"Bye Mum." I said looking at the door.
"I'm sorry for doing this."
Leaving this place was the hardest thing to do. I had so many memories here. Like the time me and my best friend Alisha, found that cave and made our own cubby house.
"I know what I want to do before I leave! I'll go back to the cubby. All my happiest times were in there."
I walk to the cave looking around for the last time. I saw it. It still held all the happy times in there. This is where Alisha and I would come for a break. But for once, Alisha wasn't there to support me through the hard times.
I sat down in the small chair we brought in along with a bunch of other things. I looked at everything differently now. Every exiting thing that ever happened just all hit me. I started crying. I realised how much I would miss everything.
"I can do it! I know I can do this. I'll make it the whole way."
I finally decided to leave the cubby house taking 1 thing that kept my friendship with Alisha easy to remember.
I walked down the dirt roads to the shops. I had a little money so I bought the essentials. Bread, meat and fresh water. I was ready to go now.
