"HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!" Caroline and John screamed as they ran to their dad on his special day! Jack turned around with a big grin on his face.

"Hey" he grinned as he bent down and hugged them deep in his arms. Jackie laughed as she watched on.

A few moments away from the children, gave them the time to kiss and for Jackie to wish her husband a happy 48th birthday.

Hyannis Port

Unlike the birthday Jack had, had the year before, relaxing on the warm sands of Skorpios, this year he chilled on the soft sand of the Hyannis coastline.

He and Jackie went for a private stroll along the beach, talking about the past year. "One year ago today, we were in Greece" Jack smiled as he popped on his sunglasses.

Jackie leaned in closer. "And one year ago today, Kick was conceived" Jackie reminded him. "That was one great birthday" he joked to which Jackie laughed.

She and Jack sat in the sand and let the water run, right up to their toes and it was cold.

Soon their privacy was gone as Caroline came running towards them in her red dungarees and white, embroidered t-shirt.

She flopped on Jackie who cuddled her before Jack called out; "Where is my gorgeous little buttons?".

Jack held Caroline with one arm and Jackie with the other as they watched the sun set. Jack thought back on the past year.

He had been to Greece, re-elected and father to another child who had brought light into the word. It truly had been wonderful and with Jackie by his side, it couldn't be any better.
