The Royal guest room

"It is an honour that You have arrived Rajan ! Manyabhum is grateful to you for your arrival. "Bhamini Devi came in front of Vansh with all the ingredients of Aarti  . She was a royal lady ,fair , lean , and pretty . A widow , devotee of Shiva . She had stark resemblance with Kabir "s facial features. She was Kabir and Ragini's paternal aunt . Cladded in a simple silk attire and silver jewellery , She had a family in  Mallabhum , a twin City of  Manyabhum . Motherless Ragini was her apple of eye . She sprinkle the holy Ganges water on Vansh 's head , and ask him to accept the warm glow that was illuminated from the enlightened earthen Lamp . The maids pour aromatic water on his feet and clean it off dry cloth.  Bhamini Devi pressed her right thumb engulfed with sindoor and ghee .  She smiled at him affectionately and said

"If Bhabisa would have been alive she would have been performing these homecoming rituals . Pls enter . Vansh touched her feet  and she blessed him affectionately. It was not the first time the King of Udaykhetra had arrived at Manyabhum, but still  there was hustle bustle everywhere . The maids and the guards were running here and there just to make sure that there was no mistake regarding his hospitality . Vansh , usually was the person who enjoys such things . But today he was unusually silent . VidyutBhadra will arrive tomorrow. 
Vansh was relieved that atleast Jagruki and Toral is with her .

A royal guest room was allocated for him . This was the biggest ,spacious and well decked up room of the entire palace .  There were big pillas , and walls were adorned with flower garlands .A huge patio garden to the right side was attached to  it .The bed was large  with milky white silk pillows .
the fiber of the canopy and the curtains were pure silk. Elegance and ecstasy was reflecting from the room .

   Vansh was the one who always appreciated such luxurious arrangements. But nothing seems enticing to him .Only thing he wanted to know was Where Riddhima was ?

"Arrange a bath for me " . He commanded.  

Two guards and maids  were there for his assistance. They were given strict instructions to be at his every Beck and Call .

"Certainly Rajan ! One of the guards ran outside, and  in no time there were five people present greeting and saluting him. They run inside to fix the bathroom.

There was a small room adjacent to the main room . It was the exclusive bathroom chamber that was allocated for the King and Queen . A huge bathtub made up of  Ivory was placed in the middle with the walls guarded with vetiver curtains to prevent heat .  Different kinds of aromatic liquid soap , oil , bath solution,  A silver bucket with a mug were also there for assistance.  Finally a glad smile appeared on his lips . The bathroom chamber was beautiful and moreover it was private . No one will be able to disturb him and Riddhima ,as they can spend hours here .

The maids filled cool water and crushed flower petals in the bathtub,and waited for his next instructions.

"You all can go. I will bathe by my own " he commanded.

The maids and the servants disappeared magically.

Riddhima"s common maid  chamber

"There is so much to catch up " . Tell us how was your experience in Udaykhetra. Gargi ,a new maid, giggled . As she was about to help Riddhima to shed off her jewelry .

"Why are you wearing so much jewellery as if you are the queen? If the maids are given so much .I wonder how exotic the queen's jewellery would be blabbered Gargi !   .

"How dare you call her a maid "! Toral snapped at her . She did not understand why their Ramisaye would stay with them in the common maid chamber .

"Toral calm down ! intervened Riddhima . Pls come here . Jagruki!

The other maid was astonished how immediately they abide  Riddhima 's command .

" Don't call me Ranisaye  here ! She tried to explain .

"Why are you saying please to us ". Jagruki dazed .

"How can we take your name "? If Rajaasaye ever came to know it , He would have chopped off our heads . Toral whined in anticipation.

The poor fellows were still unaware of the bride swapping incident.

Toral and Jagruki obediently listen to her , Riddhima felt bad to lie to them . But as of now she had no option.

Let's go to the pond and have a bathe ."!

Toral and Jagruki gave a horrified look to her and yell

Darshana was taken aback with their reactions.

"Why ?" She asked in a dazed tone .

" How can she bathe in a  common pond that is meant for the public . Toral almost screamed in disdain.

"Why can't she "? Yajura asked as she helped another maid to tie her bralette .

"Because Ranisaye will not appreciate it ". Riddhima managed the situation.

Princess Ragini doesn't allow her maids to bathe in  common ponds . In Udaykhetra we bathe in private .

"Can you please arrange a private bath for her?" Jagruki asked carefully.

We three will bathe privately asserted Riddhima, indicating both Jagruki and Toral not to make a fuss of it .

The royal bathroom

Vansh leaned and stretched his body in the bathtub, and started applying  sandalwood paste , honey and oil .  A pair of soft hands started massaging his scalp .

"So you finally have got the time to meet me "! He said, His eyes were closed in pure bliss.

"I beg your apology Rajaasaye" . She cooed .

"Your apology is not accepted Ranisaye … ".

Were were you all the time …and why are you not here with me? He demanded.

"I went to meet my friends . We had so much to catch up …Do you know…She was about to narrate something enthusiastically.

"Then why don't you go to them only". He tried to jerk off her hands .

Riddhima giggled,as she kept massaging his scalp .

She was at once brought in his lap, almost straddling, splashing the water in the bathtub. Vansh pulled a fistful of hair gently, and started sucking her lips aggressively . "This is not true …Rajasaye …I tried hard to come to you but my friends and the other maids were not letting me ... said Riddhima apologetically.

As she changed to something comfortable from her bathing outfit . Toral by her usual habit handed her over her Mangalsutra and sindoor .

"What are you doing  " ? Jagruki yelled at her . She immediately made her wear a heavy choker ,under which the thin thread of Mangalsutra got hidden. She made her wear a mang tika to hide her sindoor .

Yajura , Darshana and the other maids were also whispering their doubts and suspicion among each other

Yajura - Why these two girls Jagruki and Toral are behaving with Riddhima as if she is their mistress . They always stand infront of her lowering their heads ,run haywire ,the moment she asks for anything n

Gargi - As if she is the queen!

Darshana - I have also find them unusual. Riddhima is not mixing up with us as she used to do earlier .

Yajura - She always used to take upper hand and behaved like a manager to us.  She was never our friend. It was always Princess Ragini she had liked to spend time with .

Darshana - Why did Princess Ragini return before her . What was she doing in the palace? ?

There were innumerable questions that were hovering in their mind .But they didn't dared to question her back.

Gargi murmured - Never for once she had gone to meet Rajkumari Ragini . Is everything alright?

Who are we to decide it . Since she had gone Ratna had been working as our chief , quipped Aruna , who was  quite not fond of Ratna , the new chiefstan appointed by Mandakini .

I think we should inform Ratna . Yajura stood up and went away. She was the only one who was admired by Mandakini other than Ratna .

Toral can you bring some water and food  for me ..Sensing her burning curiosity, Riddhima send her off for atleast fifteen minutes.

The room was empty , and there was no one except her and Jagruki …

Close the door Jagruki .. ordered Riddhima.

Jagruki was shocked and dumbfounded to hear the entire truth. Riddhima knew the risk she had taken but there was no option left to her . She contemplated how Rajasaye would react if she had revealed the truth.

Like a true friend and assistant, Jagruki promised her to be with her through thick and thin .

While they were talking ,the guard huffed and entered without taking any permission.

Riddhima ! he yelled …Go and meet The king of Udaykhetra now ! He had summoned your presence.

Looking at her condition, both the ladies understood that the inner beast of the king had enraged.

I cannot go now Jagruki … in this broad daylight…You will have to manage the situation.

Me !! Jagruki..gulped a lump.

I can order you like a queen but I will not do that said Riddhima… I am requesting you as a friend .

One hour later

Ragini 's bedchamber

I want to meet Rajkumari Ragini . Riddhima exclaimed her wish to Ratna … Many things have changed during this one month . Riddhima was quite surprised to see that Mandakini had strengthened her foot in the palace more . Ratna who used to speak so less is now talking with others in a commanding tone .

Rajkumari is unwell. She said she cannot meet anyone. I cannot allow you to disturb her .

But at least let me meet her and ask about her well being .

"She had strictly said that she doesn't want to meet anyone." Ratna dismissed her off as if she was a fly floating in milk . Riddhima realized the fact ,that Ragini was deliberately avoiding meeting her. Her soft soothing face contorted hard and a twisted smile played in her lips . She murmured

How will you avoid me during the ritual of Rabibhog Rajkumari ? If you don't meet me willfully I will make the situation in my favour .

Vansh was pacing back and forth angrily. Riddhima still didn't come to meet her . He was feeling tired but sleep was miles away from his eyes .

Rajasaye ! Jagruki peeked behind the curtain.

"What are you doing here ?  Where is your Ranisaye….

He growled.

Didn't she got the news that I had summoned her presence?

Yes she has ! Jagruki handled the situation calmly ..
She has sent me to inform you ,she will come to meet you in the evening when all the members of the palace will be busy in  Sandhya Aarti of Mahakal in the temple . She said it's a promise .

Vansh closed her eyes and said

"Tell her that if she doesn't keep her promise. I will break mine " Leave !

Nodding her head , Jagruki, ran away from his sight.

Riddhima confronts Ragini while cooking Ranibhog .  Vansh met  Riddhima .  Vansh met his little friend Supriti  . Ragini plays a vile move to tarnish Riddhima 's image . Vansh is livid at Bhamini and Ragini.
