Chapter 7
•Kacey's POV•
I woke up the next morning in a really good mood. Just wait, something bad is going to happen. I can feel it. I shook off the thought and went to go make breakfast for when Lucas woke up.
Last night was so much fun. I really am lucky to have Lucas. I smiled as I touched my stomach. Soon there will be a tiny Lucas or tiny me running around the house. Now, just to wait 9 months.
My phone buzzed and I looked at the text, it was from Lottie.
Lottie Bottie😎✌🏻️- Girls day today! Be ready by 11!
To Lottie Bottie😎✌🏻️- So I'm being forced to do this?😂
Lottie Bottie😎✌🏻️- You would have said yes anyways😂
To Lottie Bottie😎✌🏻️- Yeah😂 I'm making breakfast, want to come over with Jack?
Lottie Bottie😎✌🏻️- Sure, be over soon!
"Mmmmm, something smells good!" Lucas said as he walked into the kitchen with just his underwear on. "Lottie and Jack are coming over. Go put on a shirt and pants," I told him.
"But I'm too lazy," Lucas whined. "Then no food for you," I smirked. His face dropped. He started running up the stairs. "What are you doing?" I asked. "I'm going to put some pants and a shirt on so I can have food!" Lucas yelled.
I laughed and went to my refrigerator to get out some eggs. I smiled as I remembered when I first moved into Jen's house when I was 6.
*flashback starts*
I walked into the kitchen and ran over to the refrigerator. I hugged it because refrigerators are my bæ.
They give me food and I love food. I opened the refrigerator and my jaw dropped.
FOOD EVERYWHERE!
I licked my lips and then closed the door.
*flashback over*
It was true then and still is now. Refrigerators are my bæ. Lucas came running downstairs as I heard Lottie open the door.
"DA PARTY HAS ARRIVED!" Lottie yelled. I laughed and she came running into the kitchen with Jack by her side. Jack and Lucas went off into the living room to talk and Lottie stayed to help me with breakfast.
"You know what's sad," Lottie said. "What?" I asked. "We never got that apartment together and our lives have been ruined thanks to George," Lottie whispered.
"George gave us Lucas and Jack. Sure, things were bad but who cares. We can get over it together. Also, you and Jack can just move in with us," I said.
Lottie looked up at me, "Really?" I nodded my head. "I was talking to Lucas about it over our honeymoon and he said it was a good idea," I told her.
"Yay!" Lottie yelled as she hugged me. I then saw something on her hand shimmer. I grabbed her hand and looked at it. "A wedding ring!" I exclaimed. Lottie's face went red, "Yep."
"I'm so excited for you! I have some news to tell you too!" I said. "What?" Lottie asked. "I'm pregnant," I said.
"I'm going to be an aunt!" Lottie exclaimed as she dropped some eggs onto the floor. "Oops," she laughed. I started laughing too. We cleaned up the mess and got breakfast on the table. We told Jack about how we wanted him and Lottie to move here.
He said it was a wonderful idea and we decided to help them move in this weekend. Jack decided to stay with Lucas while me and Lottie had a girls day. I went to go get ready, kissed Lucas goodbye, and then went outside to the car where Lottie was waiting.
"Girls day?" Lottie asked. I laughed at her Fault In Our Stars reference. "Girls day," I confirmed.
