Dear Melody

This is Mosta speaking. I believe you know me as well as I know you and it's an exceptional honor. :))

I've never thought that one day I would be able to meet the real YOU. I only thought you were a figment of my imagination. A bright spark of light that existed only in my head. And I thought I wasn't being realistic enough to think you were a real person...

But then I came to meet the REAL you, and I was rendered fascinated! Not because of your perfection, your impeccable attitude, or your pretty face, but because of how real, profound, and genuine you are. How pure your heart is. How selfless you are. I was fascinated by your determination and strength even when you believed you were weak and helpless. I admired your kindness and hard work to achieve what you wanted. I even admired your flaws. You have such amazing flaws, you know? XD

We're all imperfect. But your imperfections made you who you are and that's what I'm grateful to know. The REAL you. The honest you… With all the light and dark you possessed. And even when the dark is consuming you, you manage to spread light onto others and help them see past the darkest moments.

At some point, four years ago, I was losing confidence in what I was doing. My writing. My ideas. My abilities.  The purpose of whatever I was trying to do. But then you showed up and the light show started LOL. You cheered me up like no one else did and it was all honest and real that I couldn't help but want to know you more, hopefully all my life. 

You gave me confidence just by being who you are. Being YOU was the proof you are REAL! Can you imagine the joy of an author to realize their fictional character is actually a real person??? AND TO ACTUALLY BE FRIENDS WIH THEM?? It's an extraordinary feeling to have!

You are the personification of my dream, Melody. A wish that came true and helped me continue to do what I loved and you continued to inspire me through those past years. 

Sorry I'm making this about me when it's supposed to be about you, but I really was pleasantly affected by your existence. Your presence in my life helped me endure so much, even when I didn't share much about it. You're one of God's beautiful creations. And you , beautiful person, touched my life and my heart and hopefully the lives and hearts of millions in the future. 

Of course I didn't really create you, but you created a very colorful and dear spot in my heart that will always be there, reserved only for you. 

This is not any kind of flirtation of course, but you must know there are different faces of love that we experience through our lives, and friendship is one of the best of them. And Melody, you are one of the best friends I've met in my whole life. 

Today, I'm renewing my wishes for you to have a happy , prosperous and healthy life for many, many years to come. So until you're a hundred and fifty, have a lovely day, and enjoy the little things along with the great things God had planned for you.
