Chapter 12: The "Eventful" Lunch
~Akira~
The bright rays of sunshine shone through the window, my eyes slowly opening. I heard the sound of a loud yawn next to me.
"Mooorniinn." Masaaki yawned.
"Hi, Masaaki." I replied.
I slowly got out of bed, throwing my pillow at Masaaki, who threw a pokeball at me.
"Ow!"
Masaaki stuck his tongue out at me, rolling his eyes. He got out of bed, came towards me and punched me in the face.
"HEY! STOP IT!" I shouted.
"That's what you get for being an ass in the middle of night and turning the TV off while I was watching something." Masaaki glared at me.
"Must've done it in my sleep." I replied, only getting another punch from Masaaki.
I stuck my tongue out at him and went to the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror, a messy blue haired boy staring back at me. I turned the tap on and washed my face, feeling fresh. I brushed my teeth, then left the bathroom. Masaaki went into the bathroom and I left the room. Hiroko was sitting outside with Akane, having breakfast. There was two more plates, which I guessed were for Masaaki and me. Masaaki came outside too, and we all had breakfast, after which everyone went into their rooms. Everyone but Hiroko and I. We were watching a movie we both had seen many, many times, because it was the only one on TV. I almost fell asleep several times, with Hiroko shouting at me to wake me up each time. Not a long time later, Masaaki, Akane and Isamu came into the room.
"You watchin' that?" Akane asked me.
"Not really." Hiroko and I replied.
3rd Person
All three sat down, picked up their game controllers, and turned Isamu's Wii U on.
Isamu evilly smiled as he turned the game on. The one Masaaki was horrible at. Super Smash Bros. Akane and Isamu would always team up and beat Masaaki, and sometimes Isamu would betray Akane and kill her and Masaaki at the same time. They all chose their characters. Isamu was Captain Falcon, Akane was Charizard, and Masaaki was Zero Suit Samus.
"LETS DO THIS!" Isamu shouted.
Hiroko groaned and got up from the sofa, yawned, stretched, walked to Akira and pulled him away with his shirt.
"Hey!" Akira cried.
Hiroko glared at him, and went to their kitchen. She took a packet of crisps and went back to the sofa and began to eat them.
"I'm hungry." She said, tossing the packet of crisps into the dustbin and dusting off the crumbs, "Do we have lunch?"
"Probably not, Akane, you and I need to go shop for some more food." Masaaki replied.
"Akira, get your shit together, we're going to go eat lunch."
"I'm ready, you're not." He replied.
"Yes, yes I am." She glared.
They both left the house and the other three kept playing their game.
"Well, unfortunately, the Pokemon Center restaurant is not open on the weekends, which makes no sense, but whatever." Hiroko shouted.
"Let's go to a restaurant, like that one over there!" Akira happily said, pointing to a restaurant quite far from there.
They both walked to the restaurant for about half an hour.
"Crap, I forgot my wallet. You got any money?" Hiroko facepalmed as they reached the restaurant.
"Nope." Akira replied.
"We ARE NOT going back to the house to get money." Hiroko sighed.
"Wait a second, I'll get money!" Akira exclaimed, "HEY, CAN ANYBODY LEND US SOME MFSHHSHD-" Hiroko put a hand on Akira's mouth to shut him up.
All eyes were on the two. Hiroko Akira and then walked away from the restaurant.
"Akira! Are you insane!? You don't shout and ask people walking around for money!" Hiroko loudly shouted, infuriated.
Akira shivered.
"Sorry...?" He said, confused.
"Well, we're still broke. And in need of food." Hiroko exclaimed.
"Let's go somewhere else. Somewhere we might get something free?" Akira tried calming her down.
"Fine." Hiroko groaned.
They decided to go to the old woman's shop(made up) in Route 10. She sold food and would sometimes give out something for free.
They walked on and on, for another half an hour. Hiroko's hunger increased, and she became more tired after every step they took. Gladly, they finally reached the small shop. Akira and Hiroko entered the shop, panting.
"Hello, children." The old woman who owned the shop smiled at both of them.
"Hello. We were hoping if you had a little something we could take? See, we both have no money with us, and we just wanted a little something to eat." Hiroko explained.
"I'll go check, dear." She smiled and went to the back of the shop. Akira began to walk around and tripped over a few plastic bags. He fell onto a big box full of Make Your Own Burger packets. One packet included, 2 buns, 2 slices of chicken, and a few sauces. Hiroko's stomach grumbled and she suddenly had an idea. She walked to Akira and helped him up. While doing that, she slid a packet into his shirt.
"Hehe, stop that, it tickles!" He laughed.
Hiroko smiled at the thought. Good food. Just then, the old lady came back.
"Well, dear, all we have for free is vegetables." She explained.
"That's okay, we'll go." Hiroko smiled at the lady and began to leave the shop.
But as they were leaving, Hiroko moved her hand off Akira's back to open the door. Then, a plastic bag slowly slid down Akira's shirt.
"Crap." Hiroko thought.
"THIEVES! YOURE THIEVES! POLICE!" The old lady screamed as she picked up the phone and began to call someone. Hiroko was pretty sure it was the police and she was right, because in a while, there was a police car outside the shop, waiting for the criminals. A police officer entered the shop.
"Are they the thieves?" He asked.
"Yes." The old woman glared at them.
"No! Wait! We aren't thieves!" Hiroko shouted, "I can prove it. My f-fr-friend fell down and while I was helping him up it must have gone up his back, on accident. We didn't steal, we just came to get something to eat." Hiroko made a fake sad face, like she was a poor girl and stepped on Akira's foot, telling him to do it too.
"Very well, we can provide you with food, what would you like?" The officer said.
"Anything, really." Hiroko innocently smiled.
"I'd like what these two almost took." He said.
The woman gave it to the officer and he paid for it.
"Thank you so much, officer." Hiroko smiled.
The police left, and so did Akira and Hiroko. They sat somewhere nearby, and ate their burgers(no, the chicken was not raw, it was cooked). They got up and headed to the house. It was a 45 minute walk, and when they finally reached the house, they ran inside and upstairs, and Hiroko was shocked to see what she saw. Isamu, Masaaki and Akane, were playing on the Wii U, eating food. Good food. Food Akira and Hiroko could have eaten without almost going to jail.
"Yo. Want some?" Isamu offered them some food. Hiroko glared at Akira.
"I may or may not have known." Akira nervously laughed.
"Yeah, you better run!!" Hiroko began to run after Akira who was trying to run away, "I'll kill you!"
"I wanted to do something with you after 4 years!"
"I don't give a crap! When it's about food, it doesn't matter!"
"I'm sorry!"
"You should be!"
"Don't kill me!"
"I'm gonna kill you!!"
"Help meeeeeee!!!"
