A/N: One of my favorite chapters I got to write! I hope you all enjoy it! Let's get right back into the story!

After Mirio's battle, we decided to visit him at Recover Girl's office. He was doing just fine, but he needed to rest up after getting his rib cage smashed in repeatedly by Homura, but somehow he managed to sit up when talking to us. "Tamaki... I wish you the best of luck out there! Don't give up!" The injured yet enthusiastic Mirio giving his words of encouragement to Tamaki before entering the next and final battle of the first bracket. "Thank you Mirio. Please get some rest at least."
"Sure thing! Oh hey (Y/N)! Can I talk to you for a minute?"
I looked back at Mirio a bit confused, but I nodded. "I'll join you guys in a second." waving goodbye to Tamaki and Nejire as they stepped out. I walked up to Mirio with a curious look on my face. "Alright broski, whatcha wanna talk about?"
"Well, I was going to ask you if I did a good job out there? I feel like I could have improved my approach and gain us the victory. Then again, that Homura girl was really strong, but maybe-"
"Mirio you did incredibly well. Even if you didn't win, you still stood your ground and gave it all you could. Don't doubt yourself on your strength... instead, learn from it all. Mostly because when we spar again I know your weakness to beat you now." Jokingly letting out a laugh to lighten the mood. Mirio couldn't help himself but join in on the laughing. "Keep dreaming, (Y/N)! I'll be ready to beat you once again. After all, I have to keep my winning streak until we graduate."
"I'll hold you to it Mirio. Now I have to go catch up with Nejire to cheer on Tamaki at least and after that... I'll have my fight with Kaitai. After what he did to Nejire, I'll make sure he feels that pain twice as hard."
"You're right. I know you'll give him hell for hurting her." With a small chuckle before he smiled at me. "Hey, thank you for the pep talk... It means a lot to me to have friends like you guys." I couldn't help but smile from hearing his comment. "Why wouldn't I? We are all best of friends and we got each other's back."
"You got that right! Go cheer Tamaki on for the both of us."
"You bet I will! See you later Mirio!" As I stormed out to catch up with Nejire and Tamaki.

Tamaki was getting a bit nervous before heading out that Nejire was trying to cheer him up. "Hey, Tamaki!" As I called out and his face was visibly shaking from the fear of going out on stage. "Looks like I made it in time. Tamaki... you're going to do great out there. Don't worry about everyone and focus on yourself. You are strong and we will all be supporting you every second!"
"Yeah, we will! (Y/N) and I will be cheering you on so you don't have to worry. Also, don't be a scaredy-cat!" Nejire continuing to lend her support for Tamaki. He smiled at us and nodded. "This is my first time being out here on a stage like this before. A-are you sure it's going to be alright?" I can understand Tamaki's concern because it is very nerve-wracking when it comes to being on stage with everyone watching you. However, this kind of event will help us in the future to get into good agencies that will surely get us to the top of the pro hero ranking list. "It's going to be alright, Tamaki. No matter what happens out there, just give it your all and don't give up!" Tamaki stood there hearing my motivational advice as he smiled softly before putting his hand on my shoulder. "You share the same sunshine that Mirio has. I can see how you two connect so well. Thank you, (Y/N)." As Tamaki pulled out some food and started eating it. I wasn't sure what it was that he ate, but hopefully, it will help him in his fight today. As he turned around and started headed out the door. Seeing the light coming through the door as it reflected off of Tamaki was truly endearing and relieving. He is heading out to one of the biggest events at UA, and it makes me happy to know that we all got this far together. "Let's go Nejire. We have to give him all of our support."
"Right! Let's pour our hearts out there for Tamaki." With a cheerful jump before taking my hand as she dragged me up the steps to where we were going to sit. I won't lie, I'm still worried how this battle is going to turn out. However, I still have faith in you, Tamaki Amajiki.

"We are back folks! Welcome to the final fight of the first bracket! The last battle before we take our short break. There has been an impressive amount of battles that we showcased here! The highlights of the fights have been between the rivalry of class 1A and 1B all coming down to this! You won't want to miss a moment of this! Are you ready!" The excitement amongst the crowd progressively continued to grow louder and louder after each battle along with Present Mic's commentary. As Nejire and I took our seats to witness this battle, we can already hear the chatter from our class discussing if Tamaki was even capable of handling this fight. Some were talking about Senji, who was one of the students to score the highest in the entrance exams, outmatching someone like Tamaki. I was getting nervous just thinking about Senji's fighting capabilities after I witnessed him taking down a large robot during the first event with ease. I could feel the tension rising just from thinking about it all. However, I felt a hand slowly wrapping onto my hand, and when I came back to my senses I noticed it was Nejire. "I can tell you are worried about him, but that's our Tamaki out there and I know he is going to do a great job and so should you. All he needs from us now is to give him the support he needs."

She was right... Tamaki is going out there in front of the world and instead of worrying, I should be cheering him on. "Thank you, Nejire. You sure know what to say to help clear my head."
"Of course, (Y/N). I'm always here for you, but let's be here for Tamaki ok?" As I nodded as reassurance to her question, we focused back onto Tamaki.
"No matter what happens... we will support you every step of the way. Don't forget that, Tamaki." Shortly after, Present Mic spoke up on through speakers, announcing the competitors.

"In the blue corner, he comes with a hairstyle to match his personality. This student scored the highest in the entrance exams, and he is ready to spark up a show! Give it up for Class 1A's Thunderous Kicking Machine, Senji Dansaki!" With all of class 1A cheering him on, giving just as much energy as the crowd themselves. We are just moments away from the beginning of the fight, and this is where we will see who will win here and now. "In the red corner, this man has the stomach capacity to eat all kinds of foods! A soft-spoken individual who has shown us here during the sports festival that he is aiming to win! Give up for Class 1B's, Tamaki Amajiki!" I stood up and called out to Tamaki. "Come on Tamaki! You can do this!" Causing a massive uproar of cheering and whistling. I know you can do this Tamaki. Just believe in yourself.

(Tamaki POV)

"Crap! Crap! Crap! S-so many p-people! I-I can't feel my legs. This is horrible. Everyone is going to see me crash. I-I can't shake this fear and anxiety off. I wasn't e-expecting so many people to watch. Come on.. t-try to calm down. Your friends are there watching you, and they believe in you. Yet... I can't move. I feel like I'm going to throw up." I can't shake this fear of being in the spotlight like this. No matter how hard I try, I can't be so confident when I need to be. Before I could do anything, Present Mic yelled out: "BEGIN!" That's when Senji came rushing at me. "I need to dodge now! Move damn it move! Why can't I move!?"
"I'm going to enjoy kicking your ass!" As Senji came swooping in ready to throw a kick. "I have to block now! Its coming closer! I have to mo-" His leg came in strong and smacked my arms that quickly managed to block my face, but he has incredible strength in his leg that sent me flying to the side.
"Dansaki starts off the match landing the first hit of the fight! It seems like Amajiki stood frozen like a statue, letting Dansaki get a free hit! How is this happening?"
"What's the matter? You scared to fight?!" Senji proceeded to deliver another kick to my stomach, but I managed to move my body out of the way in time "Come on you idiot! Show me your fighting spirit!" Senji continued throwing barrages of kicks, but I was only able to dodge a few before getting kicked in the stomach and sent flying back. I was the floor groaning a bit from the pain Senji delivered to me, leaving me curled up on the floor. "It seems like Amajiki is down with another kick from Dansaki! At this rate, this fight may be over quick." The crowd was getting quiet and all I can hear was Dansaki walking up to me.

"I-is... Present Mic... saying I'm going to lose? Is it because I'm bad? Everyone is probably laughing at me, and looking down on me. Why did I come out here?! What kind of a hero can I be if I'm this scared to be in front of so many people? God, I'm so weak... I can't win... I really... can't win. This nervousness and anxiety inside me... it continues to eat away at my very being. After all these years, I still can't break these chains that hold me back. The world just laughs at me... constantly. I feel so alone... I'm just letting everyone down because of my vulnerability. Why!? Just why am I like this?!"

"Don't give up Tamaki! We know you can do it!"

"That voice..."

"You have to get up, Tamaki! Give it everything you got!"

"Wait... those voices... they sound like..."

"Come on Suneater! If you are going to outshine the sun, you're going to have to get up and win this!"

I know those voices! As I looked up, I knew where they were coming from. "Those voices... those are... my friends. Both (Y/N) and Nejire were at the stands cheering me on, but who is that standing next to them? Is that? The person who I least expected to be there was... Mirio! He came out from Recovery Girl's office just... to cheer me on. My three friends, who still believe in me and are still supporting me. Even though I'm not doing well. Despite all the others who look down on me... they always continued to support me every step of the way. In a world so dark and cruel, some stand out and shine brightly. Always trying to see the bright side of every dark day... I have to get up now. I have friends... I have friends who still believe in me!" As I started pulling myself back up, I got into my fighting stance ready to give it my all.
"And Amajiki is back on his feet folks! It looks like he isn't giving up now!" The commentary continued as I can hear the crowd cheering. Despite hearing the crowd getting all excited, all I can hear were my friends who still have faith in me and have been cheering for me from the start.

"Looks like you still have some fight in ya? Let's get serious!" As Senji came rushing in to deliver another kick, but this time I'm ready to fight back! I stretched my arm out and manifested my arm into an octopus tentacle to grab Senji. My plan was to grab Senji and just take him out of the ring. It's an easy victory for me! As my tentacle grabbed his leg I started winding up to take him out. However, I suddenly felt a surge of lightning coming straight through the tentacle arm as it landed a very hefty jolt to my system. I had let go of him instant as I retracted my arm back as Senji just landed and started laughing. "Oh man. Don't tell me that you thought you could easily knock me out of the ring like that? You must have forgotten how my quirk works, so allow me to enlighten you!" With a sudden rush, He came at me ready to strike once more. Instinctively, I shoot out my tentacle arm once more but the moment my arm got close, Senji jumps into the air and kicked it which sent another wave of electricity. "I'm going to break that arm of yours!" Senji closed in on me and kicked my stomach once more, causing me to fall back once more. His kicks were getting stronger as the fight kept progressing. However, they aren't any ordinary kicks. His quirk causes his legs to be infused with electricity the more he moves them. I have to find a way to restrain him or at least deal with that lightning before it takes a toll on me. "I'm going to finish this now! Lightning Roundhouse kick!" In a flash, Senji leaped at me ready to strike. "It's over!!" With large swing of his leg coming right to my face, I knew one thing needed to be done.

A suddenly loud crash of thunder could be heard as it echoed throughout the stadium. "Whoa! Dansaki comes in with a thunderous roundhouse kick leaving a trail of sparks all around! This definitely must have done some damage on-"
"What!? Amajiki is still standing!? He didn't even budge an inch!" The crowd was in awe as they saw what I did to defend myself. "Amajiki defended the attack by... turning his hand into a shell!? He even covered his face in the shell making some kind of armor out of it?! Amajiki is pulling out all the surprises now folks!"
Senji's face was visibly shocked for a moment, so I took the chance to turn my arm back to normal and used my free hand to turn it into an octopus tentacle again. "Take this!" Yelling out as I punched Senji, sending me back a good couple of meters. This was it! I'm aiming to win here and now, Dansaki!" Slowly the shell layer on my face started cracking and falling apart to the floor. I was more determined than ever to win! No matter the cost!

"Tamaki has broken out of his shell. This is where Tamaki had changed, seeking only one goal in mind....
and that was to Shine brighter than the Sun."
