Two months pass...

                        I am happier than I was. I've started doing things for myself. I started working out again, started a pottery class, balancing my time with my friends, & even managed to get me a dog.

            "Yoona, here girl !" I called my cute shiba inu from the elevator as I unlocked my door. I often took Yoona on my runs or to the gym with me. I clicked my voice machine to check messages while I gave Yoona her food & water.

                         The first message was from Yeonjun. "Still on for lunch ? You're fifteen minutes late." I could hear the playful tone in his voice. Shortly the next message played. This message was from Kai. "Still coming Friday ? I want your opinion." I chuckled to myself. Kai was going to show us his art gallery before he opened it. He was a bit nervous.

       Soobin' message was next. "Since I am out of town at my seminar, can you please swing by my place ? Clean up some if you need to, yeah ?" Soobin was a motivational icon for teens & even wrote a book called, "The Mentality Of The Modern Era: For Teens".

             I washed up & quickly went to meet Yeonjun. "What took you so long, hmm ?" I laughed. "Waiting to see if you were cast yet ?" Yeonjun was an actor, after all. "Have a plus one for the wedding ?" I sighed. This was always asked. I think everyone is concerned that I won't talk about what I felt two months ago. "Not really. Not that I need one."

                     Yeonjun gave a smile. "I can't believe Beomgyu is going to be married next month. How do you feel ?" I still didn't like Eunjin, but Beomgyu' choices weren't mine to interfere with. I loved him too much to ruin anything. "I don't feel anything. It's Beomgyu' life. Who am I to interfere ?"

                On my way home I stopped by to water Soobin' succulent & clean up some while he was away. Yoona excited nipped at my feet when I came home. I picked her up, "missed me, huh ?" I picked a shibu inu because I heard they were really cute & loyal dogs.

            I took Yuna out for a walk. While out with Yoona I came across Eunjin. She was talking with some man & her face was tear stained. Who was the man & why did she look so upset ? I called Beomgyu. "Where are you right now ?" Beomgyu answered rather slowly. He sounded tired. "Home. Why ?" I didn't tell him what I saw, but I want to see him. "Can I come over tonight ?"

              I was worried about him honestly. He literally got married next month. "Of course. See you in twenty ?" I didn't see him often anyways. "On my way." I opted to just bring Yoona with me to Beomgyu' house.

                    Upon entering I hugged him. I fixed his hair some as well. "Why do you look so exhausted ?" Beomgyu laughed handing me a glass of water. "Eunjin is a few weeks pregnant." I coughed covering my mouth. "Where is Eunjin now ?"

         Beomgyu sighed, "I haven't seen her since her first doctor' appointment about the pregnancy." I gave a smile, "you're happy, right ? You wouldn't be making yourself marry her because you feel like you should now, right ?" Beomgyu' expression grew really cold. "Just say it, Taehyun. I'm not playing these games with you."

                    Why did he think I was trying to hurt him ? What has he been thinking these past two months ? "I'm not playing any game, Beomgyu. I wouldn't do that to you." He rolled his eyes. "You've been against Eunjin since the day you learned I was engaged to her. Why wouldn't I think you're trying to ruin things ?"

                   My eyes filled up with tears. "Is that what you think ? That I am so selfish as to make up lies ?" Beomgyu sighed, "so no part of you wants to break my engagement ?" Why was he acting like this ? "Why are you being like this ? I would never put my emotions above your happiness."

          It saddened me that he felt this way. Like I would try to ruin his life. No matter how I felt, I loved him way too much to do something like that. Maybe he just is exhausted & paranoid. "How about we promise each other something ?"

               Beomgyu gave an apologetic look. "What dis you have in mind ?" I grabbed his hand. "We rebuild our bond & talk everyday. Regain each other' trust before you get married. What do you say ?"

               He apologized. By now we were both in tears. "I'd like that. I missed you, Taehyun." After that the room filled with.
comfortable silence, our sniffling, & Yoona' tiny paws moving across the floor.
