The team sat at a small table in the cave as the League repaired all the damage that had been done after the attack. More than half of them, Robin had never met, but now wasn't exactly the time for a meet-and-greet.

"Thanks, but no thanks." Kid Flash said as Green Arrow placed a snack filled bowl on the table.

Robin spoke up,"Yeah, what we want are answers- about Red Tornado and his siblings."

"Exactly!" Kid Flash agreed.

Green Arrow shrugged and picked up the bowl. Wally was quick to snatch it from him,"Leave the bowl."

Robin sighed softly at Wally's immaturity.

"You knew!" Superboy suddenly yelled out as he lunged for Aqualad,"That android and his maniac family nearly killed M'gann!"

M'gann was quick to fly towards the two,"Connor, what are you doing?"

"Kaldur knew we had a traitor among the team and said nothing!"

"You knew?" Robin shouted.

"And didn't tell us?" Kid Flash stood up.

Aqualad remained calm,"I sought to protect the team-"

"Protect us from what?" Artemis lashed out,"Knowledge that might have saved our lives?"

"You almost died!" Connor told M'gann as he released Kaldur,"The traitor could be anyone of us, and you completely left us in the dark!"Connor said anyone, but it was obvious that he had his eyes focused on Robin.

Robin immediately noticed this,"What? You think it's me?"

"You are the one that was raised by assassins. For all we know, you could still be loyal to them. Maybe everything you've said is just a lie! For all we know, you could still be in contact with them!" The room suddenly got extremely quiet.

Robin lost it,"You have got to be kidding me! What's your problem?"

"It's four feet tall and smells like cheap hair gel."

"At least I wasn't born in a Petri dish!"

"You're small enough to fit in one!"

The two were merely inches away from each other, both panting,"You-"

"That's enough!" Batman ended their feud, gaining everyone's attention,"With Red Tornado missing, the team will now be supervised by rotating league members. Captain Marvel has volunteered to take the first shift."

Said hero stepped up,"I'm really looking forward to hanging with you guys."

The team sent each other confused looks.

Connor sent a glare to Robin, and then to Aqualad," After I dismantle Red Tornado, you and I are gonna-"

Batman interrupted, once again,"Red Tornado is a member of the Justice League, that makes him a league responsibility. You will leave it to us."

Once everything seemed to cool down, Robin approached his mentor,"Can I talk to you?" He wanted to bring up the notes he had received as soon as possible.

"Not right now, Robin. I have another assignment for this team." The Dark Knight turned as an image of a newspaper appeared.

The first headline read: Monkey Trades Bananas for Bullets.

The paper switched,"Gotham mayor attacked by Guerilla Gorilla." Kid flash read unimpressed.

Robins previous thoughts of the note disappeared as he stepped forward,"Batman, please, tell me you're not sending us on this joke of a wild ape chase."

"I never joke about the mission." His voice was filled with seriousness causing Robin to lower his head in shame.

"I've checked the sources, I've studied the patterns. Mayor Hills attack is only the latest in a series of incidents. Aqualad, you and you're team will depart for India and check the out." The gilled teen nodded. The team walked forward to prepare for the mission.

Kid flash in front of his leader,"Hmph, your team."

Robin sat in the bioship considering the past events. Of course he wasn't the mole, but what Superboy had said had hurt him. The kryptonian had claimed that Robin was still loyal, just like his Uncle had stated. He also said that Robin said he could still be in contact with them, which he technically was.

Could he be the mole and not even know it?

"Robin." Robin looked up at Aqualad,"Did you hear me?"

Aqualad sighed as Robin didn't reply. He probably figured that the boy was still upset at him, but Robins mind had been elsewhere,"Soon you and Artemis will be lowered to check if the area is clear. The rest of the team will soon follow."

Robin sent a small nod as he hooked his uniform up to a line.

At the chosen point, both him and Artemis jumped down from the ship and checked their surroundings. They looked back to see the team and Captain Marvel exiting the ship,"All clear," Robin reported.

"Switch to stealth mode." The Atlantean ordered,"And we'll review mission parameters."

"Parameters?" Kid Flash retorted,"We don't need no stinkin' parameters."

Robin felt his anger from earlier rise,"It's recon, we know what to do." And with that he turned away with Kid Flash.

"Kid, Robin."

"This team was started because the Justice League was keeping secrets from us,"Kid Flash ranted,"Or did you forget that? Like you forgot to tell us about the mole." The two teens refused to hear what their leader had to say as they ran into the forest.

Robin and Kid Flash were crouched currently. behind a rock searching for any possible movement. Once there seemed to be no threat, Robin let his mind drift. Was there a chance that he was actually the mole? The Court of Owls knew exactly where he was, meaning that they had the ability to learn the identity of the team, Batman, even some League members. What if they threatened to release said information? Surely, Robin would do anything and everything to prevent that... But would that mean him returning to the Court?

"Watch out!" He felt himself being pushed out of the way by Kid Flash. Robin turned to see two abnormally large vultures attempting to attack them.

"I thought vultures only ate dead meat!" Robin threw two exploding disks towards the birds. They both missed. They took this as their cue to run.

"Yeah, these are some very proactive scavengers."

"Proactive and super sized. What could have done this to them?"

Kid Flash turned his head back,"Could be Cobra Venom."

Robin jumped to his left just in time to avoid being snatched by one of the birds. Though that didn't help much as the bird was still fast on his trail.

He was barely dodging it when Kid Flash sped over and pulled Robin out of the way of its sharp beak. Robin threw two more discs, which hit their target, and rendered the bird unconscious.

Robin headed towards a nearby water source. It was a long rivers and they were about 6 feet above it.

"Link established. Should you really be giving us orders?" M'gann's voice rang in their heads.

"Listen, please."

"Oh, good, Aqualads voice in my head, I so miss that." Wally interrupted.

Robin smiled,"Hey, Kaldur, KF and I were attacked by giant vultures, but since we're moles you probably think we attacked ourselves."

"If he did, he wouldn't tell you." Artemis replied.

"Superboy, are online or just pouting?" Miss Martian asked.

"Busy- Call back later."

Kid Flash continued his rant,"What gets me is how nonchalant he is about not telling us."

Robin agreed,"He should be chalant, way chalant, extremely chalant."

"How can we be a team if he doesn't trust us with his secrets?" Artemis continued.

"And Connor doesn't trust us with ourselves." Miss Martain added.

"Did he really think you or I could have been the mole?" Kid Flash questioned.

"Trust is a two way street."

"And you know he'd hate it if we kept secrets from them. Not that we'd do that. Never."

"Enough!" Aqualad mentally scolded,"Captain Marvel has been captured and we must act as a team to save him."

Kid Flash scoffed,"Under your leadership? I don't think so."

"This is not up for debate. You all chose me to lead. When the mission is over if you wish to select a new leader, I will happily stand down, but until that time, I am in command here.

Robin crept up towards what the team believed to be where Captain Marvel had been taken, Kid Flash residing next to him.

"I'll fly over." M'gann said.

"Negatory, he field expands like a dome over the whole compound." Kid Flash reported as he looked through his goggles.

"But one good shot could cause a momentary gap." Robin added as he looked over the schematics of the area.

"I see a target." Artemis raised her bow.

"Then be ready to hit it,"Aqualad directed,"Be ready. All of you."

Robin and Kid Flash send each other slight frowns.

Aqualad darted forward and used his abilities to cause a rupture in the force field,"Now!"

At Kid Flashs word, Artemis released the arrow. It quickly reached its target, lowering the force field.

The team approached the building, but Robin halted as he noticed a monkey sitting atop the building.

Upon noticing them, it began to screech. The team jumped back as alarms blared and monkeys began to attack them.

Robin was caught off guard as his legs were pulled from under him. His arms and legs were being tugged at by two monkeys.

"Remove their collars!" Aqualad advised.

"Sounds easy when he says it." Robin struggles to free his limbs. Artemis released arrows upon the monkeys, breaking the collars off. They immediately released Robin and turned to run.

Robin noticed two monkeys approaching Artemis, so he threw two discs at their collars, causing them to also run once they were no longer being controlled.

"We have an entrance!" Robin and Artemis turned to where Kid Flash had yelled. There was now a crater in the wall. A large monkey, which had been thrown by Miss Martian, was the cause of it.

Once they entered the building, Robin saw Captain Marvel strapped down to a table. There was also a weird robot with a brain in it.

"It's the brain!" Kid Flash yelled.

Artemis sighed,"We can see that it's a brain."

"Not a brain! The brain!"

"In the flesh,"The brain replied,"Or so to speak. Mallah!"

Suddenly a mechanism emerged from the ground, sending the teens straight to the ground.

"Miss Martian, Superboy, now!"

Miss Martian used her telepathic powers to easily grab the remote and free them. Once they were free, Superboy crashed through the wall with a large white wolf beside him.

The team all attacked the Gorilla, throwing pretty much everything that had. Even the wolf aided them in disarming the primate.

Aqualad took this as an opportunity to free Captain Marvel, and once that was done, the heroes surrounded the two fiends.

Mallah let out a roar, but it fazed none of them,"Try it. I hate monkeys." The large wild seemed to growled as Superboy spoke.

"No, Mallah." The Brain suddenly began to sprout strange machinery from itself.

"Watch out!" They all raised the weapons and stepped back only for the lights to flicker off. After a second, one small light lit up the room, but there was no Mallah not Brain in the room.

"Wait,"Kid Flash said confused,"That large machine was light switch?" The team sent each other glances, uncertain of what to say.

As the team helped free the remaining animals Robin stood in front of the bioship entrance. He was somewhat lost in though before Aqualad walked towards him to enter the ship.

Robin caused him to stop,"Look, I need to know, why did you keep the mole Intel a secret?"

Apparently, Robin hadn't been that quiet since the team gathered around and also waited for an answer.

"The source of the tip was Sportsmaster."

Artemis glared,"What! You can't trust him."

"I do not. It seemed possible, even likely that he was attempting to divide the team with this false information."

Robin understood what he was saying,"And given how this mission went, he nearly succeeded, but you had to consider it might be true."

"Yes, as leader I did, in which case I did not wish to alert the traitor."

Robin let out a sigh out defeat,"I hate to say it, but makes sense."

"I am still prepared to step down."

Kid Flash turned towards the team,"All in favor of keeping Aqualad as leader."

Aqualad looked at his team, they all had their hands raised. The leader turned to look at Robin, he had his hand raised as well and sent him a smile. Seeing this, Aqualad sent him a small nod. He knew how badly Robin had once wanted to be leader.

"Guess its unanimous!"Captain Marvel shook his hand,"See you tomorrow!"

Aqualads eye widened,"You're not coming back with us?"

"Nah, gotta fly!" And with that he took off.

The team took this as their sign to prepare for take off bake to the Mountain.

Robin began to walk within the ship too, but was stopped,"Robin."

It was Superboy.

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry about the way I reacted earlier. I had no right to say that. I know that you would never side with the Court of Owls, and of course you aren't the mole. I was just upset and needed someone to blame." His voice sounded sincere. It hurt Robin since he wasn't even sure if he was the mole or not.

"It's fine, if anything, I shouldn't have replied so harshly."

"Ah, all is forgiven. Great! I say we celebrate with ice cream." Wally approached the two, placing his hands on their shoulders.

Superboy rolled his eyes and walked into the bio-ship. Robin was about to follow, but Kid Flash gripped his arm.

"Rob, are you okay? I noticed you were a bit out of it earlier. Does this have to do with Bialya?"

Robin tensed,"No, I'm fine. I was just upset about the whole mole thing,"He sent a small smile,"Let's get going."

I've been so behind on updates..... *sigh* I've marching band camp and I have no time to update. Honestly, I need help with these updates at this point...

I just noticed how much I've made Dick say,"I'm fine." Someone should make a drinking game out of that... Hehe. Honestly, imagine someone's poor soul if they did that and started from Chapter 1.
