The next morning, Anita was still in disbelief of what she had discovered on her first day at Kaibara Municipal High School. 

That the popular students, the Sohma clan, had a family secret: They possess the animal zodiac spirits as a curse.

Although, the only person who knew the family secret, was Tohru Honda, a classmate that she just met, living with them as well.

Anita didn't mean to find out the secret on purpose, as that it was just a simple mishap, an accident. 

"Oh, hi, Anita." She turns around to see Tohru who was waiting for her. "Oh, Tohru. Where are the others?"

"Hm... well, things had been more um, complicated back at the house after last night. " She replied as they walked together.

"Really? Did something occur after I left the house?" Anita asked her friend curiously, as Tohru sweats. 

"Well... after you left, Kyo and Yuki decided to a brawl." 

"A b-brawl inside the house?!? Tohru, did you or Shigure stop them?" Anita asked, worried about the boys' reckless behavior.

"Don't worry, it's very normal for those two. Their relationship is one of a kind." Tohru said, reassuring, as Anita sweats by the lack response.

"Tohru, you're the only person I ever met who considers that the animal zodiac spirits curse, "normal".

Honestly, I couldn't believe that Arisa and Saki never knew about the zodiac curse, or that the fact that you keep all this craziness to yourself all this time.

Have you ever wanted to tell them one day?" Anita asked her. It was a silence pause, letting Anita's question sink in.

Tohru never kept an important secret from her two best friends like this, they had been together since middle school, almost like sisters. 

As Tohru was thinking, a slight tap touch Anita's shoulder, as it was no other than Momiji. The blond teen looked slightly embarrassed about the whole incident, as that Anita and Tohru was stunned to see the young teen.

"Oh, morning, Momiji. " Anita greeted him, as the blond boy bowed his head in slight apology. "I'm so sorry!

It's my selfish, unreadable decision to go to the hospital. I didn't know that you would find out the family secret, I swear!" 

"Momiji, it's not like you didn't want it to happen. Accidents happen, we all make mistakes once an while." Tohru said, being reasonable with him. 

"Tohru's right. Besides, how could I known that you'll transform into the zodiac rabbit? It was an unexpected surprise for me, too." Anita concurred. 

"So... you're not mad at me for transforming?" He asked Anita, as she waves, "It's fine! I will not speak to no one about this. 

Who would believe Tohru or me about all of this, anyway?"

As the trio went inside, Arisa walked over to the group. "So, Anita, what happened yesterday? Did you go somewhere?"

"Yes. I was invited to see where Tohru and the Sohma lived." She replied. 

Arisa smirked, "Ooh, I see. So, did the delinquent cause you some trouble in his house?" 

When Kyo heard that, he approach her, as that he was annoyed at her, as that she made him flip overboard without hesitation, which made Anita gasped in shock. 

"Are you ok, Kyo?!? " She asked, worried about his condition. 

The orange-haired teen rubbed his head, "Yeah, seriously, Arisa, you don't have to make me fall like an idiot in front of Anita, don't you?"

She said, "I figured it would be fun. Besides, you really had this bad habit of making trouble ." 

He was annoyed, as the other students in their class sighed as that none of the things ever surprised them anymore.

"It appears that Arisa made Kyo mad again. " 

"The semester just barely started and it really looks like things haven't changed in the slightest." 

Anita was amazed how the students were gradually adapting to the Sohmas' craziest attaics. 

As the school was ending, Anita was walking along to see Momiji, a limousine came towards her. 

A man appeared before her, as that she never seen him before in her life. 

"Who is he?" She begins to think, but then, there was Yuki who came barging to protect her. 

"Why you here, Hatori?"

"Yuki, you know this. Aiko wants to see her." He replied, which Anita points to herself, "To see me?

Wait, Yuki, you know this person?" 

Yuki sighs, "Yes, as you know about the family secret now, this is Hatori Sohma. He is the Dragon Zodiac." 

Anita was so stunned. "A member of the Sohmas. Wow, first I meet Momiji who has the rabbit zodiac spirit, now I meet the Dragon spirit zodiac. 

I guess there is a lot of members of the Sohmas I haven't met who has the curse. Talk about a weird taste of fate." 

Hatori gestures Anita to get inside. "C'mon, we have to go." Anita gulped. She never met this Aiko or what is he want with her. 

"Be careful. Aiko is the family head. Things can turn deadly." Yuki warns her, as that hearing that warning makes her terrified . 

As the two of them head into the family esate area, Anita couldn't believe how massive the Sohma family esate was.

"Amazing..." Anita said, as she followed Hatori to a room. "Wait here." 

He went inside, making her curious of the appearance of the head of the family would look like.

"Let this person in." A voice said, as Anita gulped in freight. 

But to her ultimate surprise, the head of the family... had a huge secret that not even Yuki or Tohru would never imagined that gender of the family head was. 

"No way..." Anita exclaimed, gasp of what she had seen right in front of her.

Back at the house, Kyo and Tohru was stunned to learn that Hatori had taken their friend to the esate. 

"Why does Hatori had to bring Anita there?!? Anita doesn't deserve to meet that b*itch." 

"Now, calm yourself, Kyo. Anita has to meet Akito because she learn of the secret ." Tohru exclaim, trying to calm the orange teen down.

He sighs, as he walked himself up to the rooftop . He gazes at the stars, as that Tohru decided to join him to keep him company. 

"Whenever you loose your temper, you always go up here, that hasn't change." Tohru said, as she loosen her ponytail. 

"I'm sorry, Tohru. It's just... Anita is our friend. I didn't want her to have such a burden." He said to her. 

Although, Kyo wasn't truly honest with Tohru. In secret, he knew about Tohru, her entire life with her mother, and that he wanted to protect her. 

But... he doesn't want her to know the hidden truth, that he had known her as a child, and despite of it, he was actually there on the day that Tohru's mother, Kyoko Honda died by a car accident. 

"Kyo? Is everything all right?" Tohru asked him, being curious of what he is thinking about. 

The orange-hair teen looked at Tohru's eyes, as he was mesmerize of them. As the two teen silently looked at each other, Yuki said, "Tohru, Kyo, Anita's here!" 

The two teens slightly walked down from the rooftop. "What I suppose to say now?" Both of them thought in the same time. 

Anita was nervous coming back to the house. Although, the surprising chance to meet Aiko was something she never suspect at all. 

Flashback: 

Anita blinked, looking at Aiko's figure. She never imagine of seeing another girl in an estate like the Sohmas.

"Anita, was it?" Aiko asked, "What a surprising turn of events that another girl was able to know the curse beside Honda." 

"You're a girl? Why you keep that a secret from Yuki and the other Sohmas?" She asked her, as that she sighs. 

"They don't know about my sex because they're too young to know yet. Besides, no one shouldn't know about this secret, not even Honda herself." 

"Aiko, isn't that a burden, to hide your true identity from the world?"

"What you care, you have everything!" She threw a bottle at her, which leaves her a scar across her cheek. 

"Akio, it's not like I would betray my friends. Besides, I would not do anything without your permission ." She said. 

Aiko scoffed, "Get out of my sight. " 

As Anita leaves the estate all she can do before coming to the Sohmas , was breathing heavily as that she ultimately terrified of her. 

"It's like she was a snake. Her eyes, it's full of hatred, was it because I know the curse, or is it because that she was lonely like me?"

Tohru, Kyo and Yuki looked at Anita's scar. "Oh my, what happened?" 

"Oh, it's just a accident. No biggie. " Anita said, trying to reassure the group , then she looked around the room, looking for Momiji.

"Is Momiji around?" She asked. Tohru said, "I think he already left, hasn't he?"

"That little kid already said he would leave, he wanted to be alone." Kyo said, concurring with Tohru's answer. 

"Oh." She said, as Yuki smiled, "Don't worry about him. Do you want sleep over for the night, if you want." 

"Oh, I don't want to be a bother to all of you!" She said, blushing. "C'mon, I can teach you some moves, so you can practice karate moves to defend yourself from desperate b-" Kyo said, but Yuki just annoyed of what he would say next as he flipped the teen over.

"Be quiet for once, stupid cat." He said, sighing of his antics. 

As the girls were dressing up, Yuki was going to clean up Tohru's bed and set up a futon for Anita.

As he did, he noticed something unexpected as his eyes widen of what he has seen. 

It was the same hat that he had given Tohru a long time ago, when he was a kid. 

"No way." He said.
