Revealing

Later that day

There is a time in every person's life when you have to ask yourself how much shit you are willing to put up? Because the amount of shit coming from Rumlow, Hodge, and Rollins was incredibly idiotic and she was so waiting for the right moment to punch them in the face.

She would never do that... well maybe not at school but the chances of her punching this kid was high. Given her current situation if she got in a fight it would not help with her case. Her parents would probably kill her. But if there were no consequences at all, and she could do whatever she so pleased, let's just say that Rumlow would never be able to go in bed with anyone else ever again.

"You know, Rogers doesn't deserve you, he can't show a girl like you what she really wants."

"A girl like me?" She asked.

"You know hot, firey, just a bitch." Did Rumlow really believe that these words can get him laid? Were there women out there who listen to this and thought, omg I wish I could be in bed with him? If so she pitied these women and hoped that they'd figure out who he was before they do something that they will most definitely regret in the morning.

"You are really a sweet talker aren't you Rumlow? Do you dipshits get your skills from him?" She asked. Natasha was in the cafeteria waiting for Steve and everyone else. She normally didn't come here, she liked hanging out with Maria in the computer room, but ever since they both started dating it's become a regular spot. Rumlow has taken it upon himself to come early and sit at their table, knowing everyone else had classes on the other side of the school.

"Now now now, Romanoff, a woman like you should watch your words." He said. "We wouldn't want the daughter of Russia's most wealthy man to say foul things like that now would we." Natasha paused for a moment, before looking up at Rumlow.

"I have no idea what you are talking about."

"Really Natalia?"

"I don't know who Natalia is but if she heard you spreading rumors, you'd probably be in for some trouble."

"What's wrong? Don't want anyone knowing that your daddy practically owns Russia? That he's to blame for most of its problems?"

"Why do you think you believe this about me?"

"Because I have some friends in some very high places."

"What do you want?" She asked.

"Break up with Rogers, you and I can and will be something better." He smirked. Natasha wanted to laugh, did he really think he could blackmail her? As he said, her father was a powerful man. It wasn't like she was trying to completely hide who she was, she just didn't want people to treat her differently or start asking for favors. But she met a group of people who are really great people, she knew they'd never treat her any differently. Besides her connections allowed her some.. passionate friends.

"No."

"If you want the entire school to know who you are."

"Go ahead." She smirked. "I don't care. I don't care what you go tell the entire school. But remember, you aren't the only one with friends in high places. Just know you shouldn't mess with me, cause if you mess with me, you're sure to regret it."

"You don't scare me."

"And a toad-like you doesn't scare me at all." She looked over and saw her friends walking over to her. "I don't care if people know who my parents are, I don't care if they have a belief about who I am based on who my father is. I don't care. I have much better things in life, more promising matter to worry about then your sorry ass life."

"You really should be nicer to me, you might regret it."

"So should you."

"Your host family can't save you."

"No, but they can get your ass kicked out of this school faster then you can even think about it." She smiled. "I am sure the principal would love to know you are stocking me, finding out all this useless information that will get you nowhere."

"Babe you have messed with the wrong person,"

"I could say the same about you Mr. Rumlow." A voice rang out, Rumlow turned around to see Nick standing before him.

"Can I help you? I'm not doing anything wrong."

"Really?" He asked. "Why don't you tell me all about your life on the way to my office?" he said. "You too Rollins, Hodge, let's all have a conversation in my office."

"You can't give her special treatment just because you're pretending to be her dad." He spits.

"No, but I can do my job as principal, and stocking a student is definitely against school policy." Rumlow looked over at Natasha who held up her phone that was calling Nick.

"Like I said Rumlow, I know people."

"You're a spoiled brat and you always will be,"

"Okay let's go," Nick said and the group started walking, Nick gave a nod to Natasha. Like she didn't have enough problems, now she knew Rumlow would be ten times more annoying then he was before. She also had to worry about her next math test, whenever that grade will come in will determine her future here, who knew maybe Rumlow wouldn't be the toughest problem she'd have to face.

"Hey Red!" Tony yelled taking a seat across from her, Pepper smiled politely sitting beside Tony.

"Hey," Steve said with a small smile. "What was that about, looked intense?"

"Rumlow was being an ass," She replied. "I'm okay."

"You sure?"

"Yeah Nat, you sure?" Bucky teased. "I am sure Steve would just love to get in a fight for you, does it all time anyways."

"No, I really don't need to bail you out of jail for breaking his nose."

"You sure?" He asked with a teasing smile.

"you're a dork." She shook her head. The rest of the lunch was much more peaceful, much more loving. She loved her group of friends, despite how annoying they could possibly be. She wished she could hang out with Steve afterschool but she had to pass Monday's test, she couldn't go back home. She didn't ever want to go back, she finally feels content and happy.

"You're still not getting it."

"Really Tony? I didn't know that, thanks for pointing that out." She said dropping her pencil and putting her hands on her face.

"What's stressing you little red?"

"Don't Tony, I am not in the mood."

"It's just one test the world won't end if you fail it."

"I can't go back!" She said in a stressful moment of panic. Tony was silent before looking at her with a questioning gaze.

"Go back where?" he asked.

"Home," She shrugged. She wasn't going to say anything but she remembered her thoughts from earlier. She didn't care if her friends knew who she was. Besides, it was getting hard with all of Tony's questions she agreed to answer in exchange for tutoring.

"Where's home?"

"Russia," She started. "My dad is Ivan Romanova."

"The rich billionaire? Really? You're like me!"

"I am nothing like you," She claimed.

"Don't hate me cause you're jealous." He smirked. "So why hide it?"

"I'm not you Tony, I don't like boasting about the amount of money I have."

"You think I do? My father does enough boasting for the both of us. I have apparently had a reputation created for me,"

"I know how that feels."

"I can't believe I didn't recognize you as a billionaire,"

"I don't have money, my parents do." She clarified. "I don't want any of their money. Besides it's not like they want me, I have been sent away so many times, and for once I actually like where I am. But if I don't pass this class I am being sent back. I don't want to be sent back."

"Hey, it's cool," Tony said. "We will spend the entire day studying okay?"

"I don't want to bother you,"

"Hey, I know it may not seem like it but I like you here. As much as Rogers and I fight, I don't hate him. I've never seen as happy as he is now with you," he sighed. "Besides I know first hand what it's like for parents to put their money above their child."

"You really have a good heart, Tony."

"Eww don't go around telling anyone that." He said. "I can't have anyone think I am a nice person. So what do you say? You wanna head over to mi casa and learn this shit?"

"Tomorrow, I can't possibly think any longer." She said. She realized she'd have to cancel on Steve again. But it would all be worth it in the end right? Besides her schooling should come first.

"Okay red, I'll meet you tomorrow." He smiled and grabbed his books and backpack. "Text me,"

"Sure."

Once home, Natasha walked to her room and collapsed on her bed. Why couldn't life be simple? Why couldn't she know all the answers to any question given to her? Why couldn't she just have a weekend to enjoy what she has with Steve?

She sighed and pulled out her phone texting Steve the bad news.

She sighed and decided to take a nap, she was going to need all the energy in the world if she was going to have a weekend of Stark.
