According to the Committee, they had four trainers coming to try the league. They got changed and prepared for the group.

It was no surprise that Kellyn fell to all four. He got lucky with cutting half of the fourth's team, but it was foreseen that he would need training.

Serena actually held strong against them. The fourth was completely wiped out while the others managed to keep a good number of teammates against her.

Max had the advantage of prior pokemon knowledge. So even without training, he knew what he was doing. He took out the third member, the other two left with critical teams.

Paul was the monster before Ash. The first person was lucky to survive on one pokemon while the other person didn't get to see the end of Paul's team.

Ash gave them an equal challenge, his team easily tearing them down instead of falling to one. The league grouped up to thank them and congratulate them on their attempt before grouping up in the living cave.

"Ok, Kellyn, you need training."

"I understand. That was embarrassing."

Max stretched as Serena hummed. They looked over the results.

"I think Max will be good without training.

"Yeah, strategy really saved me from a power stance." Serena purred.

"I might try to incorporate my contest training into my battles." Paul nodded.

"It'll throw them off for sure. They get ready for heavy hits, but then get slammed by grace." Ash hummed.

"So then Kellyn just needs training." Kellyn hummed as Paul scoffed.

"I can do that. You guys focus on yours." They nodded at that.

Eventually, another trainer was willing to try them after training. Kellyn was able to last longer thanks to Paul's training. Serena's technique really threw the trainer off, so he had to change his strategy. Max's wits almost stopped the trainer if he didn't throw sheer damage. Then there's Paul.

We don't talk about that fight.

He didn't get to fight Ash by league standards, but the focus was on the leading trio, so they called it good enough for now.

"Alright! We've been posted! The other leagues will start noticing us." The others smiled at the news. Ash purred.

"Then we best be ready. The traitors will have people within. We have to be ready.
