                          ~~~•~~~
If writing about my nightmare was difficult then rewriting it with a changed ending was right out torturous.
Hanging out with my friends, really helped. With a calm and clear mind, I came back and had a joyous lunch with Raghav and Tanya.
Soon after that, I came to my room to start with the second task i.e. writing the new version of my dream.
Tanya and Raghav wanted to be here with me but I threw them out of the room as they both needed to discuss Tanya's letter of fear.
That's how I reached this point of torture. Writing this new version makes the first task look like a piece of cake. Everyone is not an author to come up with a story that would feel real enough for it to replace my dreadful nightmare.
I totally lost the track of time while thinking and writing. It wasn't until Tanya came up to call me for dinner when I realized that the whole evening has passed by.
"Did you two talk about your fears? What did Raghav say?", I asked while we were descending down the stairs.
"Yeah we talked and you should not worry about us", she said and the topic was instantly shut down when we came near Raghav.
"Sia, are you done with the writing? Do you need our help?", Raghav asked in concern while taking his seat.
"No, I am not done yet but I am close. Don't worry, it's all good", I assured him and started eating.
Not wanting to waste more time, I left to finish my new dream as soon as dinner was done while Tanya and Raghav cleared up the mess.
Letting out a huge breath, I started to write again.
'FINALLY', I closed the book with a thud after finally completing my second task.
I came out of my room to inform both of them but noticed that they were having a serious discussion. Although they were talking in a low voice, probably not wanting to disturb me, their faces were enough to know the intensity of the discussion.
Not wanting to bother them, I crept back to my room silently. Changing my clothes, I laid down on the bed taking the book with me to complete the third task.
I was supposed to read that revised dream for 3-4 times but I read it 6 times for the better effect, not wanting to leave any stone unturned.
Switching off the lights, I went to sleep, praying profusely that this method works, not only for me but for everyone of them who had put so many efforts to help me.
                           ~~~•~~~

I woke up in the middle of the night. I know, I know, there's nothing new in that but this time I woke up from a dream. Not a nightmare but a dream. Yipeee!!

"Sia? You okay?", Tanya asked immediately.

Hearing her voice, I looked up to see both Raghav and Tanya in the room and they didn't look like they woke up from a sleepy state.

"You two didn't sleep?", I asked flabbergasted.

"That's not important. Are you okay? The method didn't work?", Raghav asked after waving off my question.

He didn't receive a straight answer to his question because instead of answering, I started jumping on the bed pulling Tanya and Raghav with me.

"IT WORKED!! IT WORKED", I shouted happily.

Hearing me they too started jumping along with me, yelling 'It worked', again and again.

We all plopped down on the bed after our childish act, having big smiles on our faces, while breathing heavily because of all that jumping.

"Not to burst your bubble, but why did you wake up, if the method had worked?", Raghav asked, after his breathing had come into control.

"I saw my fabricated dream instead of my nightmares, that's for sure and about waking up, I think it happened because my body had got accustomed to waking up at midnight", I gave him an approx answer as I wasn't too sure about it.

Raghav and Tanya hummed at that, as it was the most probable answer.

"Now tell me why were you two awake at such a late hour?", I asked them curiously.

"We couldn't sleep. What if the method didn't work and you needed us? What if we didn't hear you in our sleep? All this worries kept us awake", Tanya informed sheepishly.

"I am really happy that you two care so much but please don't do this every night or you would fall sick", I told them sternly and they nodded obediently in return.

Tanya let out a yawn and it had a contagious effect and Raghav and I too started yawning.

"Let's go to sleep, now that we got a clear indication", I said laughing.

"Yeah. Good night", Raghav wished and went downstairs to sleep on the couch while Tanya laid down beside me.

                           ~~~•~~~
Days turned into weeks and the level of treating the nightmares kept upgrading. From least scary nightmare to the scariest.
Most of the times, the method worked immediately but sometimes it didn't and I had to make up a new version of dream again.
Rudra and the Trio were a great support too. All of them made sure that I didn't fall into depression while remembering and writing down all those nightmares.
All four of them spent a lot of time together, researching for my other problem but I wasn't involved as I was already pressurized with curing the nightmare problem.
Things were looking up and I was glad about it.
