*2 years later*

•Kacey's POV•
I smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror. My long white dress was on me perfectly and my veil was perfectly put on my head. That's right, I'm getting married to the one and only Lucas. My smile grew even bigger as I thought of the day he asked me to marry him.

*flashback starts*

"Kacey Hope Morrison, will you marry me?" Lucas asked. I felt tears in my eyes as I nodded speechless. Lucas's smile grew and he put the ring on my finger.

I kissed him and he kissed me. I pulled away and whispered, "I love you Lucas." Lucas smiled down at me and whispered back, "I love you Kacey."

*flashback ends*

We had been engaged for two years. We had wanted to finish school first and then we wanted to take a year to plan the wedding. I heard a noise and looked through the mirror at the door.

I saw my mom walk in and she stared at me from the door. I thought about how a couple of years ago we were in the same position but switched. I had been the one that was watching my mom as she was in her wedding dress. I turned around and smiled at my mom.

"Kacey, you look so beautiful," my mom whispered with tears in her eyes. I felt tears in my own eyes as I gave her a big hug. We stood there for a minute hugging each other until we heard the music start to play. "Well, it's time to go," mom said. I nodded and we walked out of the room.

I saw my dad and walked over to him. I gave him a big hug and he hugged me back. I watched as all of my bridesmaids, which included Lucy, my cousin Jane, and Lucas's cousin Marie walk down the aisle. I then watched my maid of honor, Lottie, walk down aisle. Then the flower girl went and my dad grabbed my arm.

I linked arms with him and we walked down the aisle. "You know, I'm very proud of the lady you have become," dad told me. I smiled up at him and said, "It's all because I had great parents to guide me." We reached where Lucas was standing and dad whispered in my ear, "I love you." I whispered back, "I love you too."

He let go of me and I grabbed on to Lucas's hands. We stood there looking into each other's eyes as the priest talked. Then it was time for us to say what we have wrote for our soon to be husband/wife. I went first.

"Lucas, I don't even know where to begin. It all started when you sat at my table at lunch. When you found George bullying me you rescued me. I was so thankful. We became best friends and then developed feelings for each other. We've been through thick and thin but have always managed to pull through. I don't know what I would do without you. I didn't know what I didn't have until I meet you. I love you so much Lucas. I will love you till the end of my days and I will love you with all of my heart. I love you," I said.

I saw Lucas had tears in his eyes and he smiled down at me. It was then his turn.

"Kacey, there's a saying that you don't know what you have until it's gone. Well, for me I didn't know what I didn't have until I gained it. When I saw you for the first time I knew you were different. When I found George bullying you I knew I had feelings for you. I had never hurt one of my best friends so badly for hurting a girl. When we started dating I was the happiest man alive. Like you said, we've been through thick and thin and have always managed to pull through. When you went missing because you were kidnapped I felt like half of me was gone. I knew in that moment that I needed to be with you for the rest of my life. I would take a bullet for you any day. I love you so much and will you love you until I die. I love you Kacey Hope Morrison," Lucas said.

I knew I had tears in my eyes because Lucas started to wipe them away. I heard people in the audience 'Aww' and I couldn't have been any happier. "Do you Kacey Hope Morrison take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?" The pope asked.

I smiled up at Lucas and said, "I do." Lucas's smile grew.
"And do you, Lucas Wallace Johnson take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, promising to love and to cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?" The pope asked.

Lucas smiled at me and said, "I do." "And now, by the power vested in me, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," the priest said. I looked up at Lucas with a ton of emotions running through me at once. I leaned in and kissed him. This was by far the best moment.

I pulled away and the priest said, "I present to you, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson!"

I looked up and smiled at Lucas. I was now Kacey Hope Morrison-Johnson. I grabbed Lucas's hand and we walked down the stairs. I thought of what my mom did on her wedding day so I yelled to all of the guests, "Now who's ready to party!"
