2.9 His Maid, Creator
"Isabella?"
Adrianna, Ciel, and Scarlett stare in disbelief as their Siren friend makes her way towards them. Isabella gives a flirtatious smile as she reaches the group. In her hand was a bow black as coal and on her back was a matching quiver with a single silver arrow.
Adrianna steps forward and looks at the bow Isabella is holding. "What the...why are there black specks floating around it?"
"Boharkais..."
Everyone turns to see Y/n. Her eyes begin glowing purple and the same black specks are surrounding her and Aetherius. She stands in front of Isabella and grabs her head, whispering in an unknown language.
"Papa, what is she saying?"
"I...I don't know. I have no idea what language this is. I understand many languages from the humans, but this one is unknown to me," Sebastian answers.
"This is the language of the Sirens. At the club that Isabella owns, I hear them talking to each other in this tongue a lot. The only thing I cannot seem to figure out is why Y/n can speak it, let alone fluently," Adrianna says.
They look back at Isabella and Y/n. Y/n is speaking rapidly and seems to be growing angrier. When it seems she is about to get violent, she lets go of Isabella. The Siren's features begin changing. Isabella's hair turns light blue and her eyes almost the exact color.
Everyone stares in disbelief at her new features. Adrianna seems to be impacted by it the most, as she has her hands covering her mouth.
"Isabella? W-what is this? What are you?" Adrianna shakily asks.
Defeated, Isabella sighs. "I'm a demon. Not completely. I somehow managed to be half-siren, half-demon. I started off as a siren, but a demon found me and tried turning me into a demon. I fought him off and he never finished the conversion, but somehow I was half siren and demon. But that's in the past, it all happened over a thousand years ago."
As she finishes up, everyone notices how Isabella looks to Y/n with an unreadable emotion in her eyes. Y/n looks at her with the same emotions and widens the distance between them.
Adrianna notices and looks to her. "Y/n, do you know anything about this?"
"Of course I do, I am her mother after all."
Sebastian groans and runs a hand through his hair. "You have another child, and you don't even bother to tell me? You're my wife, Y/n! You're supposed to trust me and tell me these things!"
"I thought she was dead!"
"Thanks for that warm welcome, Mother," Isabella replies, sarcasm dripping from her voice.
"Okay, let me explain everything. Yes, Isabella was born over a thousand years ago. It was in a village somewhere in Italy. I had made a deal with the blacksmith. His daughter had been found dead by the river bank. There was already three other girls from the village who had been found the exact same way. The blacksmith suspected it was a man who had only arrived in the village a few weeks before. I found the man and did my best to grow close to him and see if he would confess. He...managed to seduce me and when I woke up the next morning, he was gone and never returned," Y/n explains.
Sebastian places his hands on Y/n's waist and tilted his forehead down. "The man was a demon. He made a deal with one of the villagers and was required to kill those four girls. After the deal was fulfilled and he consumed the man's soul, he saw a beautiful woman and decided he wanted her. He got what he wanted and left the next morning."
"Please don't tell me that it was you."
"It was me," Sebastian confesses.
Y/n walked along the road, carrying a small basket that contained apples. She scanned all the villagers to see if she could find who she was after. She paused when she saw the man a few feet ahead of her. She sped up and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and raised an eyebrow.
"Excuse me, Sir, but I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the blacksmith in this village," she lied.
"Ah, of course. If you follow the path on the left and then make another left once it splits in two, it should lead you close to the blacksmith."
"Thank you so much. I deeply appreciate your kind gesture. Here, have an apple."
She reaches inside her basket for an apple and hands it to him. He takes it from her hand and tips his hat. "I do hope we meet again."
And meet again they did. The following day, Y/n "ran into" him near the village center. Every day after that encounter, they would meet at twilight in the village outskirts. After they would bid farewell, Y/n would explain everything to the blacksmith in the morning.
Everything changed a few weeks later.
The blacksmith had to go to the next village over, as they had no blacksmith of their own and were asking him to repair their weapons. The trip would last at least a week. Instead of the outskirts, Y/n would sneak the man into the house where they would talk.
On the third day of the blacksmith being gone, everything had continued as normal. Twilight came and the man would quietly enter the house. As Y/n closed the door, the man made his move. He seduced her and a passionate night between them ensued.
Y/n woke up alone the next morning. The man never came back. Ashamed, she abandoned the village and left.
What she didn't know was that she was pregnant.
Four months later, Y/n gave birth to a baby girl. Based on the circumstances that led to Isabella's being, Y/n gave her the power to use her voice to manipulate others.
She was the one that created sirens.
For years, Y/n would find young orphan girls and give them these powers. The girls would eventually find each other and create clans. They would lure men and become pregnant, then kill the man soon after. Y/n hardly ever visited the girls, but they would refer to her as the Mother Siren.
This all happened after she returned home to her daughter, but only found a burnt home and body.
"That body that you saw at our home was the body of the demon who tried killing me. I spent centuries looking for you but gave up because I believed you abandoned me."
"Family means everything to me. If I knew that body was not yours, I would have never just left. I would have kept looking for you. But we are reunited now. I will not ever stray from your side."
Y/n turns to Sebastian. "So you're the man who was killing all those girls? More importantly, you're Isabella's father? How do I know you weren't lying about that?"
Sebastian closes his eyes and morphs into the man Y/n had met all those years ago. Y/n takes in a sharp breath and turns away.
"So we had a kid over one thousand years ago. We met over one thousand years ago. How is any of this even possible? We technically have two daughters together. It was only a one night stand, yet we somehow find each other centuries later and have another daughter. The world must be small after all."
Scarlett looks at Isabella with curiosity. She has a long-lost older sister that her mom thought died so many years ago. How were they even related? Isabella had light blue hair and eyes. Meanwhile, Scarlett inherited her parents' black hair and her father's red eyes.
They did have their similarities. Scarlett was constantly told she had Y/n's smile during the time Y/n was in Hell. She notices how Y/n and Isabella also share the same smile. Their family was finally complete. Or was it?
"Mother, please tell me you don't have any other children you think are dead."
She smiles and shakes her head. "No, it was only Isabella. You two are my only daughters. But Isabella, how exactly did you get a Demonic Weapon?"
"After that demon attacked me, I ran into the woods and blacked out. When I woke up, I heard whispering and followed it. The bow and arrow were on the ground and I picked them up."
With most questions answered, the group goes into the manor. Everything that had just happened was still being processed by Y/n. She couldn't believe that her daughter was alive, especially when she thought she had seen her dead body all those years ago.
What she couldn't believe was that Sebastian was Isabella's father. She still remembered that fateful night from time to time, always wondering who exactly the father of her child was.
But it was indeed Sebastian.
Everyone gathered around in the dining room once again. Y/n still needed to explain the plan when they were to kill Orion and Dalia.
"With this new information we have, I've thought up a new plan. The sirens are going to help us fight. Isabella, take Adrianna and recruit as many sirens as you can. I am giving you two weeks to do so. We will train for two more weeks to make sure that everyone is prepared for battle. Once that happens, we will jump into Hell from the entrance in Italy. Orion and Dalia would most likely suspect us to use the England entrance, but we'll surprise them instead."
"What will we do once we enter?"
"If we recruit enough sirens, we'll have enough power to manipulate most of the weaker, commoner demons there. We'll use those demons and have them try and start a rebellion. They will flood into the castle and distract most of the guards and the council. Sebastian and I will go after Orion and Dalia. You all will try to hold off the council while the sirens and rebelling demons will take on the guards," Y/n finishes.
"Mother, you do realize that if you and...Sebastian kill those royal brats, you will become the King and Queen of Hell. That is a big responsibility you will have to take on," Isabella says.
"I am willing to do it if it means getting rid of Orion and Dalia once and for all. From what I have heard, most demons do not even like them. We might not even have to manipulate the commoners that much, only give them a push in the right direction."
For the rest of the night, they all plan how exactly everything is going to go. No one knew if they would live through the battle or not.
Without knowing it, one person in the group was most likely giving their final goodbyes. Someone was going to fall.
