Why bother.

A pastor decided to take the Sunday of preaching off one day and golf. So he told the younger pastor that he needs to preach that day.
Happy for a day off, he goes to the golf course. His first hole he hits the ball and it lands almost directly into the hole for a hole-in-one. While he's celebrating, up in Heaven St. Peter asks God, "God, he isn't preaching today! Why'd you give him a hole-in-one?"
God simply answers, "No one knows he's golfing instead of preaching. So who's he gonna tell about his hole-in-one?"
