Kacey went to sleep and I took August out into the hallway. We sat down and I decided to talk to him.

"So what is happening? Why is Lindsey like that? Just start from the beginning," I said.

"Well, me and my wife Julia found out that we couldn't have children one day. So, we decided to adopt a child and we went to an orphanage called Sunnyside Orphanage,"

"We found Lindsey and adopted her, our friend ended up being Lindsey's real mom. One day they both went missing so we thought that Jenny, our friend, had taken her,"

"When we found them it was in an old abandoned house. We went in a room where we found Lindsey and a dead Jenny, Lindsey had killed her,"

"Lindsey tried to kill me too. I was in the hospital for like a month and a half because of what she did to me. Lindsey disappeared but I caught her trail one day,"

"Now, I am trying to cure her but I'm having trouble with that George guy, he is always getting in the way," August told me.

"Wow, that actually happened?" I asked. August nodded his head.

"So what are you going to do now?" I asked. "I have to go and find her. With her in this world no one is safe," he said.

"Why is no one safe?" I asked. "That isn't really Lindsey, she is I don't know, I think possessed or she might just have some issues. Or both. I'm going with both but you never know," he said.

"Yeah, or just insane, a weirdo, crazy, coo coo in the nut," I started. "Woah woah woah, this is my daughter we are talking about. I get that she is crazy but that doesn't mean you have to say that," he said serious.

My face dropped. "I was just kidding," August laughed. "But, now it is time for me to go," he said.

"What? But what if Lindsey comes back? What if something bad happens?" I asked. "You'll be safe, even if you think I'm not there, I am," he said.

"I'm always watching," he then got up and walked out the door. Kinda creepy that he said he is always watching but.. Whatever. I waved to him and he looked back and smiled.

I watched as he left. I went back into the hospital room and sat by Kacey's bed. She was sleeping and I grabbed her hand.

I smiled and laughed, "Gosh, our life is messed up."

Kacey stirred and she opened her eyes. She looked scared but saw me and calmed down.

"Remember anything yet?" I asked her. She shook her head. I sighed and told her that visiting hours were over so I had to leave. She nodded and kissed me on the cheek.

I was hoping for a kiss, but just a kiss on the cheek and her being ok was fine with me.

I smiled weakly and left. I went home and went into our room. I sat on the bed and looked at a picture of me and Kacey from our wedding day.

"I know you are here Kacey, but you just aren't the same person. I miss you so much, I want to be able to hold and kiss you. You not remembering me is the worst feeling in the world," I sighed and held on to the picture.

I felt a tear roll down my face. I put the picture down and sat back on my bed. I sighed and went to sleep.

Gosh, this day has been awful.
