Welcome to Class!
English. It was one of Alex's least favorite classes. It wasn't that he was bad at it, the subject was just boring. He liked reading well enough, but analyzing books and poems was just exhausting.
On most days Zex would be around in this period. Annoying, but generally helpful. They often gave him answers to questions that he was to distracted to hear. His little companion was no where to be found however, leaving him to stew in his boredom.
Until the door of the classroom opened. He expected a teacher or some other member of the faculty, so he continued staring at his desk. He did jerk his head up when he heard the sentence,"Go sit in the empty seat next to Alex."
He looked up and met the blue eyes of who he could only assume was a new student. Their brown hair was pushed to the side, it was long enough to cover their eyebrow on the right side of their face. Their face was angular, surely if they lived somewhere else they would be scouted for modeling.
They (he?) grinned at him. He felt his face grow warm and looked quickly down. If Maddie found out she would absolutely tease him for this. Especially since the boy was the stereotypical attractive male.
He sat next to him, then something strange happened with the light around him. Maybe it was just Alex's eyes going funny, but he the boy almost seemed to glitch. His features pulled in an odd way before returning to their intended position.
They grinned at him again, then the teacher began speaking again. Alex continued sneaking glances at the new boy, he hadn't paid enough attention to have heard his name.
While staring down at his desk a paper appeared there. It read,"It's me". Was the new student a fan of Fazbear Freddy's? Or was Alex just a loser for that being the connection he made?
He looked to they boy... Only to see he has grown a pair of red horns just above his ears. Familiar red horns...
The bell conveniently rang.
"Zex?" He whispered as the left the class.
"The one and only!" His voice no longer had the echoey sound it usually had, but it was still a bit high pitched. Especially for his new height,"I have to say, I'm much more satisfied with that reaction over when we first met."
Damn, he'd noticed his face flushing,"Yeah, yeah, just don't tell Maddie. I'll never hear the end of it."
The demon just grinned and continued to follow him.
