It was too early in the morning when the bell rang. Groaning, I got out of my bed.

Ugh, Damn old age. Ganga Tai forgot her keys again. Rubbing my eyes, I went to open the main door.

All my sleepiness went away when I saw Tanya standing there lazily with lots of bags.

"Oh my God! Tanya", I squealed and hugged her tightly.

Before coming to this town, I had never been away from her for so long, not even after she got married.

She hugged me back tightly and then asked laughingly, "If you are done with showering love, Can we head inside?"

"Of course", I replied sheepishly and took few of her bags.

"Wow! You pack so light. How did you manage to place all your belongings in such a few amount of bags?", I asked tauntingly.

She plopped down on the couch in a very unladylike way before answering, "Firstly, not all the bags are mine and secondly, I didn't get much time to pack systematically as you just called yesterday".

"Tanya, I know you from the time, I was born. You would never pack systematically even if you were given one month's time", I said in a knowing tone.

"Ok ok, I surrender. Now you don't start. Raghav already gave me a lecture on packing and my ears are still bleeding", she spoke dramatically.

"Speaking of Raghav, where is he?", I asked as they were supposed to come together.

"He is settling down everything important in the head branch as we were coming here for more than a month", she answered.

"Oops, I forgot about the business. I am so sorry for disturbing...", Tanya broke my guilt trip by whacking me in the shoulders.

"Shut up. You are important for us and we can leave the world behind for you, if needed. By the way, what happened? You called us so urgently. You are okay, right?", Tanya asked in concern after scolding me.

"Wait wait. If it's something really serious and you feel like I won't be able to handle it or lose my mind over it, then don't tell me before Raghav comes here. He is the sane one among us so let's wait for it", Tanya spoke before I could open my mouth to answer her.

"Well it is serious and I don't know how will you take it but don't worry about it now. Let Raghav come, I will explain everything to both of you simultaneously.

By the way, totally out of the topic but why are you here at this time? Yesterday when you said that you both would come today, I assumed it would around noon and definitely not before the sunrise", I asked while moving to kitchen to bring some water for her.

"I couldn't sleep, thinking that you were in danger. So packed my bags in a jet speed and was out of the house as early as I could manage", she replied shrugging.

She made it sound so simple but I knew the amount of panic she would have felt.

"Here", I said forwarding the glass of water.

"Thanks", she said and drank the water in one go. Someone was really thirsty.

"Let's go and keep this bags in the room first and then we will talk about all the things we have missed about each other's life", Tanya spoke standing up.

I nodded and we started taking all the bags upstairs, one by one.

"Humph", we plopped down on the bed, on our backs and stared at the ceiling.

"What did you fill in those bags? Bricks?", I asked, my hands numb from carrying all the weight.

She laughed upon hearing my question and replied sheepishly, "No idea, I just threw everything that was in the cupboard and some random things from our room".

"Idiot", I said and turned to face her to talk to her but saw that she had fallen asleep.

Staying awake for the whole night, packing everything (even though it wasn't done properly), driving for continuous 3 hours in the night and several trips we made to take her luggage upstairs.

All this must have been too tiring. No wonder she fell asleep the moment she laid down.

I smiled looking at my caring sister. Covering her with the blanket, I too slept beside her.
