Ganga Tai and I were chatting randomly when my phone rang.I looked at Ganga Tai but she assured me, "Go and take the call, we can have this conversation later".

Giving her a nod, I picked up Shanaya's call.

"Siaaaaa, Help meeeeee. Please save me", she shouted while huffing and the call suddenly ended.

I called her back immediately while all the bad thoughts rushed to my mind. What would have happened to her? What if...what if someone like dad was behind her? No no....I can't let it happen.

She picked up the call after 4-5 rings. "Shanaya, where are you? What happened?", I asked frantically.

"Come outside", she said breathlessly, confirming that she was running away from someone.

"I am coming", I rushed outside giving Ganga Tai some lame excuse.

As soon as I stepped outside, I saw Shanaya running towards me. But before she could reach me, she was grabbed my father.

He pushed her on the ground harshly and was just about to....

"NO SHANAYA...", I woke up screaming and crying.

Everyone woke up upon hearing my scream and scrambled towards me.

"Sia, sia are you okay?", I don't know who asked me as I was still trying to get my breathing into control.

Someone forwarded a glass of water which I took with my shaking hands. Jiya took hold of the glass and helped me drink the water when she saw me unable to drink due to my shaking hands.

Uncle came forward but stopped when I flinched away.

Aunty continued to rub my back while Maitri softly asked me, "Sia, are you okay? Did you see a nightmare? You screamed Shanaya's name.

"Ye...yeah it was a nightmare", I spoke in a low voice, having a hard time to speak.

"Do you get nightmares all the time?", Uncle asked but sat away from me, sensing my fright.

"Umm...No. I guess it was because I got really scared when Shanaya had called me to save her when Maitri was angry with her", I lied.

"But...it was just me and we had a great laugh about it later on", Maitri said in confusion.

"It was just you in reality but in my dreams, Shanaya was in real danger", I explained.

"Who told you to call Sia that day? See how scared she got", Jiya scolded Shanaya.

Sorry Shanaya. It wasn't her fault. I had nightmares like this almost every alternate nights but tonight was the first time the victim had a face. The face of Shanaya.

Shanaya came towards me with a guilty face and said, "Sorry Sia. Please don't worry. See, I am totally fine".

She hugged me tightly and kept reassuring me that she was okay.

"Sia, here drink some warm milk. It would help you calm down", Aunty said forwarding the glass.

"I didn't even realize that you left the room to bring milk", Maitri spoke to her Mom. She was right, no one realized that her Mom went to kitchen.

"That's because I am a Ninja", Aunty spoke sarcastically.

"Better?", Uncle asked after I had finished drinking milk.

I nodded in response.

"Girls, you all go and sleep in Maitri's room. This floor must be really uncomfortable to sleep", Uncle said ushering us out.

"What about you two?", Maitri asked when she saw her parents sitting back on sofa.

"We will continue watching movie, you all go and sleep. You have college tomorrow", Uncle said offhandedly.

We all groaned upon having reminded that we had to go to college tomorrow.

The trio slept after making sure that I was okay. I didn't dare to sleep again fearing that the nightmare would be back.

They all had let it go thinking this was my first time having such nightmare. Don't know what will happen if they come to know the truth.

Next morning:

We left to our homes to get ready for college.

I was just going to open the door when I saw Rudra coming.

"What are you doing outside?", he asked seeing me standing outside my house.

"Just came from Maitri's house. Had a sleepover", I informed him.

"No wonder your panda eyes are back. All four of you would have enjoyed so much that you forgot to sleep", he said chuckling while following me to enter inside the house.

"Yeah it was fun..", I said mumbling the words 'for the most part', under my breath while remembering my nightmare.

"Good good. By the way do you know that I can see future?", he asked out randomly.

"Really?", I asked skeptically.

"Yeah of course. See I will tell you the future. Wait a second", he said closing his eyes and making wierd hands movements.

"Today four girls are going to yawn continuously during their lectures", he said barely able to control his laugh.

"You are so dead", I spoke before hitting him continuously on his shoulders.

This continued for a while but soon we remembered that we had college and rushed back to our works. Rudra with his kitchen duty while I went to get ready for college.
