{Normal Pov}

Shadow sighed, walking into his house that he shared with his wonderful girlfriend, Amy Rose. They had been going out for quite a few months, 6 months to be exact. Shadow had changed in those 6 months as well. His violent side only showing when he, Amy, or any of his friends are in danger, his guns are only used for mission reasons since he works at G.U.N, he's just changed for the better thanks to Amy. He smiled, loosening the tie that was around his neck and taking off his shoes, placing them beside the door

"Rose I'm home!" Shadow called out, though he didn't get a reply. Confused, he made his way into the kitchen. He looked into the kitchen and no one was there

"Rose?" Shadow was slightly panicking. He was afraid something could have happened to the love of his life. In a rush, he ran upstairs to his and Amy's room to see Amy sitting on the bed looking at him. Shadow smiled, sighing in relief

"Oh my you had me scared! I thought something happened to you!" Shadow walked up to Amy to hug her, but was stopped by her holding out her hand

"What's wrong Rose?" Shadow questioned in confusion. Shadow then noticed that her eyes were red, probably from crying

"Don't 'Rose' me! You know what you did!" Amy screamed in sadness and slight anger. This only confused Shadow more

"What did I do?" He questioned. Amy held up a purple laced bra, which definitely didn't belong to her

"Why was Rouge's bra under our bed?" Amy questioned, tapping her foot

"I don't know!" Was all Shadow could think of saying. He was so confused. Rouge never would come over unless Amy was home, which was alright with Shadow, he didn't mind

"You don't know!? Sonic came over with Tails and when we came upstairs because Tails wanted his toolbox back that you had borrowed and Tails had seen it poking out from under the bed!" Amy hissed. Shadow was slightly shaking. He doesn't know how that bra ended up under there

"Rose I have no idea how that bra ended up under there I swear." Shadow tried to explain, but Amy wasn't listening

"I think we need to break up." Amy sighed, rubbing her forehead. Tears began to form in Shadow's eyes

"Please no..." Shadow felt his heart break, the tears in his eyes making their way down his face

"I'm gonna call Sonic and Tails and have them help me get my things. I can't believe you cheated on me and now you're gonna lie about it when you were caught." Amy sighed, pulling out her phone, trying hard to keep herself from crying, which was working. Shadow hiccuped and reached out for Amy, who looked away from him and walked towards the window. Shadow couldn't think of anything else to do, but walk out of the room and down the stairs to the kitchen, sitting at the table and placing his head on the table as he let the tears freely fall down his face...

(Time Skip)

"Well look who's really fucked up this time! The Ultimate Lifeform himself!" Shadow, who had by now stopped crying, looked up and slightly growled, seeing Sonic smirking evilly at him

"I didn't cheat on her..." Was all Shadow could say, clenching his fists from slight anger

"Yeah and Rouge's bra just ended up under you guys bed, or should I say your bed?" Sonic chuckled, Tails and Amy were upstairs packing. Shadow growled, keeping himself from launching at Sonic and attacking him. Tails and Amy then came downstairs, holding Amy's bags

"Here Amy. Let me help you." Sonic smirked at Shadow secretly and softly grabbed the bags out of Amy's hands

"Thank you Sonic..." Amy mumbled. Shadow wanted to say something, but he knew if he did, he would cause more trouble among himself

"Goodbye Shadow..." Amy stated as her, Sonic, and Tails walked out of the door, closing it. Shadow sighed, tears filling his eyes again as he laid his head back down on the table....

(A Few Months Later)

"Cream I don't think I'm ready to see Amy yet." Shadow said worryingly on the phone as he spoke to Cream, who was on speaker since they were videochatting, his friend sitting beside him, but couldn't be seen on camera

"Come on Shadow! I haven't seen the whole gang together in forever!" Cream whined, frowning slightly

"But Cream...Amy and Sonic are together. I'm gonna end up sad, angry, and maybe even depressed once again if I see them together..." Shadow sighed, rubbing his face, his friend laying their hand on his shoulder smiling at him, causing him to smile back

"Please Shadow....For me and everyone else at least. Ever since you and Amy broke up, we haven't seen you at all." Cream stated, which was true. Shadow never really left his house unless it was for work or it was to sometimes go to the store. Shadow then sighed, finally making his decision

"Okay fine. I'll be there at 5. I'm also inviting a friend. See you later Cream." Shadow smiled as he seen Cream smile big, a small squeal escaping her lips

"Thanks Shadow. And inviting a friend is fine by me. The more the merrier. Bai!" Cream waved, hanging up. Shadow sighed, leaning over to put his head on his friend's shoulder

"You know you never asked me if I even wanted to come with you, you idiot." The feminine voice filled his ears. Shadow smiled and sat back up, looking into her emerald green eyes

"Shut up Niesha!" Shadow chuckled, Niesha pushing him slightly with a chuckle of her own

"Forget you dude. Now come on. We gotta get dressed. It's already 4:23pm." Niesha poked him, getting up out of her seat on the couch and walking to her room. Shadow had met Niesha two months back at work. They were assigned to go on a mission together and they had agreed that they were an awesome team together so, after a few more missions, Shadow asked Niesha if she wanted to move out of her parents house and live with him in his spare room, which Niesha agreed to gratefully. Now they lived together, becoming best friends and just being stupid together

"Get up idiot!" Niesha shouted at Shadow

"Alright! Alright!" Shadow lazily got up, watching as Niesha walked into the living room dressed up nicely

"Nice outfit dummy." Shadow complemented. Niesha smiled and flipped him off, causing Shadow to laugh at her and walk to his room...

(With The Gang)

"I got Shadow to come over! And he's bringing a friend!" Cream cheered. Amy looked up at her, her words slightly hurting her heart for some odd reason. She was secretly excited to see Shadow again after so long, but at the same time didn't want to see him because he cheated on her

"Do you know what his friend's name is?" Blaze questioned. Cream shook her head

"I didn't get a look of them, but I do know that they were sitting beside him and he smiled at them." Cream replied

"I might be a new female friend of his. Like a new girlfriend or something." Silver said, shrugging at his answer

"Ha! Shadow dating after his break up with Amy? I highly doubt it." Sonic snickered. A knock was sounded at the door and Blaze got up to get it, revealing Knuckles and Rouge holding hands

"Hey guys!" Cream cheered, running over to the two and hugging them tightly, causing both the elders to hug back and smile

"Sup Cream. How have you been?" Rouge questioned, stepping into the house with Knuckles closing the door behind them both

"Good! I'm glad you and Knuckles could make it! It's been so long since we've seen you two!" Cream smiled. Amy hid her face into Sonic's shoulder, remembering that Shadow had cheated on her with Rouge, apparently

"Well all we're waiting for is Shadow and his friend. They should be on their way now." Cream stated as Knuckles and Rouge took a seat on the couch

"Shadow is bringing a friend with him? Shocking." Knuckles chuckled, putting his arm around Rouge's shoulder....

(With Shadow and Niesha)

"Tell me again why everyone at work think we're siblings?" Shadow looked down at the girl that was hugging his arm. She was only doing it to get on his nerves, but it ended up with Shadow not caring so she just decided to stay that way

"Well it's because we look alike a little bit. You are black with red streaks and I'm red with black tips. Think about it. We have the same color fur and the simple fact that we act like we're siblings." Niesha explained. Shadow nodded and looked forward, noticing that they were getting closer to Cream's house

"And explain why we decided to walk?" Shadow raised an eyebrow

"Because today is a beautiful day and we both enjoy walking instead of driving around." Niesha shrugged. Shadow smiled and pulled Niesha onto Cream's porch, knocking on the door slightly. After hearing a shout of 'They're here!', Cream opened the door and almost tackled Shadow into a hug, causing Shadow to chuckle and hug back, Niesha moving out of the way to make sure they had enough room to hug each other

"I've missed you!" Cream smiled. Shadow rubbed her back a little with a smile

"I've missed you too." Shadow replied honestly. Him and Cream pulled away from their hug and Niesha went back to hugging Shadow's arm. She really didn't like being around strangers

"You must be Shadow's friend! I'm Cream!" Cream smiled, holding out her hand to Niesha. Niesha nervously took her hand and smiled, shaking it

"H-Hi, I'm Niesha." She replied. Cream only smiled bigger, if that was possible and lead Shadow and Niesha into the house, Shadow closing the door as they walked into the house

"Guys! Shadow and his guest is here!" Cream called, leading Shadow and Niesha to the den, seeing everyone sitting in a circle

"Guys this is Niesha. Niesha this is everyone I guess." Cream giggled, sitting down. Niesha waved nervously and Shadow chuckled at her. He pulled her along with him and they sat down between Silver and Rouge

"Hey I have a question. Not trying to bring up bad times, but how did you and Shadow break up Amy?" Silver questioned. Nobody except Sonic and Tails knew about the break up and everyone was quite curious about what happened

"Shadow cheated on me with Rouge." Amy shrugged. Rouge and Knuckles quickly looked up

"When was this?" Rouge questioned

"Because Shadow and I have never hung out together. We only hung out when you were around or when Knuckles is around. We don't even text or call each other." Rouge stated, confused. Amy looked confused

"Then how did you bra end up under the bed?" Amy questioned. Rouge looked even more confused

"What the hell was my bra doing at your house?" Rouge asked. Sonic then walked back into the room and sat back down beside Amy. Niesha and Shadow sat there confused

"Oh hey Shadow! I see you have a friend with you or should I say girlfriend." Sonic pointed out. Somehow, Shadow and Niesha were thinking the same thing and nodded

"Her name is Niesha." Shadow stated as Niesha hid her face into his shoulder, causing Shadow to chuckle

"I didn't know you guys went out! That's so adorable!" Cream cheered. Niesha and Shadow awkwardly smiled...

(Later)

"Hey Amy? Do you think....we could talk for a minute?" Shadow tapped Amy on her shoulder. Amy nervously nodded, following Shadow as they walked outside into the backyard

"So what's up?" Amy questioned as her and Shadow sat down in the grass, Shadow coughing slightly

"You do know Niesha isn't my girlfriend right?" Shadow chuckled

"What?" Amy stated slightly shocked, only causing Shadow to chuckle again

"Yep. We're not going out. She's my best friend. I'm not gonna date her." Shadow replied with a smile. Amy couldn't say anything. Instead she just quietly sat there, looking up at the beautiful sky, the sun slightly behind a cloud

Shadow picked Amy up and started to spin her around a little, causing the small girl to laugh loudly and giggle

Shadow held Amy in his arms, a smile on his face as he felt Amy snuggle in his hold

"I love you Rose. You know I'd never cheat on you. The fact that you believed something like that instead of looking at the facts hurt me because you didn't believe me." Shadow told her, petting her quills. Amy started to slightly shake in his arms

"I-I'm sorry for jumping to conclusion. I love you too Shaddy. I've miss you." Amy whimpered. Shadow hugged his Rose tighter, feeling tears come into his eyes as he smiled

"I've missed you too, Rose." Shadow mumbled into her quills. Amy pulled away from their hug, to see Shadow crying. She felt tears fill her own eyes as she wiped his away

"Don't cry please? I'm here now. I'm with you." Amy told him. Shadow nodded, pulling Amy into a kiss. The rose colored hedgehog smiled and kissed back....

(With The Others)

"And they're back together." Sonic stated, dusting his hands

"Aren't you upset? Plus we did you lie about Shadow cheating?" Tails questioned

"Well I liked Amy, but when I noticed how Shadow started to barely hang around us, I felt as though it wasn't meant to be between Ames and I." Sonic explained

"But why use my name?" Rouge questioned

"Easy. Amy wasn't gonna believe it if it was Cream or Blaze, so I went with you." Sonic replied. Rouge opened her mouth to say something mean, but decided against it

"Smart."

(Back With Shadow & Amy)

"Should we go back to the gang?"

"Of course. Now we can announce that we're back together." Amy giggled as Shadow kissed her nose

"Okay Rose. Let's go." And the rekindled couple walked about into the house, hand in hand with smiles on their faces, happy to be reunited with each other.....
