It was usual saturday in seghal house. Usual means Andy teasing mahir, Rishi teasing meera , bela, sumi, bade dada and badi dadi laughing hysterically.

Mahir and meera huffed in annoyance being irritated. While whole family was busy in laughing.

Mahir and meera looked at each other making a sad face.

Mahir opened his arms and meera hugged him immeadiately .

"Dad these people are so mean" Meera fake cried.

"I know my princess they have always been" Mahir wiped his invisible tears.

"We will not talk to them ".

"Yes princess we will not talk to them . We will go for ice cream party and will not take them" Mahir smirked looking at Andy and bela as the duo were crazy about ice -cream.

Andy made a puppy face while bela pouted looking at mahir.

Mahir rolled his eyes at them

"Dad you can't do that with these munchkins now. Can you? You know they like ice -cream so much ".

" Oye!! Chup kar mummy ke chamche. Bada aaya bolne wala . Jb dad mughe tease krte hai tab to zubaan nii khulti".mahir gave rishi a sly smile.

"Dadddd" Rishi screamed being annoyed.

Meera clapped her hands and mahir kissed her cheeks.

Mahir stood up,took him phone from the table and blew a flying kiss to everyone on the table.

As the flying kiss saved his precious time which he would have not been abled to save if he kissed everyone individually .

So a flying kiss is simple, quick and easy!!.

Andy and bela gave him a bored look.
Rishi rolled his eyes at him.
Only bade dada, badi dadi, sumi and meera responded him back.

Mahir huffed and left for the work.

Only 30 minutes and mahir was back to seghal house as he forgot to tell something really important to his family.

Mahir searched for whole family but he didn't found anyone .

Mahir quickly dialled to bela. Which she picked after 10 missed calls.

"Bela where are you? And why were you not picking up my calls" Mahir asked being worried.

"Mahir we have came for a picnic and my phone was on silent"

"Okay! When you people are coming back? "

"Maybe in evening"

"Cool then! Take care"

Bela just hummed in response .

No she was not at all angry at mahir. But just wanted his attention.

She wanted him to ask her what happened. She planned she would throw some tantrums then will give in.
But she got irritated soon enough when mahir didn't called her again.

Here, mahir left for office again smiling to himself how would they react after getting the news he desperately wanted to tell them.

Whole day Bela was in a cranky mood because she didn't got another call from mahir.

Mahir happily came back and saw rishi and meera playing carrom.
All the four grandparents discussing something.

He greeted them but as usual got selective replies back.

He quickly rushed to kitchen.

"Bela I want to tell you something Important. " Mahir screamed in her ears.

But Bela didn't budge.

Mahir got disappointed not getting his expected reaction.

But he tried again "Bela listen to me I want to..........

" Mahir everyone is hungry let's eat dinner".
Bela interrupted him and quickly ran out of the kitchen after completing her sentence.

Mahir had no other option just to follow her.

They all sat for dinner. Whenever mahir tried to say something. Someone interrupted him or ignored him
As per their daily ritual.

Mahir quietly ate rest of the dinner fastly.

He went to their room , sat on the bed and started waiting for bela.

After what felt like an eternity bela came and directly laid down on the bed without throwing any glance at mahir.

"Bela.please sorry. I will take you to ice cream parlour tomorrow and will never ever even try to separate you and you ice cream. Please"

Bela didn't budge.
She was already melted but wanted mahir to try that again at least two times.

"Bela please listen to me. Baby please"
Again Bela didn't responded.

'Done. Now once more and I am all yours mahir' Bela thought to herself.

"Okay fine. You don't want to talk. I also don't want to talk to you. Huh! "
Mahir sighed frustratedly and laid down to his side facing his back towards Bela.

Bela gasped and turned towards him.

"Mahir say please and sorry again " Bela ordered him and this time mahir ignored her.

Bela's jaw dropped to the mattress.

"Mahir how can you?. " Bela shook me him up but he slept snoring softly.

"Ahhh this is not done" Bela fake cried and slept hugging mahir.

In the morning

When Bela woke up she found the bed empty.

"Ye mahir chale gye bina mughe manaye ?. Arey nii nii mughe unhe manata tha. " Bela whispered to herself.

Without wasting any further time she went to freshen up.

Mahir was sitting surrounded by his business partners and colleagues when he heard the most awaited announcement.

"And the grand celebration begins. We are going to announce the winner of most awaited and prestigious award that is 'The great business man of all times' I would like to invite
Mr. Joseph Fin to announce the name and present it to the person" The host said in his foreign accent.

Loud claps echoed in the stadium as people impatiently waited for the name to be announced.

Mr. Joseph Fin made his entry on the stage smiling.

"Good afternoon everyone. I met this person quite a few times and I feel proud to say that I have never met such an amazing human being.
He is smart, honest , hardworking and determined which surely makes him a great business man. With due respect and great enthusiasm I proudly announce that 'the great business man of all times' goes to Mr. Mahir Seghal from India"

Loud claps and cheering echoed in the whole stadium.

Mahir stands up smiling and started moving towards the stage. He felt happy but sad too as he thought that his family is not here to see him being awarded with such prestigious award.

The fact made him gloomy but he masked it and marched towards the stage.

As soon as he received the award . He heard an unusual loud screaming and cheering.

He looked straight and found meera and shaan on the table standing , clapping their hands high up in the sky. While his whole family beating the table and screaming
"hoooooooooooooooooo".

He audibly gasped. 'My family' he whispered shocked to register what was happening.

Everyone in the stadium looked at them as the kept banging the table.

Mahir face palmed himself.

" That's my family. I am sorry on their behalf .They are over excited ." Mahir exclaimed embarrassed.

He so wanted to say that he does not know them but didn't wanted any other drama.

Mr.Joseph Fin chuckled looking at mahir's face and patted his back.

Everyone present in the Hall just smiled. Which made mahir comfortable enough to speak few words.

"I thank my crazy family for their tremendous support. My colleagues who have always been present at my beck and call and lastly My rivals who provide me with the motivation to do more better in my life.

And Mr. Joseph Fin you have been much more amazing person. I have got to learn so much from you.

I dedicate this award to all my supporters.thankyou very much".

Mahir completed his speech ,walked down the stage and the Hall again erupted in loud cheers and clapping.
Of course banging of tables included.

MAHIR'S POV

Why they all are shouting so bad. They made me embarrassed yet again. God! What should I do with them.

Wait! How did they knew When I didn't tell them anything?

Aur ye janwar kuhu kab aae? Wo bhi apne pathetic rj ke saath.

Whatever. This time I am not gonna talk to them. Nah not so easily.
They have ignored me enough.

I went to them leaving my previous seat .

As soon as I reached to them meera and shaan jumped on me peppering my face with kisses.

"Dad I am so proud of you. "
"Mamu I am so proud of you".
They squealed in my arms and I chuckled kissing their cheeks.

My munchkins.

I sat on the empty chair and responded back with a smile when meera's bade dadu , badi dadi and mom congratulated me and rolled my eyes when rishi, Bela, kuhu, dad and rj congratulated me.

Huh! Take that.

Instead of getting upset they gave me a bored look.

Ignoring them and taking my revenge is another thing but their love and admiration they have for me is another thing.

I can see the proud shining in their eyes.
I am so lucky to get them as my family although they are crazy more than required but still I love them to no end.

They tried talking to me but I ignored them except meera, shaan,mom,uncle and aunt.

I know I am bit more rude to rj but I can't help it. I have been brutal to him in the past.
I envy him so much because he took my animal away from us. Could not he just live in India only. Stupid creature.

I remember during their wedding. Me, rishi and meera were throwing daggers at him. Poor him all the time he was scared of us and tried his best to not to come in front of us.

Although dad also didn't liked him for taking kuhu away from us but he didn't showed his anger on front foot. He would help us in plotting against him but would scold us in front of others as if he didn't knew about it.

During kuhu's bidai time kuhu was crying so much that Bela had to literally hold my hands from killing rj.

I glared at him with my red eyes and dared him to even touch my sister.

He was damn scared. Maybe inches away from peeing in his sherwani pants.

Meera and rishi were slept otherwise they would have supported me.

"Let's go and celebrate. " Dad screamed . I came Out of the flask back but didn't spared him a glance.

"You son of a elephant" Dad gritted his teeth at me.

Mom gasped at him
" Andy you just called me an elephant"

"No darling no at all" Dad panicked while we all chuckled.

"Don't talk to me andy" Mom glared at dad to which dad made a puppy face.

Yes. Now I have one more member in my team.

We all reached home after having lunch at the restaurant wherein I continued ignoring selective people.

"Mahir dear see I saved a chocolate for you. " Dad said batting his eye lashes at me.

Am I so easy to be persuaded? Just by chocolate?

A big No.

I walked past him.

"Dad you are the world's best dad " Mummy ka chamcha hugged me.

I rolled my eyes at him and separated him from me.

I sat on the sofa and they all sat surrounding me.

"Mahir bhai I bought gifts for you. See " Kuhu showed me a watch.
I looked at the watch . It was indeed beautiful. According to my taste.

Although I liked it so much and wanted to hug kuhu for such a beautiful gift but kept a poker face.

Kuhu and rj smiled at me expectedly waiting for my reply but I glared at rj making him gulp his saliva and ignored kuhu keeping the watch at the table.

All of them made a sad face.

I can't do this anymore. Agghhhh These people are my life.

Not wanting to see their sad face I quickly made my way towards my room.

"Mahir please sorry. We will not ignore you much from now on. " Dad shouted when I was on stairs but I didn't turned back and rushed to my room.

Pheww! It was hard.

I wasn't enjoying that much.

I laid on the bed and closed my eyes.

I heard opening and closing of door two times. Which means Bela came and went to washroom.

After few minutes I heard Bela calling me. I opened my eyes and at looked at her.

Oh my hskdjejksmsnwbsbsn

Bela was looking smoking hot in a flimsy short dress.

My jaw dropped to the ground.

She came near me and sat on my lap.

I quickly collected my jaw from the ground .

Wait! Did I said I am not enjoying this. Screw that I am enjoying this as hell.

"Mahir please we are sorry. We will not ignore you from now and will. Listen to you please".bela said genuinely.

Okay I can't act more now.

I placed a quick kiss on her lips.

" I can never be angry at you people for long. You all are my life"

Bela clapped and kissed my cheeks.

"Well how didn't you know about the award".

" When you slept yesterday. I saw a notification ping on your phone. It was your some friend congratulating you. And I got the information in bits and pieces ,combined them and got the answer.
We are so proud of you mahir"

"I am happy to make you all feel proud"

I kissed her again and we got lost in ourselves.

Wondering if my family ever stopped ignoring me? Well they never. Only when I would say it's really important. They would listen to me.

My crazy family.

But I can't help loving them more and more.
