Nandavadra "s Bedchamber 

"Will you really send her to Srikhetra...she is your wifeVansh , she will be the queen in future .She doesn't even get formally introduced to the people of Udaykhetra officially.

Nanda tried to reason with him. He was pacing back and forth restlessly to calm his nerves down. Nanda could understand his inner turmoil and tried to counsel him.

"Have you ever thought about the impact of your decision on the minds of the people? They are eagerly waiting for the special day when they will meet their new queen"

.Nanda sat near Vansh and tried to make him understand. 

"I thought Riddhima would be an intelligent girl. But she has shown the audacity to defy the orders of the king. She kept contact with Meenakshi and Satkshi, despite my repeated warnings". 

He nodded his head in exasperation.

Vansh was still livid at poor Riddhima. 

"She almost took the risk of losing her life, she unknowingly dragged your child in this. I cannot take the risk of others' lives anymore.".

"Now you are not being reasonable, Vansh ".Nanda scolded  him.

"She is still  unaware of a large part of your past. Why aren't you telling her the truth? 

 It means she still  couldn't gain your trust. You want to know all the truth about her  but on the contrary,  you don't want to tell your own. Is it very fair? As a wife she deserves to know the truth.Doesn't she? "

"She deserves punishment on the charge of defying the King  's order.."  Vansh stood up and declared his final word.

Why is this lad so stubborn? He is hell  bent on ruining his own love and marriage. Nanda sighed with great disappointment.

Trilochani Devi 's  bed chamber 

'At your request, I put my daughters at risk. Sulochoni devi barged into her mother -in -law "s bedchamber.Why did you put my children in danger?"

She demanded

"Now why  are you blaming me  for all this fiasco? How dare you enter my room without any permission?" Trilochani devi snapped at her daughter -in -law.

" Didn't  you have any such  intention...?  Was it  not you who wanted to  take away his wife from the life of Vansh? 

How dare you give her the poison to mix it  in Nanda's food?"

Trilochani devi growled at her.

"I thought that if Nanda's child would have  died of poisoning, your grandson would push that maiden's daughter away from this palace,or he might chopped her head off for killing an unborn."said Sulachoni huffing.

Great! What a great,  intelligent person  you are ! I asked your assistance to ruin that girl's life. I did not ask you to kill my granddaughter.Trilochani snapped back.

"I went against Vansh   and called just for this reason.Do you really think  Is there any other reason for me to have a relationship with you?" she growled.

"I don't know anything….You should make arrangements to rescue my daughters! "

Sulochani devi snarled at her mother-in -law.

"I cannot do anything now. You should have thought this before.  Your daughters tried to kill the crown princess of this kingdom. Now only she could exempt your daughters from the punishment."

Riddhima's bed chamber 

Riddhima, with a heavy heart, started packing her belongings. Tears kept falling from her eyes, as she put her clothes in her trunk. She deliberately asked Jagruki and other maids to accompany her in packing.
You became so angry that you did not come to the room last night. And you dont  worry, I will be leaving this palace tomorrow. You will not have to tolerate me anymore

Sulochani Devi seeks to meet you Ranisaye...Jagruki informed  Riddhima.

"Shall i stay with you?" 

Riddhima smiled fondly 

"No you wait outside and let her enter."

Moments earlier, She was crying ;but now her face turned hard as a stone.

"What do you want?"  She asked pinpointedly.

"I want you to ask you to get my  daughters free. "

There was no ounce of shame and guilt in Sulochani "s  voice.

"Dont you have shame?"

  Riddhima snapped back at her.

" You tried to kill  an innocent unborn, your daughters made repeated attempt to kill me, the crown princess, and you still have the audacity to ask for your daughters' liberation? 

How dare you?."

"You have no idea what I am capable of."

Sulochani devi smirked .

"Thank your star that I am requesting you,  just because you still hold the position. I am ordering you to make my daughters exempted from the prison."

"I will not do any such thing, rather I will put you behind the bars, for attempting a foeticide."Riddhima was seething in anger.

"I did exactly what I was supposed to do. Vansh killed my husband and snatched my love away. I did the same with him. From tomorrow there will be no Riddhima in his life. Yes,It is true that I couldn't kill you but you anyway will not be in his life. "

She laughed wickedly.

"Why are you blaming my husband,for the thing he had not done?  

You are lying. He never killed your husband, if this would have happened,he would have never allowed you to stay alive as well.'Riddhima reasoned her statement.

 "You are an intelligent girl, I must admit, but as of now, you are too much clouded by the love of your husband. If you truly have the nerve  riddhima, Ask him whether he really had killed   my husband or not."

Feeding enough venom in her brain Sulochani Devi dashed out from her room, keeping her dumbfounded.

Vansh "s secret chamber -Night

"I apologize Ranisaye'' .The guard hung his head low. 
"But no one, even you…the wife of the king,is allowed to enter the room."

What is so secretive in this room, that I can't go there. By the way, I have already got the punishment of exile for breaking the rules. So, 

What could be worse than this?thought Riddhima mentally.

Ignoring the words of the guards, royally, she tiptoed in the room.

There was pindrop silence all over the room.

Not even a single torch  was not burning in the room..

 Why is there so much darkness in this room? And where is Rajasaye? She murmured confusingly.

She stepped more towards the interior of the room, as she could hear a faint sound of slapping.

She found  some earthen lamps enlightened in different corners of the room creating a halloween  effect of orange and yellow tinge.

The next scene she witnessed shook her to the core.

"Rajasaye"! She screamed, as if she had seen a most dreadful scene near him.

Vansh was standing  in the centre of the room along with a whip in his hand. He constantly was whipping the back of his body. Pressing his lips tightly,he kept beating   himself,until Riddhima held his hand to stop him.

"Have you gone crazy Rajasaye? What are you doing?"

Riddhima yelled at him .

"How dare you enter my private chamber. Don't you know no one is allowed to come into this room."

Vansh growled at her.

" I thought I would break the rule one last time."she said.

"What do you want, Riddhima "?he asked in a glaring tone.

"Justice ".She replied.

"Justice? What unjust and unfair had happened to you? "

He arched his brow and looked intensely at her.

Riddhima came face to face of her husband, and asked,

"Have you ever told me that your aunt and your own cousins  are so dangerous..that  they could  be a threat to our family? Have you ever cautioned me against them? Is this not unfair to me?"

"Was my command not enough for you?'

he questioned back.

"Is there no  difference between me and the common people? Is it  not my right to know about your family? What would have happened if I had mixed that poison in Didi saye"s food. 

On one hand you want to entrust me with the responsibility of the inner palace and on the other hand you hide the truth from us..is it anyway fair Rajasaye?"

 She affirmed her statement.

" Oh so you are  teaching me what to do or what not?"
He taunts.

"I am just saying…Things would not have turned so sour if you had told me the truth about your family. But fair enough! I presumed,''you couldn't trust me and that's the reason you hide from me"?.

she concluded in a sad tone.

"You are accusing me of keeping secrets?.Do you trust me and have you told me why you switched places with Princess Ragini?"

He said 

"No I didn't. But I did tell you the reason for not telling the truth. I asked for time from you. Can you deny that you have sent spies to find out Rajkumari"S whereabouts  "

. Riddhima asked boldly

"Who fed this information to you….Kakisaye"

! Vansh laughed.

"And as usual you trusted her more than me… "

"Don't I even have the right to ask you a question? 

"Do I  have any right to your life?" 

her tone was full of sadness.

Which right of yours has been denied? And when?

"Didn't  I take you to Guruji's Ashram? Didn't I confer the duty of the crown princess,while Nanda conceived her child? It's you who always sets the Menu in the kitchen. It's you who rotates the duty of the chaperones and maids. It's always who has the charge of the temple and authority to distribute the Bhog. Vansh counted one by one."He counted one by one.

"But was it not you who asked me to be exempted from the duties yesterday. She snapped back.

"I was angry at you"

. He yelled.

"No one questions me like this Ranisaye. But think how much high a place you have in my heart that you are daring to question me."

"Why did you send a spy behind Rajkumari Ragini. Why can't you trust me?  Do you want me to be a sinner by breaking a promise? Are you not aware of Raghukul Reet ". Tears trickled down from her eyes. 

 Vansh strode faster to her and pinned her to the wall. 

"I sent the spies to know the truth so that If I ever found you or Ragini in trouble. I can render a helping hand to you.Both of you are such a fool. Why didn't you inform me beforehand if there was an issue?'

He growled.

" I did send a letter,but probably it was misplaced.. '' replied Riddhima. 

"I didn't get any letter'

. confirmed Vansh.

"I know " Rajkumari Ragini took the promise after that letter fiasco. She was scared and anxious. And I give in to her demand ". revealed Riddhima.

Vansh 's eyes softened to hear her truthful version.

He  cupped her face in both hands and said ,

"I will not ask you about it anymore. I will wait till you feel free to tell me about it." 

"If it was about me I would have told everything long back. I am your wife. I love you and I have nothing in my heart that I cannot tell you. You are the only one whom I claim as my own. " Riddhima touched his bare shoulder and he hissed in pain

"Why did you hurt yourself like this?. "

She caressed her wounds, as her eyes brimmed in tears.

"To forget the wounds and the scars that I enlivened for past 20 years. 

When I whip myself like this It does not allow me to feel the pain whose burden I have carried within my heart since I lost my father  Riddhima! No one except Guruji and vidyut knew this.

When fighting skills, meditation or Kumbhak do not work, then it keeps me away from those nightmares."

"You claimed just now, that you have bestowed all the rights of a wife and a queen on me..But you never told me about this. How may I suppose to claim that You trust me."

She cried.

"Its not like that Ranisaye ".

He kissed her forehead lovingly.

'You are too little to understand…'

'I know I am 10 years younger than you…but that evidently can not be a reason for you not to share things. 

Before becoming a queen, I am an ardhangini of yours... the ways you adopted to reduce your pain before marriage, now  promise me you will  not give yourself such trouble ever again.

People misguide me about  you. They have the audacity to call you a murderer. How am I supposed to shut them if you don't share things with me"

. Her eyes got misted with tears, as she tightly hugged him.

"Who said this to you?" Kakisaye?" He asked.

"I didn't trust her.I know she was trying to manipulate me against you ". she said as she nuzzled her chin on his chest.

"When that woman lied, you trusted her, a truth she told you...You didn't believe her. This is why I never wanted you to make a part of my darkness" Vansh said ruffling her hair 

"You killed your uncle?".She was shocked .

"Yes" He said 

"King Dhavaldev!My dearest uncle!  Dhawal means white... but the man literally  played Holi with blood. 

Sexual harassment of children, rape of girls, destruction of killing on the battlefield, the man has done everything. But in front of my father he had  always pretended to be a dedicated and affectionate brother.! My father never understood his true form."

"How is it possible that your  father never  knew that?"she asked.

"No Riddhima!he was never aware of it.My  uncle ruled Shri Kshetra which was the cardinal south of Udaykhetra and was the farthest of all kingdoms. Now it has been transformed into  Guruji's Ashram. No one practised non violence there."

"My uncle  was an epitome of cruelty and debauchery. But I never knew his true colors till that fateful day .

Can you believe I enjoyed the colors of my childhood under his care and affection. I never knew all his love was a lie and farce."

Riddhima made Vansh lie on her lap, as she caressed his hair. 

"When my father came to know of his real self, he went to Srikhetra".

"Didn't Kakisaye know about it?.Why didn't she stop her husband"

. Riddhima asked him innocently.

"All she cared about was the wealth and jewels that he plundered unethically. The lady has no morals, no love and no humanity. A perfect soulmate of my so-called Uncle.

He initiated a blood bath and killed my father. I was only 15 then,lost my mother a few months ago, I saw the man chop off my father's head, so that he could be the sovereign ruler of Udaykhetra. He never considered me as his contender, I was a minor then. He underestimated me, Riddhima!"

Vansh  got up from her lap and stood up. His eyes were blazing like a fireball.  He turned to his wife and she shuddered for once looking at him. 

"I strangled his neck with my bare hand, when he was making merry with his concubines, drinking,and celebrating his victory. I chopped his head off and hung it on a banyan tree for 7 days to show people what I do with betrayers.

My hands didn't shake for an ounce to kill that man. I took the charge and declared myself as the ruler,smearing the blood of that man on my forehead. "

"Yes I killed him. Because I believe 

Sinners like them should be trampled to death."

I am the almighty here Ranisaye! But you know what the blood shed the darkness and those nightmares still haunted me,till date. "

Riddhima wiped  her tears and came forward to her husband. 

"I am proud of you. You did exactly what a child should do for his father,a prince should do for their subjects. '

When I married you, I was scared of you. "

She cupped his face, standing on his toe. Then I fell in love with you. She kissed his forehead. From today I will respect you. " She smashed her lips to him.

She sucked his lips, as she quench  her thirst. Gripping his shoulders,she kept sucking the dryness of his lips. Vansh was impressed, content and happy. He grabbed her waist, as he kept sucking the nectar of her lips.

Rajasaye….She murmured. 

"Arya or Aryaputra. from now on you will endear me as your husband.you are special and you should have the exclusive right. "

Few hours later 

Riddhima tenderly smeared the Sandalwood -turmeric paste on his wound. Her heart ached to see the red blemishes of the whiplash.

Two drops of warm water fell on his back. Vansh tried to turn around,but she held her gently.

"You are not allowed to change your side. The queen is very very angry with you ". 

" Riddhima!    Oh stop crying! I am habituated with deeper and deadlier  scars   on my body. "

"But i will never want to be habituated with any pain inflicted upon you. Remember you promised me you will never whip yourself like this."

Vansh sighed 

"If you keep loving and pampering me like this I will dare not think of pulling such a stunt My love! '

Riddhima kissed his back and said 

S"leep Arya! You need it."

"I wish I could make love to you. Vansh sighed, as if he was very frustrated.

"Arya!"  She blushed heavily. 

At Least let me sleep on your lap "!  

Riddhima set the pillow properly, and let him sleep on his lap facing his back, keeping a check on the medicine she had applied just now. 

Morning 

Riddhima woke up first and smiled at his peaceful sleepy face. 

She slid  his body properly and tried to get off the mattress.

"Where do you think you are going "?.he said, as his eyes were  opened without an ounce of sleep.

Don't you sleep? She kissed his temple and beard.

"Where are you going?" 

"I have lots of packing to do. Am I not leaving the kingdom forever?"

Riddhima feigned a hurt look and smiled playfully.

Vansh immediately pinned her to the mattress and held her hand to either side. Tickling his beard to her belly button.

"Dare you utter a word, you naughty girl  i am gonna make you sore you for a week ".

"Wasn't it my king who wanted the same?" She asked, ruffling his hair. 

'Its your husband who will not let you go "..,.And incidentally he is the king. '

Vansh tickled her belly and waist. Riddhima burst out in a giggle.

"Mat kariye Arya…mujhe bohot gudgudi hoti hai "....( Pls dont do this It feels so ticklish)

"Yeh saza hai tumhari…
(This is your punishment ) .Vansh laughed and kept tickling her.  Before they could drown in their pool of desires. She was interrupted.

"Ranisaye!" Jagruki made an appearance outside. 

 Riddhima heavily blushed and finally got rid of his clutches. She was tying 

her corset loosely. Her heavy boobs were on display to his eyes. 

"Order her to come later….and come to me "

Vansh  eyes were full of lust and desire.

Riddhima bit her lips and crawled to him like a kitten.She was feeling equally craved to enjoy his touch

He pulled her in his lap and groped both her boobs.
