(Kaidens POV)

Kaiden and Declan had formulated the most brilliant plan to rescue Alex and Jordan from Sir Oswald's party. They were going to sneak in undetected since nobody would be able to read their minds and Kaiden would use Hunter's perception gift to tell him where to go and where to shoot the stabilizer once they got into the right room of the mansion.
The plan didn't work out in their favour and they ended up pinned to the floor back to back with Jordan and Alex, unable to move. Once he realised that he was stuck Kaiden looked around the room to see who else was there.
He recognised Signa Zu from the Soori Outpost, Calista Maine, Lena Morrow, and most surprisingly Aven Dalmarta. He also noticed Sir Oswald behind the rebel prince, but only once he spoke up and said "I would like to know who you are, Alexandra Jennings?"

Her reply was very sarcastic "You just answered your own question. You must still need to recover from your ahem... power nap."

This made Oswald quite angry, but before he could do anything Aven sent him away muttering about being ordered around in his own home.

//10 mins later//

All he could see was a blur of the fight and he knew that Alex was fighting a Meyarin - probably the most dangerous one - and fighting him well. After a few minutes more of fighting Kaiden felt his feet unstick from the ground so he grabbed the others and ran from the room. Once they were outside Kaiden knew something wasn't right so he grabbed the stabiliser and ran back inside for Alex.

He fired a few shots, found her and took her out into the garden behind the mansion.
After she regained consciousness he told her that he wouldn't press her for questions and that he would make sure Declan didn't either.  

A/N: DONT BLAME ME FOR THE SHORT CHAPTERS, BECAUSE MOST OF YOU ALL READY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE ACTUAL SERIES SO THEY WILL BE VERY SHORT UNTIL I LEAVE THE ACTUAL SERIES
