In the Outlands, just beyond the magical world of Chima, the ten heroes must rescue the last captive Legend Beast in the Scorpion Cave. But the team loses faith in Laval after they learn that he accidentally created this new enemy when he, months earlier, threw the Crocodile's Chi into the Gorge of Eternal Depth. Laval rushes into battle alone. The Scorpions are merciless. These are:  The Legends of Chima.

Cue to "Unleash the Power" opening song.

Laval ran into the fortress as the large rocks fell onto him, blocking the entrance and the team's view of any sign of Laval.

"No!!" Cragger screamed.

"Laval, are you okay?" Eris called worriedly.

"Laval? Laval!!" Y/N called out.

No replies as they stare worryingly and sadness.

"Surrender now. You cannot beat us. We have more soldiers, more weapons. And most of all, more Chi."

Scorm held up the glowing Chi as the Outlanders cackled. The tribes ignored them as they stare in sadness, believing Laval is gone.

"You know, he makes a very convincing argument." Bladvic suggested.

Cragger and Y/N turned to the bear like he's insane. They both shouted together unknowingly.

"We'll never surrender!!"

They look at each other in surprise. Gorzan approached them, agreeing with Bladvic.

"But, dude, where do we get more Chi?"

Y/N gave him a deadpan look.

"Guys, remember the training I've taught you?"

They all nodded before realizing it.

"That's right. I taught you all Spinjitzu. Even without Chi, you all are something much more than you can imagine. If we all fight together as one, we'll be unstoppable."

"She's right. We can't stay here. We've got to see if Laval is okay."

"I'm not worried about that liar. And you two covering for him." Worriz scoffed, glaring at him.

"Hey, laval helped each of you find your Legend Beasts. You can't abandon him now that he needs your help with the Lion Beast." Eris said.

"I agree with Eris. What kind of friends are you all if it wasn't his intention to make this new enemy in the first place?"

They all look at each other for a moment then realizing they're right as they look at their Legend Beast.

"Yeah, we started this together, we'll end it together. So come on."

Cragger hopped onto the Crocodile Beast with his father before he and the others galloped off with Y/N, in her serpent form, slithering after them with Saskia.

"Okay, fine. But I'm only fighting for you guys, not Laval." Worriz said before joining them.

The team fought off the Outlanders as they huddle around together, looking around.

"Laval?" Eris called.

"Where is he?" Cragger questioned.

"I'm not sure. But I ssure hope he's okay." Y/N hissed out, glaring up at the flying Bats that are coming down towards them.

More enemies attack. Y/N brought out her snake hands as they bite onto the Scorpion soldier's arms and she catapulted herself over to him and kicked him straight in the chest, releasing her snake hands as he went flying towards the other Scorpion soldiers that were about to attack her.

"The family that fights together..." Cragger started, firing at the Scorpion soldier with his mechanical bow.

"Stays together." Crominus finished his sentence, fighting alongside him.

"Prepare for landing. Or crashing." Razar said, whacking the Bats away with his weapon while flying on his Raven Beast with Eris and Eagle Beast.

Bear Beast rolled itself over the Spiders as they lay there stuck on its back.

"Don't stop now. You're on a roll." Worriz joked.

Saskia dodged the incoming enemies that are raising their weapon down on her. She hissed at them and whacked them away hard with her long tail.

"Take that!"

She then lunges herself at the Spider soldier, who flinched and yelped in fright. Saskia wraps herself around his neck and wrist and punches him repeatedly with his own fist. He groaned in pain and fell to the ground after she unwrap herself from him and land right beside him.

"Heh! Too bad your fists aren't as fast as your mouth."

Y/N squeezed a few enemies tight around her long tail as their faces turn purple for a second before she released them, tossing them aside. She slithered over to more enemies and brought out the new ninja star. Y/N threw it like a boomerang as it flew over to the enemies and they quickly ducked. The ninja star flew back to her as she catch it in one hand and smirked. They were about to attack when their weapons they're weilding earlier were sliced off as they fell into pieces. The Outlanders gulped. She then scared them with a loud hiss roar, making them scream in fright and ran away. Y/N chuckled and turned to see them surrounding her and she got into her position and Spinjitzu her way. Each and every one of them got pulled into the small tornado and knocked away instantly. Cragger noticed it and helped her out as he did his Spinjitzu. Once they're finished, they gave each other a high-five with a smile. Crominus looks at them with a smile.

"Alas, this subterranean chamber is just a concave geological entity." Rogon pointed.

"Huh?" Worriz questioned in confusion.

"We're inside a giant rock. And I know everything about rocks."

Rogon brought out his blaster and began to fire the giant rocks he mentioned from the cave ceiling as they all fall on the Outlanders. Some have to move out of the way or flee for their lives. He then fired at the statue of the giant Scorpion. Scorm noticed it and ran towards it.

"No! Not the Great Scorpion!"

The Scorpion soldier went into the vehicle and fired at Rogon, knocking him off of his Rhino Beast. They kept firing as the team have to get away. Suddenly, a familiar lion roar was heard. They turned to see Laval riding the Lion Beast! Y/N smiled in relief to see him okay.

"Ready to give up yet?" Cragger smirked, hopping back onto the Crocodile Beast with his father.

"Ready to be trapped in here forever?" Scorm smirked and took the gun from his soldier, who gives it to him.

He started firing the opened exit that leads the way out as the rocks fell down, blocking it. Scorm does the rest that leads to the exit.

"He's gonna bring the whole cave down with that thing." Eris warned.

Saskia slithered over to Y/N and wrapped herself around her as the team began to sprint. They were about to reach the exit when the rocks came falling down, blocking their view. They quickly stop.

"Not that way!" Worriz exclaimed.

They tried to get into another exit when more rocks came falling.

"Only one exit left!" Laval exclaimed.

Everyone sprint to the last exit as they were going as fast as they can. Scorm readied his fire.

"If he blocks that tunnel, we'll be stuck in here forver."

Just as things were about to get worst, a blue blast fired at the Outlanders, knocking Scorm off balance and causing him to accidently fire at the ceiling that's near them. The rocks came falling down on them instead and they quickly move out of the way.

"Whoa! The tunnel is fighting back, dudes." Gorzan said in surprise.

"It's not the tunnel. It's Lavertus!" Laval exclaimed in excitement.

The Wind Shadow came flying over to them towards the Outlanders. Eris took a look at the pilot and pointed out.

"Actually, it looks like Rinona is flying this one."

She then noticed Lavertus is holding onto the rope in the air attached to the Wind Shadow with a bag around him. He suddenly fall off.

"And Lavertus is... falling?"

He fell down to the ground right in front of Crominus, who's shocked to see him.

"I don't believe it's him."

Gorzan and Bladvic helped him up as Lavertus glare at the King Crocodile. Crominus gasped to see it is him and went silent. Rinona flew the Wind Shadow gracefully.

"A well-executed egress, sister. Commence counterassault posthaste." Rogon praised her.

Eris flew her Eagle Beast down to the Spiders and she knocked them out with her weapon. She looked at Rogon in shock.

"Wait, did you just call Rinona your sister?"

"This is the common nomenclature for one's female sibling, is it not?"

"Uh... Yeah, but she said she was your special friend, so I thought that meant girlfriend, which made me all, you know..."

Rogon looked at Eris in pure confusion. Eris laughed out, feeling embarrassed. Y/N shook her head amusingly.

"Ha, ha. Oh, never mind! Commcne counterassault posthaste, Rogon's sister!"

"What are they yapping about?" Rinona questioned herself.

She turned and quickly turned the Wind Shadow when the incoming fire was heading her way.

"Whoa!"

She dodged the falling rocks from the ceiling without getting hit. Lavertus brought out the Golden Chi.

"Time to raise the roof."

He knelt it down a little as a line of gold began to spread around the area. Scorm blasted out laser from his gun towards Rinona. She managed to dodged and flew straight towards the exit. Scorm wasn't letting her escape as blasted out more laser. Rinona was about to get crushed when Lavertus saved her and made the Golden Chi created a giant pillar to block the fire as she made it out alive and safe.

"Everyone, out!"

The team quickly sprint off towards the exit, listening to his order. Lavertus brought out two more Golden Chi as it created more pillars to block incoming fire from Scorm.

"I don't know how long these will hold, so go now!"

This made Laval and Y/N stop to hearing him saying to leave him behind.

"I'm not leaving you Lavertus." Laval said.

"We all stick together!" Y/N added.

But Lavertus just gave them a goofy smile.

"Yes, you two are. And so are you, Cragger."

Cragger had also stopped to hear Lavertus telling them to leave him behind. Cragger looked at Lavertus with a look of concern. Crominus hopped off of the Crocodile Beast and headed over to Lavertus.

"As for you, we have unfinished business, you and I, don't we, Lavertus?"

"Yes, we do."

Y/N looked at them with worry.

"Dad, what are you doing? We've got to get out of here." Cragger said.

Crominus and Lavertus faces each other as soon as they're close. Lavertus gave him a growl, ready to give him a piece of his mind. Crominus flinched at it. Suddenly, Lavertus lean over to the crocodile's ear and whispered something to him before bringing out the pink scarf that belonged to Crunket and handing it over to him. Crominus takes it and walks away with his head low. This made them worry.

"Dad, is everything okay?" Cragger asked.

Crominus said nothing and hopped back to the Crocodile Beast. Lavertus comes up behind them and smacked the butt of the Crocodile and Lion Beast, making them gallop away. Laval and Cragger let out a surprise yelp. Y/N though stood there, staring at Lavertus.

"It's alright, Y/N. Take care of your friends, especially Cragger."

In tears, Y/N gave him a nod before slithering after them, leaving Lavertus there.

"Tell my brother, your dad, that I miss him greatly, Laval."

Laval looked over his shoulder in shock.

"Huh?"

"For Chima! And for my sweet, sweet Crunket."

Lavertus placed the mask of ShadoWind on. Y/N turned away sadly.

"Lavertus! ShadoWind!" Laval shouted.

Rocks fall down on Lavertus, disappearing from their view. Laval looked back to see any sign of him.

"Can't stop! It's all coming down!" Cragger said.

"He's sadly right! We have to go!" Saskia said.

"Come on, Laval. This is what Lavertus wants." Cragger urged.

"Don't let his sacrifice be for nothing." Y/N said, looking at him.

Laval reluctantly follow after them as they ran and ran from falling rocks. Then, they finally made it out before the cave was blocked by those fallen rocks. Y/N turned back to her normal form and looked back at the blocked cave.

"Lavertus..."

Cragger placed a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. Just then, someone popped out from the pile of giant rocks with little space left to reveal Scorm.

"This isn't over, Lion. I'll find a way out of here. And then I'll grab all your Chi."

Laval brought out his sword with a Chi out and goes to attack him when he stopped. Lion Beast approached him.

"You know, I learned something today. These orbs aren't everything. There's a little bit of Chi inside all of us and--"

"Oh, just stop blabbering and give me the Chi already!"

Scorm held out a hand to grab the Chi.

"You really want it? You just have to ask."

Laval gave the Chi to Scorm. This left the King Scorpion shocked by his sudden kindness.

"But-- But-- What are you doing?"

"This is what we do with Chi in Chima. We share it."

The big rock then fell and block the hole where Scorm was, trapping him.

"Use it well. Use it wisely."

Everyone then left to go back home.

They finally made it to Mount Cavora where the Lion Temple is. Lagravis saw them and smiled.

"Laval?"

He went over to the big horns and let out a loud roar for all the tribes to hear to let them know they've returned with their Legend Beasts. All the tribes made it to the Lion Temple as they approached the heroes.

"This is one of the happiest days in the history of Chima. All the Legend Beasts have returned. And so has my son." Lagravis said and hugged Laval.

Crunket approached her husband and her son with a relived smile on her face. Crominus hopped off the Crocodile Beast and approached her.

"Oh, my queen, words cannot express the joy I feel to see you again."

"Who needs words? Just hug me."

Crominus and Crunket hugged each other. Y/N smiled at the reunion they're having. Though it saddened her that she still didn't get to find a way home and have a reunion like that with her ninja friends. Cragger noticed it and gave her a hug, surprising her. She then returned the hug, thanking him. Saskia joined in. Once Crominus and Crunket pulled away, he approached Lagravis.

"I owe you an apology, Lagravis."

Lagravis pointed at himself with a raised brow.

"Me?"

"Yes. When last we spoke, I said some things. I greatly misjudged your son and all the lions. They are truly among the most noble tribes in all of Chima."

"That, Crominus, was the best apology ever."

Lagravis smiled and both of the kings shook hands.

"Hey, we couldn't have done this without that rocking Croc Cragger." Laval said.

"Yes, but perhaps the one we owe the most to is Lavertus."

Lagravis was shocked.

"What? You saw my brother?"

"Whoa, so it's true?" Laval asked in surprise.

"That's shocking..." Y/N commented.

"Dude, that means your uncle is ShadoWind. Sweet." Gorzan said with a smile.

"What are you talking about? Lavertus had been in exile for years for stealing our Chi." Lagravis said, not believing this is true.

"That's not exactly what happened."

Crominus looked down and began to explain everything on how he and Lavertus were competing over the love for Crunket. Y/N was beyond shocked to hear such tragic love story as she was sitting next to Cragger listening the rest of the story.

"It was all my fault. And I feel terrible for what I did to him. Those Persuader Plants have brought us nothing but trouble." Crominus said after finishing his story.

"Oh, I wouldn't say that." Crooler smirked deviously, making Y/N hiss at her.

"I never realized until today how truly noble Lavertus had been."

"But what did he whispered to you in the cave before it collapsed?" Laval asked curiously.

"He said he hated me all these years. But then he met this extraordinary young Crocodile here." Crominus said, looking at his son.

"Who, me?" Cragger pointed at himself, looking surprised.

"Yes. If Lavertus and I had continued to fight over Queen Crunket, one of Chima's greatest heroes may have never been born."

"He called me a great hero? Did you hear that? Huh? Huh?"

Cragger tapped Laval's shoulder repeatedly with an excited look.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever."

"Lavertus now understood the true purpose of his exile, his sacrifice. Then he handed me this scarf and said, 'Keep them safe.'"

Crominus brought out the pink scarf and wrapped it around Crunket's neck. This made her sob at the loss of Lavertus. Y/N immediately come over to her aid and rub her back soothingly, making her smile in appreciation. Crominus turned to Lagravis and went down on his knee, bowing.

"Please, please, please, forgive me for what I've done, Lagravis. I'll do anything to make it up to you. I'll pledge my servitude forever."

"No, we shall exist as equals and allies in peace. That is what Lavertus would have wanted."

Lagravis helped him up. Crominus looked at his friend, feeling relieved, happy, and grateful.

"Let us now save Mount Cavora together. For Chima! And for Lavertus!"

Everyone let out the cheer.

The heroes then made it to the Mount Cavora with the Legend Beasts along with Y/N and Saskia as they would like to see where this is going.

"So tell me, Laval, how did you ever beat those powerful Outland Tribes?" Lagravis asked.

"Sometimes it's not about power, Dad. Sure, they were stronger, and had more Chi. But in a way, not having Chi liberated us. We had to rely more on each other. And on our inner strength, our inner Chi. Even, this."

Laval proceed to do Spinjitzu before turning it off. Lagravis was surprised at that.

"We couldn't have done it with the help of our friend Y/N and Saskia."

Y/N gave the king a smile, showing him her snake power. Saskia gave him a hiss, showing him a smile with her fangs out. Lagravis turn to his son with proudness.

"Oh, yes, son. There is a little piece of Mount Cavora in all of us."

"That's why the Legend Beasts never drank the Chi water in The Great Story. They knew that. And as promised, they showed it to us when we needed it most."

Suddenly, the Legend Beasts let out their call and began to sprint towards the Mount Cavora. Their bodies began to glow blue like the orb and took off into the air. Everyone gasp in awe as the Legend Beasts flew around the Mount Cavora and then head into the mouth of the statue head animals in their rightful place. Each of them went inside and the statue heads made the eyes and mouth glow blue with different animal sounds.

"Whoa."

Then glowing blue water began to fall down, creating a pool of Chi. Everyone cheered for victory as the Mount Cavora is now saved and restored. This also flow into the Lion Temple's pool and filling it up.

"Amazing..." Y/N gasped.

"Wow, but whatever happened to the Legend Beasts?" Eris asked.

"Don't know, but I'm sure they'll be back when we need them most. Just like The Great Story says." Laval said.

Everyone watched as the waterfall flow gracefully. Everything is now in peace. Or so they thought. Not knowing that Scorm accidentally brought out another trouble that's deep, deep into the Eternal Depth.
