Yajin: Man, thank Kami for that nice girl who stopped my fall.

Yajin tripped as he prepared to die and fail but he was stopped when someone placed a hand on his shoulder.

Ochaco: (giggles) Are you okay?

Yajin was a little shocked on how he stopped but he looked to his left and saw a girl with hazel brown bob cut hair and a cute blush on her face.

She pressed her hands together and smiled at him.

Ochaco: I hope you don't mind me using my quirk on you. Didn't want you to hit your face as you fell.

Yajin: Oh thanks.

Ochaco: It's so crazy to be here. Being here at U.A.

Yajin: Yeah, it is. You going for the hero course?

Ochaco: Yeah, i'm guessing almost everyone here is. But hey best of luck to you.

Yajin watched her walk away and he smiled to her kindness and jogged inside.

(Now)

Present Mic arrived and began to explain the test and even explained how the students were supposed to use their quirks to fight against many robots that were worth different points.

Once Yajin got his testing area he was gonna be in, he changed into his gi and rode into the bus that was taking him to the testing area. He focused his mind as Izuku was geeking out at the fact that he was watching Yajin about to take the test and even show U.A what he was made of.

Eventually everyone got out of the bus and Yajin began to jump around a little to warm up. Even stretching his legs as he smiled and got his body and mind ready to take on the exam.

"I can't believe were here! I see so many cool support gear and some cool quirks.

Yajin: Relax Izuku, it's just a few quirks but I prefer you not scream in my head because I need to focus so please just watch and let me fight on my own.

"Don't worry I won't bother but it's just so awesome."

Yajin smiled as he cracked his knuckles and waited until he was told with the rest of the students to begin. However his eyes were then focused on the girl he met at the entrance.

He smiled as he walked to her wanting to thank her. But a hand touched his shoulder as he looked behind him and saw a guy with glasses holding his shoulder.

Yajin: Can I help you?

???: That girl seemed to be trying to focus. What are you gonna do? Go and ruin her chances?

Yajin: No, I wanted to speak to her about something that isn't your business. Now move your hand please before I have to force it off.

This response surprised the student as he removed his hand and Yajin walked to Ochaco.

Yajin: Yo!

She turned around and gave him a surprised smile as he walked to her.

Ochaco: It's you. So cool to know we are in the same testing area.

Yajin: Yeah. Though I never got your name, mine's Yajin.

Ochaco: (giggle) I'm Ochaco Uraraka.

Yajin: Say why don't we work together we can help each other. Your quirk is a gravity like quirk right?

Ochaco: Yeah, Zero Gravity. I can touch something with all my fingers and make it float like it has no gravity.

Yajin: Awesome, I have a quirk I call Ki. But think of it as energy conversion. So were allies on this one?

Ochaco: Of course, it's gonna be nice to have a friend to help me keep my cool.

Yajin chuckled as Present Mic began to yell for them to take off and this did confused them but he quickly grabbed Ochaco and flew over the other students with her in his arms as he flew across the city.

Ochaco: Woah! Woah! Couldn't you have warmed me at first?!

Yajin: Sorry but it was better to get a quick head start so we can get some extra points.

She was surprised but she smiled as she enjoyed the feeling and rush of flying. Yajin landed in the middle as he set her down and both stood back to back and watched the many robots as both began to fight and gain points.

Yajin blasted at a few 2 pointers and threw the 3 pointers at Ochaco.

Yajin: Uraraka, left!

She smiled as she slapped the robot and got a small pile and pressed her fingers together.

Ochaco: Release!

The robots fell and dropped to the ground into bits as Yajin smiled and gave her a thumbs up. He looked around and saw the pile of robots that were down and he smiled.

Yajin: I think here we should split up but I'm sure you got enough points to pass.

Ochaco: Yeah, don't worry thanks for helping out. Be sure not to fall behind.

Yajin: (chuckles) Now taking my lines now?

Ochaco chuckled as they waved at each other and split off. Yajin flew off to the back area and began to destroy a few 3 pointers and some 1 pointer bots. But after the 5 minute mark hit, the judges pressed the button and began to release the Zero Pointer.

Yajin: I wonder what the Zero Pointer would look like?

But on cue, the ground began to shake as everyone froze and turned to the source of the tremors and they saw a massive zero pointer rise from the ground.

Yajin: Guess this answered my question.

"WOAH! This is the Zero Pointer, it's massive!"

He looked around and saw many people begin to run off as he did remember that it wasn't wise to fight it and was about to head off to find more point bots but he heard a yelp of pain and looked behind him and saw Ochaco on the ground trapped and something just made him freeze for a moment.

Everything froze for a moment and it just made him remember his worst moment. He saw her expression of pain and fear as he felt nothing but a drive of anger rushed at him.

The remainder of failure...even grief flowed through his head as all he could remember was the failure, the failure of saving someone and being fast enough.

All Might: There are no combat points rewarded for taking on that humongous villain, but there is opportunity. A chance to shine and show what you're really made of.

Yajin rushed at the Zero Pointer at full speed as his body tensed and bulked up and he flew up to punch the arm apart and his body grew a dark red aura.

Yajin: Kaioken!

He flew to the bottom and kicked the knee and used all of his power as he slid on the ground and caught his breath but he wasn't done. He ran again and flew to the face of the zero pointer and reeled his fist back.

All Might: So clench your butt cheeks, young man.

Izuku: And yell this from the depth of your heart!

Yajin: SMASH!!!!!

The punch pushed the villain to the air as he dropped down quickly and began to finish it off.

Yajin: KA ME HA ME...HA!!!

He shot the beam using all of his power and both abilities. The beam consumed the robot to the air and exploded it into nothing as the explosion pushed others away with the shock wave and made everyone watch the explosion. 

The aftermath of the move made everyone freeze as Yajin was panting and gritted his teeth. However a voice began to ring inside his head as he heard Izuku pleading to him.

"Yajin, Breathe!"

Immediately he fell to his knees and gasped for air as he began to cough and gasp for air. While he was doing this everyone else was still frozen in shock and awe by the power they saw from Yajin's outbursts.

All Might: Young Man...how much power did you actually have?

Present Mic eventually told the students that time was up but no one could actually process on what actually happened with Yajin.

(2 Days Later)

Yajin was resting in bed as he still tried to process on why he exploded so much in that moment.

Ding

He looked to his phone and saw a text from Uraraka.

Ochaco - Hey, have you gotten your results?

Yajin - Not yet. You?

Ochaco - No but how are you feeling from that big power up that happened to you.

Yajin - Still trying to figure it out. But I'm not ready to talk about it yet. I'll tell you when I can.

He sighed and put his phone down. He kept trying to focus on his mental training but the fact that he exploded kept bothering him.

However his mom knocked on his door and smiled at him.

Azura: Sweetie, the results came today.

Yajin was surprised as he grabbed the letter and opened it as a small little machine dropped.

A projection appeared with All Might as this surprised both of them and All Might smiled and explained how Yajin passed the test and how he reached number 1.

All Might: Yajin Hidashi...welcome to your Hero Academia. I'll be sure to prepare for you. I'm rooting for you, young hero.

Yajin smiled as his mom hugged him tightly and he just clenched his fist and looked at the photo of himself and Izuku as kids.

Yajin: I did it...I'm close to our goal, Izuku
