Chapter 5- Within HQ

'Are you absolutely sure they will do great? They didn't hesitate when they were about to kill Tenko Shimura.'

'Absolutely positive, you wouldn't just expect for a murderer to stop killing, right?'

'Hmm, I guess you're correct,'

'I'm always correct. Now, shall we continue to watch?'

'Anything you want, love,'

"Should I use my electricfied glove? Or maybe my drone to distract the demons? Those wouldn't work, from what I gained, they will ignore anyone but those imps, or they call themselves humans. Electric fried glove will only immobilized victims, but I only tested them out of humans," You muttered quietly, as you followed the imps to underground.

"Hey! You're the strange child holder, right?" You stopped and shut your bag so no one could see. You turn to you see one of the imps. He was big, muscular, and had short blond hair as he wore a grin.
"Hm," You hummed, and slung your backpack over your shoulder and giving them your usual blank look.

"I gotta say, you pulled through all by yourself, no saving from us soldiers," He laughed, giving you a friendly smile, you showing no reaction as you continue to stare.
'Aw come on (Y/N) (L/N), play nice!' The voice snickered, and the second voice tried to make them stop.
"You using the ODM gear without any training at all, and was able to save this little fella," He patted Tenko's hair, making him flinch slightly.

You didn't know why, but a small tingle in your stomach caused you to speak.
"I wouldn't... leave a kid behind," You croaked out, trying to pretend you didn't just ate one of their soldiers.
"I want to ask, how did you manage to survive with no training at all? Surely you had some knowledge of surviving all on your own," He said, staring straight into his eyes, you could feel he is trying to get answers from you.

Like he wanted something.

"In a world like this, you need any kinds of knowledge of what you know of this world, and use it to your advantages. You'll never know when you'll die," You simply lied, pulling Tenko's arm and pushed him behind you. The buff blond stared at you some more, then grinned.
"Nice moral you have. Sorry I didn't introduced myself, my name is Reiner Braun, what's yours?" He said as others started to talk amongst yourselves.

"That's them! That's the civilian who survived a herd of Titans and managed to save a kid!"

"Really? I wonder how they did it without any ODM training,"

"I heard they are a former soldier who went into exile,"

"If they were a soldier, then they have some experience in killing these Titans!"

'Look at that! Making a debut and people already making false assumptions!' The voice laughed.
'Don't be mean! That's a lot of pressure!' The second voice exclaimed.
"Hm," You hummed as Jean and others walked in with big boxes.

"Good news! Courtesy of the military police, and covered with a layer of dust," He said, blowing the dust away.
"Great, bring it over," Another blond, a shorter and noodle one, called over.
"Tenko, stay here while the soldiers and I talk about getting out of here," You crouched down to eye level and looked at Tenko, who nodded and you got up to walk over.

"Are you sure buck shot is the way to go? Might as well spit at them," Jean retorted.
"Firearm will not do anything lethal to them, as their only weakness is the nape of the neck, a clean slice will do, anything else will do nothing but make it regenerate itself," You explained, holding up a gun they had in the boxes and inspected it. It was old, and vintage for your taste, who do anything but kill someone with a shot to the chest.

"Although it could be used for distractions," You pressed on, making the blind short boy nod.
"Right, we're looking at seven Titans in the supply room of the four meters tall variety. If we time this perfectly, this much ammo gotta be enough to do the trick." He explained pointing at the building map and layer.

"Step one, we lower a group into the area via lift to get the Titan's attention. Step two, when the Titans come into range, the group fires in all four directions simultaneously, blinding them." He three looked up at the group with a nervous, but determined look.
"Now the hard part. Before the Titans have time to recover, seven of us swoop down from the ceiling and strike their necks,"

"That's the plan, our lives are on the line. If we screw up, we're dead. A huge risk for one attack, but it's our only chance. Seven people have to slay seven Titans in one blow at the same time. We're gonna need the best of you, the seven soldiers most physically gifted with their blades," He finished.

"A strategic yet risky move, I like it," You mumbled under your breath.
"When you get right down to it, the risk is the same to everyone, doesn't matter how goes," A blond female bluntly explained.
'I never knew there is so much blondes,' The voice commented.
'Of course you knew! After all, they are-' You raised an eyebrow as you heard a yelp from the second voice.

"Look, I'm willing to be talked out of this, one half baked strategy can't be our only option," The blind short boy said in a shaky voice.
"You made a solid and confident plan and now you're backing out? Letting fear in you during the time of saving will get you killed rather than arrogance," You spoke up, making them look at you.

"I never met you before, but if you made it this far with plans, use that brain of yours and never think too lowly of you, or else blood will be in your hands," You darkly muttered the last part. Before anyone could say anything, the lift opened.
"Alright, everything is ready to go, guns are loaded, let's go," Jean said. They all got up and grabbed the guns.

"Tenko, you stay here, I'm going help them out with the demon killing." You told the boy setting him down against a wall.
"But.. what if you get killed! I don't want to be alone," He pleaded, small tears in his eyes. You simply stared at him, and a growling sound in your stomach was barely heard. You crouched down, and looked him dead in the eye.

"Tenko, I'm going to be blunt, I do not care about you at all," His eyes widen at your words.
'(Y/N) (L/N)! That's the worst thing you could ever say to-'
"I'm going to need you to shut the fuck up," You scowled at the voices.
"I don't care if you get emotional, but the one thing that's going to be clear, is that you will die in the hands of me. Only I get to kill you, you are my prey. Everyone here is," You told him.

"I didn't save you because I felt like it was the right thing to do, or because I wanted to save you. I did it because the voices in my head told me we were connected somehow, and I want to be alive a little longer so I could see how this whole shit show goes down, and you... you will stay alive no matter what,"

Tenko stared at you with wide eyes and his mouth agape a little, but then he nodded.
'At least they care that I don't die, but only because of their benefits,' He thought as you gave him your bag.
"There's a granola bar in there if you are hungry, I don't eat those but I give to my prey before I kill them," You said, standing up and walking away.

'That... was a little harsh, even for me,' The voice mumbled.
"I don't care, I just want to eat their flesh," You growled, and going downstairs.
'Just let them vent, they might have a change of heart,' The second voice replied.
"Yeah, I want a heart too," You mumbled, slightly drooling.

Tenko stared at your figure disappear down the stairs, and he carefully opened the front pocket to find a weird packet. He ripped it open and see this weird blocky thing with nuts and dried up fruit, it smelled good, and he cautiously took a bite. A few moments later he then devoured the entire thing.

'Cannibal says they do not care about me, but this says otherwise,'
