This whole page is dedicated to colour theory, which I hated. Here is where I learned I can't paint skin tones, and I'm not very good with acrylic paint.

As you can see, there's a verity of things going on here.

Here is the colour wheel, so you can see there's cool tones and warm tones.
Warm red and warm yellow create orange.
Cool yellow and cool blue create green.
Warm blue and cool red create purple.

In this image, we use the colour theory again, but we add more if the lighter colour. As you can see for the first one for example, I added more yellow to the blue until it was practically yellow. Adding lighter colours to the darker ones, slowly reverts it to the lighter colours.

Skin tones, this is were I learned I hated portraits and drawing/painting people.
I learned you had to start off with a red base and go from there, adding blues, and a bit of white, reds, yellows. But, you never add black, it's very rare. Why? Because, it makes your image a muddy colour.

Above is the reference image we used, the reason for this is because it had not very blended brush strokes to help us settle into painting.

We all had to paint the eye so, as you can see we blew up the image — which means you enlarge a section of the image you want to do.

Above is my piece, I tried to mimic the eye.
This is were I 100% learned, I can't paint, I can't do skin tones and I can't do portraits. I seriously struggle. My friend and I are terrible at it, and the other two were amazing.
