Kellyn wouldn't budge on info. Dawn had been trying for weeks to get him to answer her, but nothing was working. And he always left after his phone hummed. She growled when it hummed.

"Who is that?" No answer as he checked. He then answered, marking it as a call.

"Yes? Yeah. I'll be there. Don't be stupid before I get there. Bye." Then he hung up, grabbed a bag and left. Really...?

Thana and Ashley made appearances outside of the league. Ashley appeared at the League Conference, showing off her team and giving the winner their award. Thana appeared at the Kanto Contest Opening, showing off master level skills. They also made an appearance together, joking and teasing each other about things. The media took it all for the stories, and they played it well.

Iris hummed as she watched them. She might have to go see them in person. She didn't trust them.

When arriving, Delia greeted her.

"Ah, Iris. Nice to see you." She paused.

"You're running the gate?" She nodded.

"The League gave their condolences for Ash's death before offering me the job so that I wasn't lonely. Honestly, I'm glad I accepted. Here, I'll reach out to the league for you." Iris hummed as she grabbed the phone in her booth. "Champion Iris from Unova is here for a visit." She paused before smiling. "Of course." She hung up before pressing a button, which opened the gate. "Don't get lost on the way up." She smiled before heading up the mountain.

Once she got up there, she reached a second gate. This one wasn't closed, but it definitely marked where the league was. She gently called out.

"Hello?" A voice followed as 4 people came out from the end entrance.

"Iris!" Thana's sing-song voice echoed in the cave as she went over. Paolo, Massimo and Ashley joined her with smiles. Well, if there was a smile under Paolo's mask. She couldn't really tell. Massimo hummed as he spoke into the mic to be heard.

"We almost didn't expect you if you didn't have to go through Delia." She hummed before looking around.

"Where's Cailean?" Thana smiled.

"He has a job outside of the league. So unless we want to try and call him, he's busy." Massimo hummed.

"Cailean doesn't like us calling. He'd kill us if we reached out." They chuckled before Paolo spoke unexpectedly.

"What are you doing here, Iris?" She hummed.

"Just came to see how you guys were doing." There was a light look she didn't catch that Paolo shot at Ashley, but the Champion played it off well.

"Well, we're doing well." Interesting.

Ash sighed as he laid down next to Serena. Iris's unexpected visit had slightly altered their plans, but not by much.

"Hey Serena?" She hummed. "What would happen if we got caught?"

"I doubt they'll catch you. You are a king." He chuckled at her words. "But to be truthful, I think most of us will just drop the act. But we'll still guard and support you until we've won." He smiled as he rolled onto his side to look at her.

"What about you? If you get caught-" She smiled as she faced him.

"I'll still love you. In fact, I know my ways around the disguises. No one can split us up." He smiled as he kissed her on the head before they cuddled.
