Reminders of the Past
Stay away from the team. Dick rolled his eyes as he thought of what Batman had said to him last night. Who did Batman even think he was, telling Robin what to do? He couldn't control him.
So, seeing that Batman definitely did not want Robin at Mount Justice ever again, Robin decided to go visit Mount Justice today. It probably wasn't the smartest of ideas to go during the day time (or to go at all),but he figured that there would be less of a chance of running into Batman at this time.
When Robin saw the strange zeta-tube phone booth, he was actually nervous. He had just saved Kid Flashs life the other day, and he was supposed to be the criminal. Robin had also saved Batman. Someone might as well just put a sign on Robins forehead reading: Superhero Savior. Ha, that'd be nice.
Robin then accessed his wrist computer to hack into the zeta-tube so he would be allowed to enter, but was surprised when he discovered that Batman actually hadn't removed him from the people that were allowed in the Mountain. His name still remained as Guest, and he was still authorized from last time. Shrugging, he walked into the phone booth and was sent to Mount Justice.
Recognized: Guest
To be honest, Robin wasn't sure what he was expecting when he walked in, but he was sure glad that he happened to decided to pay a visit today. The team members were all out of uniform, their identities no loner being concealed.
Miss Martian jumped as she saw him. Aqualad and Superboy quickly stood upon realizing his arrival. And Artemis and Kid Flash quickly covered their eyes.
"What's up, team?" He greeted cheerfully.
"Why are you here?" Aqualad stood walking towards Robin.
Robin looked at all the members, suddenly noticing that Kid Flash had his bright yellow costume on. When did he put that on? He also noticed that Artemis had left. Probably to put her uniform on too.
"Cause I got bored. Plus, Batman, told me to stay away from you guys, and honestly, I can't take a thing that comes out of that mans mouth seriously. He's dressed as a bat. I mean, I thought my costume was bad."
"That gives you no right to come here." Superboy stepped forward,"You are a criminal and you need to leave now."
"Let him stay." Kid Flash said with maybe a bit too much emphasis," He did save my life yesterday. He obviously can't be too bad if he risked his life to save mine."
Aqualad turned towards his team as if he was going to talk to them, but nothing came from his mouth,"You did save Kid Flash."
"I could show you around!" Miss Martian beamed as if she actually enjoyed the thought of giving Robin a full tour.
"That sounds like a great idea." Robin replied, but he could sense something was off. He knew a bad lie when he heard one,"But, I really have to go get something.... So.... I'll just be back real quick...." He turned, but was immediately faced by Kid Flash. How did he get over here so quickly?
"Sorry, but we can't let you to that."
Robin immediately reached for his utility belt, ready to attack Kid Flash, when something attacked him from behind, and hard. Superboy had snuck up on him- using his super strength, but not too much- and punched Robin in the head, causing him to fall unconscious.
"Time to contact Batman."

Batman was currently searching through files on his high-tech bat-computer. He was looking for the location of Scarecrow. Supposedly, he had made a new drug that he was planning to sell to every villain in Gotham, and Batman needed to make sure that no one got their hands on that drug. The effects were still unknown, but without a cure, Batman didn't want to take the risk of it possibly killing someone.
Then a small file popped up on his screen. It was an old file that he hadn't seen in a very long time. It was titled Richard Grayson. That was the name of the boy he had once wanted to take in, but when he went to pick him up, Richard had been reported missing.
Batman searched for weeks- months even- for Richard, but he was no where to be seen. After surveying the evidence, the police eventually just presumed him as dead. Bruce had blamed himself for so long for the death of Richard, he found it hard to believe that he had actually forgotten about this case.
Bruce had actually talked to Richard the night of his parents death. He had told Bruce that their deaths was not an accident, but he was never given a name, and Bruce wasn't able to tie anyone to the murder.
Bruce still remembered everything that had happened. He had driven to the Detention Center as fast as he could. Determined to help this boy, though he wasn't expecting several police and CSI to be surveying the area.
The only evidence (if you could even call it that) was that Richards cell in the detention center had somehow been broken into, though no one had seen what had happened. The two guards in the room had been killed and Dick was never heard from again.
Batman shook away those thoughts as he received a message on the computer from the team.
"We have Robin."
Batman stood making him way to the zeta tubes. He couldn't shake the feeling that he somehow knew Robin. Maybe he had seen him somewhere before.... But Batman just couldn't seem to remember if he had. He was excellent on discovering people's identities, but for some reason, he had absolutely no clue who the "Boy Wonder" really was.

Small tears fell down Dick Grayson's face as he watched as his Uncle tortured a man.
Though this wasn't just some man. There was something special about this man. He had ruined Dicks life. He had killed Dicks parents. He had taken everything away from the young boy. This man was Tony Zucco.
And even though he did all those awful things, Dick did not believe he deserved the torture his Uncle was putting him through.
Tony's screams could be heard within the tall and wide building, echoing off the walls, begging for forgiveness.
"Please.... Stop. This man doesn't deserve this. I don't care what he did." Dick begged as he watched the man suffer. His words earned him a slap on the face. He cried as he was hit and a sharp burning pain pierced his left cheek.
"You do not beg for anything. Never! You are to take what you want!" Dick quickly nodded after hearing his Uncles words. His Uncle terrified him and he refused to go against his Uncles ways. For, he had seen what his Uncle could do, and he knew that his Uncle would not hesitate to hurt him.
"Now that this man has suffered for the sin of murdering your parents, he shall now die." His Uncle pulled out a gun and held it out to Dick.
Dicks parents hadn't even died two months ago and the memory was still ripe. Tony Zucco had caused Dick so much suffering. He had to deal with the loss of his parents, his departure from the circus, the awful treatment at the Juvenile Detention Center, and the fact that he was stuck with the Court of Owls. Tony Zucco deserves some form of punishment....
But not death.
"No. I will not kill him. He doesn't deserve to die."
"Very well then," Dick let out a sigh of relief, but jumped as his Uncle raised the gun and shot Zucco himself.
"Your parents would be very disappointed in you..."
