gets out of hand..."

"Don't do this! You're Natsu's friend aren't you?!" I heard her footsteps but it suddenly stopped when I said the words 'Natsu's friend'

She suddenly ran back to the door and put her face in a whole that could see through the other side, my side. I looked at her and saw her devilish state, her terrifying gaze and her evil grin.

"Let me rephrase that girl. I'm not 'Natsu's friend' I'm Natsu's girlfriend. Let me guess, Natsu never mention me to you, didn't he?"

"N-no he didn't......but how could that be possible! he's not your boyfriend! He's....not.......huh....then why would you kill him!?" I asked. It was impossible, it's true that Natsu never mention her, but he told me about her when Mira came in our house.

"Did you ever think if Natsu is really being honest with you?"

"Of course he is!" I replied.

"Huh? Okay then. Sure he is~ I'll leave you here, thinking about a happy imaginary life with Natsu. Dream about a life you always wanted. But let me ask you this."

I leaned on the door and waited for her next word. "Are you ready to accept the harsh and cruel fate of the real world, or do you want to live a lie? Just.....like......what you're...living in....;you see, I'm not like you. I want to live freely by killing the burden you and I've been hanging on my neck...and that is Natsu Dragneel..."

At that second, hearing those threatening words made me enraged. I went crazy, I harshly slammed the door with my body and was hitting it repeatedly with my fist.

"Stop this! Come back here!! Don't do it Lisanna!!!" I kept shouting, hitting the door repeatedly, making loud noises so that at least someone might hear me. I leaned on the door, hopeless, desperate and so depressed. What am I suppose to do now? I stared at the pitch black darkness that was in front of me.

I have find my way out! I thought to myself. Then I rushed into the dark and grabbed anything I could touch.

Then, luckily! I remembered I had my cellphone! I stared at the bar of signal. There was a bit of signal, enough to send a message. I was about to call someone for help when suddenly!....I got a text from Mira-san.

~Mira~

We arrived at the hospital. At that time, I totally forgot about Laxus's sudden revelation about his family, just seeing everyone so busy! nurses running around! Attracted my attention to it. The nurse on the desk was really busy. I think she was calling random doctors, informing them about Natsu's serious condition.

I brought out my phone and called Lucy. It was ringing, but she didn't seem to accept the call. So I sent her a message.

Lucy, we're here at East Forest hospital, where Natsu's in critical condition. Text me back if you got this.

I sent it and asked Laxus to put me down. I could walk at the very least. He agreed, but helped me stand.

Then my phone rang and it was a message from Lucy.

Mira, I'm already here! Believe it or not, Lisanna is alive and she locked me in a room down the hall. Help! She is trying to kill Natsu. Please stop her.

My eyes widened, just reading that. Lisanna knew about Lucy? Oh no......If that's what she did then--....Where is she now?! I tried to hide this from Laxus. I have a bad feeling that if he knew about this he would go on a rampage! I was afraid of this to happen. Me, Minerva and Loke only did this to protect Natsu....I didn't know he had a connection with her..

We walked up to the information desk and ask the nurse.

"Um....Ms? Where is Natsu confined?"

"Natsu? We don't have a patient named Natsu." Her voice sounded familiar, and I saw a silver strand coming out of her nurse hat. Could it be...?? Lisanna..!! It's you! I got enraged and flipped her hat angrily, but I was surprised to see that it wasn't her.

"Is something wrong?" She asked nervously.

"Y-you're not Lisanna...? Why do you have a part of your hair white when your hair is brown??"

"I'm sorry. I'm not this Lisanna. My name is Anna, My sister did this. We were playing and she dyed my hair white"

"Is that so? Well, Is a patient named Natsu Dragneel confined here?"

"Why yes! There is! I'm sorry. The last name is the only thing that was registered here.....and who are you to the patient?" She asked nicely.

"We're his friends. May we know his room."

"Okay then. Please sit over there and wait for a while. I'll see if you are allowed and search his room."

Me and Laxus sat beside the window, staring at the people who are so happy, and the others that are crying home.

"I'm getting worried..." I muttered.

"About Natsu, Lucy, and Lisanna?" He asked me, rubbing my back, encouraging me to be strong.

I nodded......Oh wait, Lucy! I forgot something! "Laxus! you stay here. If Lisanna comes follow her. Try to find Natsu. I'm going to look for Lucy!" I told Laxus and jolted up from my seat. I looked left, right. I have no clue to where she was! I tried calling her but my phone said. 'The signal is insufficient to make a call. Please try again later'

"tsk! Low signal?? The bar is full!" I was getting impatient for every second passing. My phone suddenly rang, it was a message from Lucy.

Mira, whatever you do. Don't talk to the nurse in the information! Lisanna, she's at the desk. Natsu is under th

The message wasn't finished. Is Lucy okay?.....Lisanna? Anna is the one in the desk, not Lisanna. I ran back to the information desk where Anna was. At that time, I was surprised that I could walk, run even. My wounds hurt a bit, but it was bearable. I remembered something and dialed my phone.

"Hello?.......yes! Come here quick, in East Forest hospital...something horrible might happened, I need your help.........Thank you...please come quick.....bye." I ended the call and dialed a different number.

"Minerva! I need your help! Come quick! I'm at East Forest Hospital, You remember the girl Natsu was with........yes the blonde one.......she got involved.....I'm sorry, but at a time like this just please help me!......Really? Thank you!" She ended the call, meaning she's in a hurry to come here.

And I dialed the last two people I needed to call.

"Hello....Yes....I need both of your help here at East Forest hospital....it's an emergency! Please!" I pleaded. I needed all the help, and they are the only people I trusted before until now.

"We'll come right away!" They replied. I smiled, thanked them and ended the call. I ran to the desk and asked Anna.

"Anna, Were you here the whole day?" I asked her. She shooked her head.

"No one was assigned to this desk before me. The whole day." I was surprised to her that she said that. I bowed and ran to the hallways. I tried to figure out where Lucy was. I need to get her out before everyone arrives. It might get bloody.

I ran through every hallway, opened every door, but no use! She's not where I think she is! .........where I think she's not!

I think I know now! I looked at the map on the wall, it showed the rooms, all the nooks and crannies of the hospital. And there! I knew where it was! I knew where she was! And I need to hurry, she might be in serious danger....

I ran left then right, then left again. I slid my foot, stopping my fast pace and ran straight. I could see the metallic door. I ran to it. I stopped in front of it, seeing the sign beside the door.

'Danger, do not enter.' It said written in on the wall. Then I remembered what room this is......this is the room where There was....psychological experiments happening here, one good reason why She put it here. I took a deep breath and out all my strength in kicking the door. I thrusted my foot and......Bam! I hit it! It fell down with a kick mark. I opened the door and was wishing that Lucy wasn't inflicted with any harm. I entered in, seeing nothing but a pitch black surrounding.

"Lucy!" I called. I couldn't hear a reply, all I heard was hissing......hissing of the experimented subjects. I quickly took out my phone and let out a bright light. There! I saw Lucy lying on the ground, shivering in fear. "Lucy!" I called worried. She was shaking. It looks like she was traumatized, by what? I carried her and brought her a nurse and she put Lucy in a confined room. I'm not sure about confining her, but I need to keep her from the chaos that will happen.

I was walking to the information desk then my phone rang. I received three text messages saying.

"I'm here." I smiled and was a bit wild inside.

~Laxus~

I kept my eyes alert, left, right. I looked everywhere, scanning the whole area for Lisanna, by Mira's description. She has White short hair, tall, blue eyes and has fair skin. I turned to the information desk and still saw Anna. Mira ran back to Anna and asked her something and quickly ran somewhere else. I looked closely at the information desk, nothing, I stared at the window but----wait! I saw something! I darted my eyes back to the desk and saw a different nurse.....White hair, fair skin........Blue eyes! Lisanna! I saw her doing something below her and I saw pink locks of hair, mixed with the color red. Natsu!

I stood up, casually, not making my figure noticed. I was walking to the desk, but the second she saw me walking towards her, she suddenly carried Natsu and immediately put him on a stretcher, pushing him quickly, farther and farther away from me. She noticed me. I tried to follow her, but she was too fast. I couldn't keep up due to the hundreds of nurses and patients in the hospital. I dove my way through the crowd of people, but couldn't catch up. Luckily, Natsu's blood that dripped to the floor made a trail to lead me there. I started to follow it. I ran faster, seeing the trail getting thinner and thinner. I stopped as the blood was gone at a dead end. The trail of blood ended in a dead end, the wall had a framed quote hanging on the wall.

"Life.....is too short to just stand......treasure th-" I was cut off on reading the quote when someone from behind hit me with a crowbar. I feel straight down to the cold floor and I could already see my blood flowing down. The blood was in my eyes, now all I see is a bloody red surrounding.

Before I passed out, I witnessed a few things. To my surprise, I saw Natsu standing up perfectly, looking completely undamaged. Lisanna dropped the crowbar to the floor and smiled happily at Natsu. Natsu raised his hand, for a high five, Lisanna high fived back. Then just before everything went black, I remember Natsu smiling back at Lisanna and told her.

"Hey! Good job!" I was completely shocked. What the hell is really happening??

~Mira~

I walked back to where Laxus was seat, but He wasn't there. All I saw was an empty seat. I sat there, waiting a bit.....I looked at the information desk and Anna was still there. Then I darted to the window. I stood up and walked to the door, and to my surprise. Help came right on time. The doors opened, revealing...

"Hey, Mira. What are we gonna do now~" Said Minerva sadistic like.

"Were here now.." Said Erza and Kagura in sycn.

A smirk ran on my face. "This is gonna be bloody........"
