Third person point of view

"I heard it's your first time in Akita. Which member was the most excited to perform here?"

It's been two months since the tour began and they are now on their last stop, having another press conference before their concert the following day. 

"It's me~!" Ginka raises her hand enthusiastically and giggles, "I heard great things from my friends who live here! They actually wanted to tour me around for the longest time! I'm glad we were given such opportunity while also spending time with our precious galaxies~" 

"Our youngest is such a social butterfly, is she not?" The interviewer was amused by how adorable she was, wanting to squeeze those cheeks so badly. "You seem to have a lot of friends. I think you mentioned in a few of your press conferences weeks ago that you were also eager to visit them in those prefectures." 

"Oh, they're not that many as you think." Ginka places a hand behind her head and chuckles awkwardly, "They were friends that I met in Tokyo and all happened to part ways recently now that they're in high school." 

"Aw, they must be really happy that they can finally see you again." To which Ginka nods in agreement, as the feeling goes both ways. "How about Hoshi-chan, Tsuki-chan? Is there anything you're looking forward to in Akita?" 

"I enjoy festivals a lot, so I was really hoping to visit Kanto Matsuri!" Miku continues to explain how amused she was with the night parades and unique food, "But it's usually held during the summer, right? Maybe we would have another schedule here then~?" 

"Your fans would surely love to hear that!" 

"I can't believe you two haven't mentioned Kuroyu onsen yet." Yumemi playfully rolls her eyes, "Was I really the only so piped about it?" 

"I'm glad you've taken interest in them! The view is absolutely divine~" The interviewer nods proudly in approval, "It feels like you're bathed in miracle water. All my fatigue got washed off the moment I got out."

"Sounds like an everyday need." Miku could only laugh as a coping mechanism. That kind of relaxation sounds like a far-fetched dream. 

"It must be really exhausting. How are you guys balancing all those demands as an idol while also maintaining your health?"

"We don't~" Ginka answered almost by instinct as a joke. 

Only for Miku to joke around further, adding fuel to the fire. "We're literally the walking dead without layers of makeup."

They hate their company very much. 

"Please don't listen to their nonsense. These two simply have an odd sense of humor." The leader smiles as she tries to cover it up, pinching Miku from behind for making things worse. The interviewer glances at her as she winces subtly. 

"I guess you guys are severely overworked.." Well, anyone would be able to see that with how active they are on social media. It really didn't look like they were resting at all. "Though you must have a break after the tour, right~?" 

"Oh, we'll probably have our comeback before that! Crazy, right?" 

"You guys are already filming?!" 

The interviewer remains bewildered as the press conference goes on since they started giving teasers for their new album. The following questions asked were lighthearted and shortly, the camera stops rolling as they conclude the program. 

"I had sooo much fun today! I hope to see you again soon on a different show or something!" Ginka cheerfully shakes hands with the interviewer who is still surprised with the energy she still has left. "Or maybe even our concert! We'll make sure you have an amaazing time!" 

"It's really nice.. meeting you too." She still cannot help but be starstruck with her presence. Talk about star quality. "I will surely find a way to secure a ticket." And she made a new fan. 

"Really?! That makes me so--"

And before Ginka could finish her sentence, Yumemi force bows her head with one hand and apologizes. "Sorry for that~! Our youngest probably had too much sugar today. We'll be heading off now." 

"Thank you~!" The three of them bow to the staff before exiting the function room which was located at the hotel they were staying at.  

The security was tight so they didn't have to worry about fans mobbing them while walking by themselves. The moment the elevator closes upon entry, the three of them sigh in exhaustion. 

A cold air surrounds Yumemi as she leans back with her hands crossed. Ginka massages her cheeks, feeling sore with all those constant smiling she had to do from ear to ear. "Your switch ups never fail to amuse me."

"Please don't say it like that. I truly enjoy performing and interacting with our fans. I just happen not to have a naturally engaging personality that I.. tend to overdo it." She defends, not liking the idea that she appears ingenuine. 

Yumemi clicks her tongue in sarcasm, gaze drifting towards Miku. "Guess you would have to if you're not desirable enough for those weirdos. Must be nice not having that problem, huh?"

"Hey, what is that supposed to mean?" Judging by her tone, it hardly sounds like a compliment. 

"It's exactly what it is. You deadass get to do what you want and be liked anyway." The elevator door opens and they walk towards their room. 

"Well, there isn't fault in that.." Ginka chuckles awkwardly, hoping to relieve the tension. 

"Yeah, that's what makes it annoying." The fact that she doesn't have to try, and it was hard to refute that. Yumemi looks over to the strawberry blonde, "Oh, by the way. How did it go? Didn't you meet those guys from Yosen this morning?" 

"Indeed. Araki-san's daughter has gotten even lovelier than I saw last. I'm glad she still still recalls me especially how I have not seen her in a while." 

"No way! The coach? She has a daughter?" Miku chimes in shock, "Isn't she just in her mid-20's?"

"Goodness. Why the surprise? Is that not a common age to start a family?" 

"Besides, she's in her early 30's, you dingdong. Get it right." Yumemi bonks her head, tapping the key card on the lock as they reach the room. "She could very well now raise a toddler." 

"It's actually quite amusing that she has the opposite personality." Ginka shows a video of them playing with the child, "She is very fond of Himuro-nii." 

"Hah, look at her flimsy attempts on attacking Murasakibara-san." Yumemi laughs at the light punches behind the back as he was eating candy. 

"Yay, bed~!" Miku throws herself in, cuddling with the hotel pillow. 

"Shower first, you disgusting little thing!" 

And so, they all take turns with the bath. Ginka lets them go on first to go over her lines again. There's no way she would allow herself to screw up her vocals and dancing again now that they're at their last leg of their tour. 

"Miku-nee, which smile do you find most appealing?" The strawberry blonde looks over to her fellow member, attempting different ending poses. "Shall I go for the gummy smile? It is quite trendy with idols these days. It brings out that youthful cuteness, does it not?"

"Girl, you are gorgeous regardless." She chuckles as she sits down on the bed, drying her hair with the towel. It's already getting concerning how even little things like this bother her. "Don't sweat it too much. I'm sure your passion will reach them someday, you'll see." 

And that's when she started thinking.

What exactly was she passionate about? Was it really her career.. or merely their approval?

Ginka continues dancing on stage, masking that sad thought behind her smile. But perhaps.. That's the only way she would make it to the top, right where she could stand alongside them on equal ground.

She didn't have to be passionate with what she does. It was only what could come with it that really mattered.

So who cares if she's lying? She's good at it, and her charm could take her to greater heights. Ginka recognizes that very well.

🎶Flying like a shooting star, shining like a comet
One day I'm gonna shine like a sunny day 🎶

And this was only the beginning of it. 

"Kyaa!" 

"Seiun-chan, marry me!" 

"How dare you, she's mine!" 

Two hours had passed quickly and their final concert has ended. The three of them hold hands and bow to the crowd. 

"Thank you for all the support!" They say simultaneously which earned a loud cheer from the crowd.

Ginka's eyes wandered around the entire stadium filled with waves of light sticks. She finally made it.. tears start welling from her eyes. 

One step closer. And it seemed like just the right time. 

"I'm glad you guys had a wondrous night!" 

After hiding behind her stage name for two years, the fans jaws dropped at the sudden information that came after. The last member to reveal like a surprise attack..

"This is Asano Ginka, and we'll be seeing you guys again real soon~!"
