Kabirvadra's guest chamber -

"Before our marriage got fixed I would like to have a word with your sister. Kabir was astonished and choked in his alcohol , when Vansh put forth his demand.

"I beg your apology Yuvraj, but this is against our protocol. Women , who belong to the Royal families, practices the the custom of  Purdah  here. You cannot meet her, or see her face, before marriage.Vansh arched his brow and smirked -"In my world , I don't follow any rules and protocols, For me I am the protocol and I , am the last word to be abided by ".
Kabir looked at him with widened eyes . The man sitting, infront of him , is shameless and obnoxious, He would have chopped off his head , if he would have been someone else .But Kabir was well aware, that Vansh was far more powerful than him,and now , He getting married to Ragini is the hour of the need
"I think that can be managed, interrupted Salya, Yuvraj , can have a conversation with our Rajkumari.... without seeing her . Maharaj, Salya looked at Kabir and said "Why don't we arrange a royal luncheon, on behalf of Rajkumari Ragini , and the conversation shall take place behind the curtains. Its not necessary to see her face while talking ".

  Vansh looked at Salya , and smiled , He was impressed at his prudence.
'There should be no one at that time , Maharaj KabirBhadra, I want to talk to your sister alone . She must know me , so do I , I am not a person ,who would impose himself on someone."

Ragini 's Bedchamber

This is the only opportunity we have , said Ragini, while pacing back and forth , in her room. We shall tell Yuvraj , about my relationship with Dhruva. It seems he would understand and broke the alliance. Riddhima , made Ragini sit , and untagled her wet hair , slowly. She said -
"Yes ,You are right , I heard that Yuvraj ,had given strict instructions,that there would be no one in the vicinity, except you and him.
Ragini stood up and made Riddhima, sit  near the dresser , and muttered -"It would be You , who would go instead of me. The man seems sensible and wise , Would it not be better , a like-minded person like you  ,would explain him the situation?
"But Rajkumari....Riddhima tried to protest , "How can I go, you are supposed to be his bethroted . It will be wrong .
Ragini smiled and said - "You ,there , should represent yourselves,as Rajkumari Ragini ,not Riddhama.  I don't have the courage Riddhima ,to face him and tell him the truth . Would you not do it for me ? It's only you , whom I could trust.
Riddhima looked on at her mistress . She was her bestfriend. But this was just a facade ,the reality was ,that she was her mistress, and Riddhama was just a chaperon.She sighed and recalled, How and why , she was indebted to all her just and unjust demand s. She , was not a person ,who would easily bow down to something unfair. But Ragini had a different place in her heart .  All her rationale and practicality,  gets washed away , when she saw , the crying face of this motherless girl .
"I will go " . replied she .
"Riddhama,I don't want to put you in trouble, but I really need your help I have no issue to admit it that . You are far more strong and intelligent, even if you don't belong to the royals, I can  trust only you .

They both hugged each other.  An hour later , Riddhima was transformed to a beautiful maiden , with all the royal clothes  and jewelries . She was  now ready , to go to meet Vansh , aided by Brijbasini and Ratnabali .

Mandakini's room

"Rudra , As Mandakini, served cavier  , and potato fingers,
to his brother , in her room ,commanded him,
"I want you to keep an eye on Ragini , a far . I think there is something secret brewing , between her and that Chaperon . I want  every tiny detail, of the things happening during the  luncheon .
"Your wish is my command , Didi , Rudra ,,finished his food , and took her leave . He didn't forget ,the insult ,he had to face, in the hands of Riddhama. He was frantically looking for a chance to teach her a lesson, and His inner crooked soul was signalling him, that this luncheon, could bring the opportunity to him.

The luncheon -

Besides being a consoiuer of sex and warcraft,Vansh was a typical food lover. When the authentic food was displayed  infront of him, He was impressed with  the manner it was served. It was a platter of five course meal. Ghee bhat, was in the middle of a broad round shaped plate made of silver. Dal, he could recognized immediately, but was quite surprised , to see the different  Fratters, There was bittergourd,potato, Brinjal and pumpkin. Those were prepared only by pure mustard oil, coated in gram flour. Then  there was a curry of mixed vegetable,and the other that was served   was known as Murighonto. If this was not enough,there was Mutton,Prawn curry, dipped in Coconut milk, Sour curd and  three different types of sweetmeat.
"Is it all? "Vansh  asked with an astonished gaze.
"Why Is not enough Yuvraj, I shall arrange more if you want, He could only heard a melodious voice, which he finds a little familiar.
"I think this is more than enough".He sat, after a maid helped him to wash her hands.
"I thought,you love eating ". said Riddhima chuckling.
'But I am certainly not a Rakshas, He rolled his eyes.
"You should start with Bittergourd, it may tastes bitter,but its a good appetizer.
Vansh was happy, that she was not a shy and timid girl, and was  talking quite freely,to him.Riddhima,on the other hand, totally forgot why was she there.
"I wanted to have a word with you, I mean, I wanted to know if you have any preference. Our marriage  might have been fixed by others, but I believe that the final choice should be made by us. That is you and me both, said Vansh as he started eating.
"You believe in Equality in Women?"asked she.
"Definately, said he, as he finished, eating the  first course. Riddhima was relieved, Now she can easily, tell him about Dhruva. He seems a gentleman, and his voice seems familiar too.
"Yuvraj I have something, very important  to tell you. Her tone was serious.
"Please go head, said he as he was relishing the mutton.
"I....but before she could start, a shadow passed from there, and Riddhima furrowed her eye brow,
'No one is supposed to be here, till the lunch is over ", Is someone,keeping an eye on them.
Sensing something foul, Riddhima requested him,
"Yuvraj, can you give me a minute? When he granted permission, she tiptoed, and follow the shadow, she couldn't  see anyone, but she was sanguine,that someone is keeping an eye of them. Sighing begrudgingly, she realized,that her chance to reveal about Dhruva and Ragini had missed. She cannot reveal it now.
When she returned, Vansh was having difficulty,to have the fish,
"Pass it to me Yuvraj, I shall segregate the flesh from the skull of the fish.
"She is quite unlikely as a princess", he murmered. He had not seen any princess,to be so upfront, confident and caring. Nonetheless, he was seemingly, getting attracted to her, even if her behavior didnt match to the royal ones, technically.
"Whoever had cooked this, is an amazing Chef"said he.
.Riddhima instantly blushed and said "You liked the food,I cooked it". The moment she blurted out the fact, she clicked her tongue, She should'nt   have forgotten, that queens and princesses doesn't cook".
"I never knew,that a princess would have a knack in cooking, said Vansh, as he licked his fingers.

"I specially made it as you are our honourable guest Yuvraj."said she.
"I am honoured indeed", smiled he. "

"Now you can tell me,what are your important things, while I would like to take a break, from this Marathon  food race."
What played, in her mind,she didn't knew, but a glint of mischief,played in her eyes.
"I have three conditions to lay, otherwise,it will not be possible  for me to marry you", said she, She wanted to test his patience and was eager to know, how much egoisitc he was !
"Thats sound novel, so the Rajkumari, wanted to lay condition, pls go ahead, I grant you that as u have impressed me by the food." said Vansh.
"I love dancing, I shall be allowed  to dance in private, after marriage.She knew,she had tickled his pride, as Kulbadhu of a royal dynasty,will never do that. Vansh 's jaws clenched at first, but he hid his expression, and said and

"what are the rest two conditions?"

" You will never mistrust or doubt me, and clarify things to me, before you took any decision."
"And the third one", he asked eagerly.
"You will not marry any other woman, and you will never have physical intimacy, with any other concubine, chapereons or any dancers."
Listenting to her conditions, He burst out into laughter, and said
"Are you seriously laying these condition, Do u want to marry me or you want to lock my life as a prisoner?"
Now Riddhima, was genuinely serious in her tone, as she asserted

'I am quite sanguine, about those conditions, its now up to you Yuvraj, you can certainly, refuse me....
"I grant all the three conditions of yours, "he cut her in the midway,and said in an equal manner of seriousness.
" I will never marry any  other woman, You will be permitted  to dance and finally, I will never mistrust you.but...he paused, I too have certain conditions, that I want you to accept.

Riddhima never knew, he would actually accept those conditions. She was sanguine, that he would definately resist the first and the third condition.
"What are your conditions,Yuvraj", she asked in a shaky tone.
"You will cook atleast one dish, for me everday,even if you are stopped, as you know, Women who belonged to princely class are not allowed to cook, you will manage to do that.

As you are liberated to dance, I want you to dance for me. My first condition, is,  it will be me, who will enjoy your cooking and dance in privacy"

.Riddhima gasped, as his tone sounded extremely possesive to her. Her heart felt a tingling sensation, a feeling,that was totally novel to her.
"You will never hide anything to me.you,will never betray me is what my second condition is." Riddhima's heart ached in pain, as she knew, that she had already done the same.Saying a yes,to the second condition would be a lie.
And thirdly, as he finished slurping the curd and gulping the sweets, Vansh smirked,
"As you clearly wanted to debar me, from having sex with other woman, I would like you, to satisfy  my all my sexual needs, Both as a wife as well as a seductress.do....Remember,I am a man of humaganous need, and it would be your duty, to do so.
Riddhima 's throat got parched, as she heard the last condition. Her core, automatically get wet, listening ,such a salacious condition.

"Who told you to do that with him, She cursed herself,for laying those condition.
"I...I....would send you mouth freshner shortly...She stood up hurriedly.
"You didnt answer my question....He asked with a amused smile in his lips.
"I agree to all your condition ",though  She was sure that ; nothing such would happen. She smacked her head inwardly, as she for the first time.could'nt fulfill Ragini 's expectation. What she was supposed to tell her now? She had did exactly  the opposite, what she was actually  was commanded to do.'
"I so wish I could see you Rajkumari". Her revrie broke as she could heard his voice, ladened with sensuality.
"For that you will have to wait Yuvraj".said she,knowing well, its not going to happen ever.
But what she never knew, was the fact that, their fate was sealed by the stars and the blessings of the Kamdev and Bramha.
