Why do people stare?!

Silence filled the room.

"Ok, ladies, were closing up for the day." Kyoya said, and all the girls pouted.

Everyone said their goodbyes and it was just me, Ri, and the host club.

"So, let us get this straight." "Your gay?" The twins said, chuckling at their joke.

"Yep." I said, hugging Ritsu and he blushed a tad bit. I laughed at the joke as well.

"Is that a problem?" I asked, still in my sweet voice, but now my eyes showed my intent.

The twins shook their heads violently, looking scared, running back over to a corner to go do twin things, I guess.

My attention returned to the group when Honey spoke up.

"So Hi-chan likes Ri-chan?" Honey asked Mori.

Mori nodded, not taking his eyes off of the two of us, shock, deep in his eyes.

Ritsu walked up to Mori and shook his hand.

Ritsu said something, but I couldn't hear it. Mori's face brightened a tad after, but Mori ushered Honey over to the cake and let him continue to eat.

Kyoya wrote things down in his black book and walked off, probably to do taxes or something.

To my surprise, all of the host club members were huddled up, besides Haruhi.

She noticed me looking, and she smiled at me. She came up to me and smiled at the two of us.

"I'm glad your happy, you two." Haruhi said, giving me a kind smile.

She turned to Ritsu and leaned him down to her ear level.

"If you do anything to hurt Ritsu, you'll regret it, you hear me?" Haruhi whispered, making Ritsu turn pale white.

Then, all of the host club split up from their group, a wierd mix of a smile and a frown on their faces.

Kyoya came up to me and stared me down. "Hibiki, due to the new circumstances, we have some new rules in place for you." He said, cold and calculating.

I looked back at the rest of the host club and all of their faces turned away from me.

'That's wierd. Their normally up in my face or something else. Oh well.' I thought, dismissing the looks.

"What do you mean?" I asked, not really concerned.

"You are not allowed to make any apparent moves on the host club. After all, we cater to girls. Also, we would appreciate if you didn't come to the club for a bit. We need some time to reconsider some aspects of the clubs policy." Kyoya said, looking back at his notebook and avoiding my eyes.

"What!?" I asked, incredulous.

The room got a couple of degrees colder as realization hit me.

"Why the heck would you guys think I would hit on you! I'm still the same Hibiki I was a month ago, only I have a love now. What's wrong with me being gay?!??" I said, offended and kinda hurt.

My own club, rejecting me because I'm gay.

'As much as these people are crazy, I've grown on them. I thought they liked me for who I was.' I thought, upset.

"Do you all feel this way?" I asked, my heart breaking.

"Of course not Hibiki. We all like you just the way you are! Right, guys?" Haruhi asked, looking back at the rest of the club.

Kyoya's writting stopped, mid stride, before he sighed and continued to write.

Honey's flowers stopped appearing and Mori was more quieter than normal.

The twins famous smirk was wiped clean off their face, instead replaced with grimaces.

Tamaki came up to me and tried to say something, but Ritsu stepped in front of me.

"Tamaki, no. You'll have done enough damage." Ritsu said, hugging me tighter.

I felt his anger and resentment roll off of him in waves.

'That's right, he likes to hang out in the host club as well.' I thought looking up at Ritsu and his troubled chocolate eyes. A sudden anger sparked into me and I felt it ignite rage.

I grabbed Ritsu's hand and sighed. "If this is how all of you feel, then I quit the host club." I said, looking angrily at Kyoya.

I grabbed my tail and gloves and threw them on the ground. "And you can take your stupid costume back as well. I'm never coming back!" I shouted, grabbing Ritsu's hand and about to run out the door.

"Haruhi, you are the only good among evil. Keep the good in you." I said, coldly, like Kyoya would.

I felt everyone try and grab me and I screamed, overwhelmed with anger and frustration.

"How dare you try to comfort me when you clearly don't want me here! I hate all of you, you homophobic freaks!!" I screamed, running out the door, with Ritsu filling me.

I slammed the door shut, not even looking back.

The group I called my second family, no longer that.

I heard Haruhi running up behind me, and I sighed, slowing down slightly.

"Hey, Hibiki, Ritsu. Look, I'm sorry for how they were asking. It clearly wasn't right and I don't know what's gotten into them. I'm about to head to the supermarket, do you guys want to head with me?" She offered.

Ritsu shook his head and sighed. "I have practice tonight. Sorry Haruhi and Hibi. You two have fun." He said, walking off to the exit.

She turned to me and I smiled at her. "Sure Haruhi. I'll go with you. Just give me a sec." I said, giving her a small smile.

I caught up to Ritsu and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.

"See you tomorrow, Ri." I said, as I joined up with Haruhi.

*time skip to the supermarket*

"Thank you for going with me to the market, Hibiki." Haruhi said, and I shrugged it off.

"No big deal, Haruhi." I said, and she looked behind her.

"What?" I asked, looking back too.

Nothing was there.

"I thought I saw something. Guess it was my imagination." Haruhi said, walking into the store.

I followed behind her, as I glanced back once more.

I saw a pair of eyes, as black as coal, stare at me. They disappeared quickly, but I still knew they were there.

Watching me.
