Percy's POV:

I looked at Artemis with a small smile and scratched the back of my head.

"Perseus you better tell me exactly what happened" Artemis demanded with a cold look in her eyes

"I don't know Arty, I was just pulled away during the flashing, ended up in a cave a ways back" I said omitting my talk with a primordial "Anyways I'm safe and in one piece, you need to stop worrying about me" I say softly as she stares at me and nods

"Fine, but if I find out your lying... your going to wish for the fields of punishment" She said threateningly "Now come on old man, it's time for you to teach those new hunters" she said and I smiled softly as she lead me through the camp

We came up to the dueling arena the hunters had set up and I saw them attempting to spar with a familiar face. I smirked when I saw the newest hunters getting beat back easily. However despite my quick glance I could already tell that they had some quick training in the basics of spear combat.

"Girls!" Artemis announced our presence loudly causing everyone to stop and look at us

The older hunters smiled when they saw me while the newest ones narrowed their eyes and leveled their spears at me.

"Kelp head! About time you got here, you might need a cane soon if you start moving any slower" a girl said with a smirk as she walked up and hugged me

"I'm as spry as I was in the second Titan war Thals" I said defensively as I hugged her back

When we pulled apart I looked at the new girls to see them glaring daggers and I smiled gently at them.

"I see they picked up the man hating quickly" I said to Artemis and Thalia as I motioned to them

"Very much so, they have some unique cases and haven't trusted men for a few years" Thalia explained and I nodded

"Understood, I'll give them their space during training" I said as I walked forward and looked at the gathered hunters "Afternoon, as Artemis might have explained earlier I am here to help train you in the fundamentals of the more common weaponry that demigods use. Such as spears and swords as well as hand to hand" I explained as I took a position of parade rest with my feet spread and my hands behind my back

"And why would Lady Artemis go to you? Your old and a male, your more than likely supposed to be a punching bag for us" a new huntress who had lime green dyed hair shouted causing the others to laugh

I simply smirked before giving a challenging look towards the girl. She saw it and I saw her tense before she charged me with her spear pointed at my stomach.

"I'll kill you for entering our camp!" She said and as she reached me she thrusted forward with all her might

I simply sidestepped at the last second and brought my right hand down and forced the tip of the spear into the ground. This action forced her to pivot over the spear before I reached up and grabbed her collar before throwing her down onto the ground roughly. She slid on her back until she was at the feet of her sisters dazed and confused at what happened.

After my movement I went back to my previous position of parade rest and looked at them with a serious look.

"Rule one, never underestimate your opponent. If you do not know your opponent like the back of your hand then do not assume anything. Never rush blindly into a fight" I stated as I grabbed the spear and flipped it around before handing the butt of the spear to the hunter who was still on the ground

She took it and I helped her up before giving her the spear.

"For those who do not know, this is Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon, hero of Olympus thrice over, ambassador of the sea, General of Olympus, personal advisor to Zeus, bane of giants, bane of Kronos, Traverser of Tartarus, leader of Camp Half-blood" Artemis said and I groaned as she listed my titles "I told you all to be respectful when I arrive with a guest, yet you have attacked him brazenly, be thankful he has a kind nature" she said and everyone looked at me with fear but I shrugged my shoulders

"You forgot boyfriend of Artemis" I started causing the goddess to go red faced as Thalia snickered

"We don't use that one as official titles you seaweed brained imbecile" she growled but I shrugged again

"Anyway, back to training, I want you to all to take a stance with your spears, we will go through a few move sets before I call it a day and I will create a unique training schedule for each of you" I stated seriously as the girls nodded and started to take their stances

For the next few hours I walked around watching them go through the motions and I nodded to myself as I slowly put together a schedule for them, the same thing happened with swords. At the end of the day I settled down in the tent that Thalia had set up for me which was on a hill near a small spring.

Normally I would have my tent next to Artemis' but I had a lot to think about and didn't want to be disturbed.

Artemis' POV:

I watched as the love of my life went into his tent and started working. I smiled softly at him before turning to my hunters who were exhausted.

"Milady, why didn't you just say your boyfriend was coming to train us?' Phoebe asked as she was drinking from a canteen

"Because, I wanted it to be a surprise" I said simply causing the others to roll their eyes

"Lady Artemis, why are you dating though? What happened to, 'turn your back on the company of men'?" The hunter that had attacked Percy asked

"Well, in the past that was true, I scorned any and all males. There were a few who were, interesting. But none the less I hated them all. However Perseus is different. Where others would run away, he would run towards, and when others sought violence he sought peace. He never once asked for anything in return for his deeds, never once disrespected me or the hunt, and has always told me the truth even if it would have gotten in trouble. He is, for lack of a better term, perfect. He does have flaws, he is impulsive at times even at his current age, and he is loyal to a fault. He was the hunter that captured my heart" I said and they all looked at me "now in the past if you told me you were dating a male I would have shot both you and the male without a second thought, but nowadays it's different, as long as that male is like Percy, and won't cheat on you or force you into anything, then you can leave the hunt, but should you lose your maidenhood you won't be accepted back" I explained and they nodded "other than that, however most males are filthy pigs who don't know how to treat women" I said with a smirk causing the other girls to mirror my expression

"So he is the diamond that was found among coal?" The girl asked and I smiled

"You would be correct Gwen" I said as everyone smiles and walked back to their tents for the night
