Night soon came to its beginning at the rise of a full moon.

Grillby and Sans had just been released from the hospital after a series of checkups and were now making their way through the parking lot to Papyrus' red car with Undyne and Alphys.

Toriel, Asgore, Flowey, Frisk, and Mettaton had all gone home already.

Tomorrow was Monday, a school day for Frisk and a work day for Mettaton.

"SEATBELTS FIRST!" Papyrus sang, as the crew of monsters took their seats in the car.

Undyne, Alphys, and Grillby took the backseats while Papyrus and Sans sat in the front seats, leaving Papyrus as the driver.

After everyone put their seatbelts on, Papyrus proceeded to turn his car on and begin driving away from the hospital to Undyne and Alphys' house.

The ride was silent until Papyrus began talking, in an attempt to make up a conversation to clear out the quiet environment.

"SO, BROTHER. FOR HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DATING GRILLBY?" the tall skeleton asked.

Half asleep, Sans turned to his side and looked at his brother.

"since yesterday" he responded.

"HMM... DO YOU LOVE HIM VERY MUCH?"

"why wouldn't i? he's the love of my life" Sans said, looking back over his shoulder to see Grillby, who was completely blue at his answer.

As the two brothers conversated, the rest also picked up with it and joined in.

All except Alphys, who had already fallen dead asleep.

"Have you two gone on a date before?" Undyne curiously asked leaning in closer to their side of the car, careful not to get on top of her girlfriend, who sat in between her and Grillby, asleep.

"We were planning to go someday sooner or later. We just couldn't find the right time to have one" Grillby replied.

"Then I guess your first date will be with Alphys and I!" Undyne said.

"Yeah" Grillby happily sighed.

"I'm glad it'll be with people I enjoy having around." He added.

"WE'RE HERE!" Papyrus announced as he parked the car in front to the house.

"Oh sweet! Thanks Paps for bringing me and my gf home. You're the best." Undyne thanked once getting out of the car with a sleeping Alphys in her arms.

"OF COURSE I'M THE BEST! I'M THE GREATEST! I'M THE GREAT PAPYRUS!" Papyrus exclaimed making Undyne chuckle.

"Hehe yeah. Well goodbye guys. Take care Sans and Grillby. Don't do anything idiotic or I'll kick your butts." Undyne said before finally leaving and entering her house, just to fall asleep on the couch with Alphys still in her arms.

"WELL, GRILLBY. DO YOU WANT ME TO TAKE YOU TO YOUR PLACE? ALTHOUGH IT WOULD BE OKAY IF YOU STAYED OVER. I COULD WATCH OVER YOU TOO AND NURSE YOU BACK TO HEALTH!" Papyrus asked.

"yeah grillbz. stay." Sans chimed in, turning behind his back to face his favorite elemental.

Grillby nodded.

"Sure. Thanks." He said.

"bro? is it okay if i move to the back with grillby?" Sans queried, smiling at his brother.

"OF COURSE IT IS BROTHER!" Papyrus assured.

By the time Papyrus had barely finished his sentence, Sans had already jumped to the back seat with Grillby.

"did ya miss me?" Sans asked leaning in closer to the bartender's face.

Grillby giggled and nodded as he received Sans with a tight hug and a small kiss in the mouth.

"Yeah" he whispered.

Papyrus looked at them through the mirror and smiled.

If my brother is happy, then I'm happy too, he thought before starting up the car and driving off to his house.

On their way home, both Grillby and Sans had fallen asleep cuddled on to each other.

Papyrus glanced up at them through the mirror and couldn't help but to feel a bit jealous at the scene.

He remembered how his brother and him had been very close to one another as monster kids, not that they weren't still close but...

Papyrus still kinda missed the hugs and cuddles.

They still hugged and cuddled to each other, but not as often as how it had been back then.

Papyrus let out a deep sigh and just kept driving.

What if Sans loved Grillby more than him?

Once home, Papyrus gently shook Grillby and Sans awake.

"BROTHER, GRILLBY. WE'RE HOME" He murmured at the notice the two were waking up.

"already?"

"YES. NOW WAKE UP YOU LAZYBONES!" Papyrus said firmly.

"m'kay"

Sans looked to his side and noticed Grillby had fallen asleep already once again.

"you can go inside the house. i'll take care of this." Sans yawned, stretching his arms up in the air.

Papyrus nodded in assurance.

"OKAY SANS. DO NOT FALL ASLEEP OUT HERE" he said before leaving the front steps of the house.

Sans popped his fingers and began laughing maniacally as he proceeded to take off Grillby's shoes and tickle his foot.

Grillby moved his body sideways​, showing an obvious discomfort, letting a few quiet giggles escape his mouth.

"Hehehe. Sans... Hahaha. What are you doing? Ahahaha" Grillby laughed, waking up.

Sans let go of Grillby's foot and kissed him.

"wake up, love" he said a little louder.

"I'm awake, I'm awake" Grillby sighed as he put his shoe back on.

"let's get out of the car now, paps must think we fell asleep again." Sans remarked, opening the car's door to his side.

"Wait. Before we do..." Grillby said, stopping Sans from getting out of the car by pulling him into a long, passionate kiss.

"Now we can get out" Grillby allowed.

Blushing a light blue, Sans shook his head as a yes and stepped out of the car with Grillby to his side.

"Love you Sans" Grillby said as the two walked towards the house's entrance, where Sans stopped Grillby at the quick arrival.

"love you too" he imparted before opening the front door for Grillby.
