Chapter Eleven

A/n I am so sorry for the late update! My writers block was really killing me... This chapter probably won't be the best chapter I've written, but I still hope you enjoy it!
I kind of rushed certain parts because I genuinely had no idea how I could get my point across without it being choppy and weird...

Hinata growled, his counterpart growing bored. It was Sunday and he agreed to meet up with Kageyama, but he didn't really want to. For two days, he didn't kill, so he would have to deal with another boring day, which he could've if not for a specific realization on the other's part.

Their secret had been found out.

Now Hinata never really thought of his counterpart as another person, rather just a part he was ashamed for having. It was like a high, he enjoyed having for the time being, but once it was over, reality went to kick him in the face. He acted differently, but in a way, he was the same, because of that he never thought of himself as two people, rather just one with a regrettable quality.

On the other hand, Hinata was excited! He couldn't wait for the clock to read 2:30pm, the time they agreed to meet up at. He was so excited he woke up at six in the morning, took a morning jog around to block, and then worked on his jumping skills, as well as his receives. When he was done, the clock read 7:48 am. He sighed, waiting impatiently.

"Shouyou!" His mother called out.

"Yes?" His mother gestured for him to come in. "What is it?"

"Can you wake Natsu up for breakfast?" Hinata shouted an 'okay,' and ran up the stairs. He opened the door and found his sleeping sister.

'She's sleeping so soundly.'

'Well that's disappointing.'

He pouted at himself. 'Rude.'

He walked on over to his sister and nudged her a few times to wake her up. "Natsu!" He whispered as loud as he could, straining his voice.

'That's stupid. No sense in whispering if you're going to be loud.'

Hinata shrugged at himself and huffed. "Natsu!" He tried again, only this time he didn't whisper. His younger sister rolled over a couple times before she opened her eyes.

"Hmm... what?" She slowly got up before Hinata gleamed a smile.

"Wakey wakey! Time for breakfast!" Natsu almost flinched when he noticed her brother, but she smiled.

"Okay..." She rubbed her eyes and got up. "What'd mom make?" Hinata thought as he tried to remember what he saw.

"Um, ah! Egg-rice*! Mom even put out the ume**! Come on, let's eat!" He put on a bright smile before he walked out, seeing his sister getting out of bed. He was definitely excited to eat, though he didn't really know why. Maybe it was because he was going to meet Kageyama soon? Once Natsu got to the table, they both said their thanks, and ate their food.

He took his last bite and put his rice bowl down. He set his chopsticks down and put his hands together.

"Thank you for the food." He put his dishes away and dashed off into his room. He quickly changed and rushed to get out. It was still early, very early if anything, but he was too restless to just stay home, so he decided to get out. "I'll be back mother! I'm going to meet Kageyama today. I don't know when I'll be back."

"Okay! Be safe!" The door then closed shut.

~~

He looked at the time, it was 8:09am. He had to wait another six hours before they met up. He sighed as he continued to walk passed a small convenience store, suddenly wanting to visit the coach. He jumped and smiled, ready to dash away to see coach Ukai.

On the way, he overheard a conversation.

"Agh... How the hell am I supposed to get the money? Maybe I can take my share a little early... F*ck! Why did I lose?" He turned around the corner, only to see his English teacher. He wondered what he was talking about, and to whom, only to realize he was talking on the phone.

"Okay, uh huh. Yeah, you're right.  He would catch me so easily... I have been stealing from him for ages... Ugh..."  Suddenly the teacher perked up. "Really! There's a place? Where?" At that point, Hinata left. He needed to leave. He needed to get out of there or else-

Someone just might find out.

He laughed and laughed.  Who would've known his next target was going to be his teacher? His  teacher of all people? He laughed so hard his stomach began to hurt.

'Oh this is going to be fun.'

~~

Once he arrived at the Sakanoshita Store, Hinata dashed towards the register.

"Coach!!" Hinata yelled. Ukai was seen almost falling out of his chair with the daily newspaper in hand.

"Hinata?!" Hinata would have said something else, but he noticed someone rather familiar.

"Ah- ... Kageyama!" The boy was taken aback as he responded with a blank stare, until finally...

"Hinata?!" The coach shifted his gaze to Kageyama as if shocked that it took him so long to recognize his very own rival, and unknown to the Ukai, his boyfriend. They both stared at each other for another moment before they shrugged off the awkward feeling.

"So..." Kageyama started.

"So..." Hinata responded.

"And why are you guys in my store again?" Ukai chimed in. Hinata sort of deflated.

"I got bored (T^T)." Kageyama cleared his throat.

"Well, like I said before, I have no idea why I'm here." For someone who lied for a living, that was probably the most pathetic one yet. Hinata could only respond with a laugh.

"I... you... HAHAHA!" He tried his best to contain it, but clearly he was failing. Kageyama could only blush out of embarrassment, so he pushed him out of the store.

"Goodbye coach!"

"Bye!" Ukai only responded with a wave, before looking back at his newspaper.

Kageyama sighed. "You just wanna hang out now?" With a smug grin and a light chuckle, Hinata gave a thumbs up and nodded.

"Yep! I have to return home early anyway, so it works out even better!" The assassin shook his head in a form of disbelief.

"Okay okay you idiot, let's go!" They linked arms and walked off.

Inside, Ukai began to question why Kageyama had changed his reasons. He originally came in to ask about Hinata, so why the sudden change? He shrugged off the bad feeling and went about his day.

~~ (I'll be writing a date scene in another chapter, not in this one sadly T^T) ~~

In the end, they were both satisfied with their small hangout, although Hinata would've called it a date if he could.

"We should do it again sometime!" The ball of sunshine exclaimed, Kageyama smiling brightly in return.

"Yeah we should." they both parted ways, Hinata going in the direction of his home, and Kageyama at his. Once they were out of each other's sights, they both had business to attend to.

Kageyama needed to report back to his boss, the family's boss that pretty much ordered him to investigate his friend. The report was short and concise, of course excluding the fact that he was dating him. Even if it was for investigative purposes, it would have brought upon a form of shame on him. He also would have been lectured and he most certainly did not want that.

Now what about Hinata? Simple, he had a specific target he was going for. He needed to do something, to do something oh so terrible.

'Where the hell is he?'

Now he got lucky. So lucky in fact it was a miracle. There was no way he actually saw his teacher just enter someone's home. Maybe it was his house? Maybe it wasn't? One way or another, he had to drag him out. He walked up the front door.

*Knock knock*

For a minute, nothing happened. For a minute, he grew disappointed. But after that minute, he grew excited.

The teacher opened up the door.

"Hinata?" Putting the most innocent shocked face as he could, he started to act.

"Ah! Sensei! I didn't know you lived here!" The teacher, visibly worried, chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Oh uh, I'm visiting a friend right now, actually."

'I was right.'

"Oh really? Well I was going to say, I saw someone drop their wallet in the street, and I thought it was yours. It's a black leather, um..." Hinata pretended to get flustered, to mess up on specific details. "Anyway, I was going to ask if it was yours." This was an obvious lie, but if it was free money to someone who needed it, he was sure he'd be idiotic enough to take the bait.

"Uh, yeah! I'm pretty sure I lost my wallet somewhere. Do you have it on you?" Hinata made a face of regret.

"My friend has it..." He slouched down, visibly upset. "You see I was trying to get your attention but I ran too fast... I'm sure he's still there though! I'll take you to him and we will confirm if it's your wallet!" Hinata brightened. The teacher hesitated for a moment before agreeing.

"Alright, let's go!" He put on his shoes and left with Hinata.

(Murderous part alert. I WARN)

They walked, and walked, and walked until they appeared near a dark, deserted alleyway.

"Uh, Hinata? Where are you taking me? Where is this place? Where's your friend?" He would've continued with his questions, but he was startled, shocked by what he saw.

Hinata brought out a gun. A relatively small gun, but it did its job. His expression completely changed, from bright and bubbly to dark and grim.

"Hinata? Let's just talk about this." The boy smiled menacingly, and nudged the gun downwards.

"Sit." Afraid for his life, the teacher sat down on his knees, hands in the air. His student walked close to him, the gun still pointing to him.

"Shake."

The smile grew bigger.

Feeling humiliated, the teacher didn't obey.

"I'm not a dog!" Hinata now placed the gun to his forehead. The teacher felt the cold hunk of metal and felt frightened. His arms slumped, feeling numb.

"Shake." His smile now dropped, a horrifying glare, just seeping through. The teacher lifted his right hand, trembling as it did so. His smile came back as he shook his hand, the other flinching at the feeling of his student's hand.

"Why are you doing this?" He nearly sobbed, his tears forming.

"Lie down." The teacher moved to lie down on his stomach. Hinata now dropped his guard, lifting his hand in the air and then shrugged. "Because I'm bored." He sang the last word, only for him to roll his eyes. "No wait, it's because you're a b*tch for stealing money and losing it. What were you going to do now that you didn't have money? Were you going to steal it? From a store or something?"

"N-no! Of course not!"

"LIAR!" The teacher flinched.  It was clear that he was trying not to sob his eyes out, although it was also clear that he was failing at it.

"I'm... I'm not lying!"

"I overheard your conversation today, don't try to cover it up.  I know you're a pathetic loser that can't seem to get any money when you need it.  Heard you lost. How much?"

All the teacher was thinking was that this psychopath was nothing like the bright ball of sunshine he was used to.  So different in fact, he refused to believe they were same person.

"One... One million yen***..." At first Hinata didn't say anything.  Then it turned into a small chuckle, until finally he burst out laughing. Then suddenly, he stopped.

All serious, he pointed the gun to the man again, the sudden silence became heavy, a feeling of dread washed over him.

"And where did someone like you get that kind of money?"

"I stole it," he croaked.  His breathing was already unstable.  He was going to die and he knew it.  He just wanted to know one thing.  "Hinata, who did this to you?"

BAM!

Dead.

He was dead.

He killed his teacher.

He killed  his teacher.

He just killed his teacher.

The killer looked up with a sad look in his eyes as a tear dropped down. Now realizing that he was not a normal human being with a regrettable quality, but rather a pathetic crazy boy trying to find his sanity, he sighed.

'Really father, what were you thinking?'

*Egg -rice, (Tamago-gohan which is literally a raw egg, seasoned with shoyu, over a bowl of rice. It is quite popular as a comfort food (?) and it is delicious. I've had it as breakfast a few times that's why I put it as breakfast.................)

**Ume/Umeboshi ( It is pickled plum. It is also delicious, I love it so much.)

***About 10,000 US dollars rounding up.
