-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Jake?" You heard a far off voice call into your slumber as you stirred with a small groan. It felt like you only fell asleep a few minutes ago, you really didnt want to wake up yet. It didnt seem like the owner of the voice cared though as they shook you by the shoulder. It forced you to slowly open your eyes, trying to keep the sun from making you even more blind than you already were.
The figure in front of you though made your eyes quickly snapped open. It was too short to be anyone in Dirk's place and you knew the figure too well.
"Jade?" You questioned with your voice being too clear to have just woken up. Your vision also wasnt blurry which was a fair enough sign this was a dream. It was weird seeing Jade in one of your dreams though, but maybe it was just because you missed her so much already.
You sat up as she crawled onto the bed beside you, looking up at you with dull eyes. That was unusual for her, even if she was a dream version.
"You okay my dear?" You asked as you placed your hand against her cheek, gently moving some strands of her back along with it. She still gave you a cold look, almost as she didn't hear you. Her skin felt cold too, almost like she was dead. That was something that you really didnt want to imagine though.
"Why?" She asked, although it was more so like a demand instead of a question. It had no sense of curiosity to it, just a simple statement.
"Why what, doll?" You hummed, moving your thumb up and down to stroke her cheek, hoping to get some sort of reaction out of her. She sat still and was still unmoving, even her eyes refused to budge. Did she even blink once this entire encounter?
"Why?" Her mouth moved to speak again, but there was another voice added to it from behind you. You peered over your shoulder and you already knew it was going to be Roxy there. The guilt pooled into your stomach, already knowing what they were asking about. You didnt have an answer though and you felt your throat go dry.
"Why?" They asked again as now John joined in standing beside Roxy. You pulled your hand away from Jades face as you clutched your hands into fists, trying to not let the guilt get to you. Sure, you wanted to feel guilty and you totally should, but you couldnt afford to let it drag you down completely already. It was only the start of this and you couldnt chance it.
You stood up, trying to make a beeline for the door as Dave now joined in with the next que. They didn't try to stop you as you ran away though. Instead when you looked at their faces, they looked extremely sad as their eyes seemed to turn black and soulless.
When you opened your door to leave and step out into the hallway, you almost fell into a pit of darkness. Luckily you caught yourself with one of your hands grasping onto the door frame as one foot dangled into the pit, teasing you to just fall down. As you tried to back up, you felt your back press against someone.
It was Dirk and you werent expecting him to be here, although he practically has been ruling your dreams for years now. However, why would he be here? It didnt seem like the actual Dirk, or at least the current Dirk. You felt nostalgic with this one as your body instinctively turned to stand face to face with him.
"Why?" He asked in the same deadpan tone as the rest of them which made a small smile on your face you didnt know you had falter. Now this was just getting annoying.
"What was I supposed to do?" You asked even though you knew you wouldnt get a response back. Or at least, you werent going to get a verbal response back.
You watched a small cut on his neck slowly grow as blood spurted out. It made you freeze as he took a step closer. The cut was slowly getting deeper and even though it was horrible to watch, you couldn't take your eyes off of it.
"Why." He demanded this time, but his voice was gurgled in his own blood as he stepped closer once more, making you take a step back. You peered behind your shoulder to see you were just one step away from falling into the pit of nothingness.
"Please stop." You pleaded as you could feel tears form in your eyes. You were overwhelmed right now and seeing his neck slowly getting split open really wasn't helping. You could see his head get looser. His head lolled forwards before it fell into your hands.
It caused you to shriek as you tumbled backwards, his head falling down with you into the darkness.
"Why." It demanded once more as the shades flew off of the head into nothingness.
"I don't know!" You sobbed out and you kept repeating those three words over and over again as you covered your ears to block the constant question.
You just kept falling as it kept asking over and over again as you kept sobbing out your pleads. You didn't know and you didn't want to hear this anymore, but it wasn't letting you escape. You couldn't wake up but you oh so badly wanted to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't know how long it took, but once you opened your eyes once more and realized you weren't falling anymore, only you were in Dirks room. You were sitting up and you had your hands covering your ears. How long have you been awake?
You were so lucky that no one else was in the room with you as your face felt wet. You quickly rubbed your face dry with your arm, cursing to yourself as you wanted to keep that promise you gave to yourself. You were already embarrassed you were crying, you couldn't imagine how embarrassed you would be if anyone else was in here. If it was Dirk, you might as well just die where you're sitting.
Maybe your promise wasn't realistic because the immense amount of guilt you already felt was real. You could still feel it sitting in your stomach like it was in the dream.
You sighed as you fell back into the futon, not wanting to get up yet as that dream already wore you out. You could tell this was finally reality though because your poor vision was clearly making its appearance.
You reached your hands around lazily to try and find your glasses, hoping wearing those might bring you some clarity. Your hands managed to graze them on top of the dresser near the futon and you grabbed them, slipping them onto your face before squinting your eyes to get used to seeing clearly again.
You sat up slowly again and glanced around the room, hoping to get a better view of it, but it was still dark in here. You thought that was mainly your vision, but clearly it was not.
"Hal, what time is it?" You asked into the empty room, wondering if he would respond once more.
"It's currently 8:53 in the morning. You've slept for four hours and thirty six minutes and fourteen seconds if you were wondering." He responded from your phone you were given by Dirk. You picked up the phone as you brought it to your lap, looking down to see his response was also typed out in red text just in case you missed it.
"You keep track of that stuff? That's kinda creepy." You said with small surprise, you didn't expect him to know that. Especially down to the seconds. What kinda bot did Dirk create?
"Programmed for it by Dirk's wishes. Don't mistake him for being compassionate though, he just likes to see it for data reasons and for other shit. Even I don't want to know what he uses it for with that fucked up mind hes got." He responded once more as you watched the text type out as he spoke. It was a small thing, but it was kinda mesmerizing to watch.
"Don't you have similar minds though?" You asked with a small grin to see if that caught him off guard. One-upping a robot might make your morning a little better.
"You've caught me there, although between you and me, I got the better parts of our brain." Somehow with his response, you could feel a wink. You couldn't help but chuckle a bit before setting the phone down beside you. You got off of the futon and stretched out your back a bit with a yawn.
"Oh yeah, Dirk wanted me to tell you that he already got new clothes for you. He took your clothes from last night and got your rough measurements from those. If those dont fit you or feel uncomfy, let me know and Ill send a note his way." Hal spoke as you looked behind you to the dresser, seeing a simple pair of grey sweats and a black tank top. It was simple, but appreciated. You were swallowed in length by Dirks clothes. You filled them out, but they were awkwardly long on you, especially the pants. You will admit you did have to jump a little to fit into his pants though. Maybe you were putting on more weight than you thought.
You took off Dirks said clothes and put on the new ones he got you. You dont know when he went out to get these or where he wouldve gotten them that late into the night, but you werent complaining. You also noticed the fresh pair of underwear and socks that also seemed new to fit you. One was more embarrassing than the other that he got measurements from, but they were greatly needed.
You slipped on the new clothes and they fit you just fine. You sighed in relief because this was much more fitting than Dirk's old clothes and you would be lying if you said you weren't worried about how awkward they looked on you. You were going to meet some new people and you really didn't want them to see you like that.
"They fit splendidly, tell him I said thank you." You hummed as you put on the socks before grabbing your phone off the futon.
"Also, just as a heads up, everyone else is currently asleep except for Dirk who is down in the basement, so it's safe to go out." Hal noted for you as you nodded in appreciation before slipping the phone into the pocket in the sweatpants. That was a nice bonus feature.
You walked out and even though Hal said it was safe, you were still a bit nervous so you walked quietly. Knowing how most supernatural beings were, they had crazy enhanced senses and you did not want to risk waking them up to a strange human being in their safe space.
You honestly didn't know what you were going to do though. You didnt want to pester Dirk, but you also had no clue on what to do. Your stomach gave you an idea though as it grumbled. You haven't eaten in quite some time so some food shouldn't hurt.
You walked to the kitchen and felt a bit more comfortable here since only two rooms were on this floor. Nonetheless you were still cautious so you didn't disturb anyone.
You felt like you were spending time at a new friends house for the first time because you had no idea where anything was nor were you very comfortable here. Although you had no idea if you were ever going to feel comfortable here, so at least you could learn where things were. One problem solved was better than none.
You went over to the fridge to see what goods lay awaiting inside as you opened the doors. However, you were not expecting to see bags of blood which sent you tumbling back before falling onto the floor with a small screech. You quickly covered your mouth as you froze on the ground, hoping you didn't just wake the entire house up.
Great job Jake.
You closed the fridge door with your foot so you wouldn't have to be staring at the blood anymore and you could feel your appetite leave your body. You weren't usually the one to get queasy at the sight of bodily fluids, especially blood. For some reason though, seeing them so casually in bags in a fridge just settled wrong on your stomach. You wanted to note to maybe watch your back around here for more unusual substances.
"I see you found our blood supply." You heard a voice say from the stairs that led to the lower level. It was none other than Dirk and of course he was the one to catch you like this. You were slightly relieved it was him and not some random being you didn't know, however it didnt help your pride either way.
"I thought demons only drank blood when necessary?" You asked as you finally stood up, grabbing onto the kitchen island to help you stand up and keep your balance.
"Yeah, demons do. However there are more than just demons here who need blood for their day to day survival. They'll fucking starve to death without it." He said in response as he walked over towards the kitchen. He mustve been hungry too, or was just going to mock you. Either one really. Or maybe even both? You wouldn't put it past him to laugh while chewing.
"I personally take blood supplements since it keeps my shit together. Regular blood is like a mind-numbing crack to demons." He rambled on as he opened the fridge, scanning for something else behind the bags of blood. Now you really didnt have an appetite knowing you had to reach behind those things for normal food.
"I'm guessing they dont finish the job off completely though, hm?" You asked as you tried to look at something in the kitchen. You didn't want to look at Dirk because, well, it was Dirk and you didn't want to look that direction anyways with the fridge open for obvious reasons. You instead decided to focus on the patterns in the granite countertop of the island. They were in monochrome grey with specks of metallic silver here and there.
"Nah, they just keep my bloodlust in control so I dont go around eating people all carnivore style." He hummed as he pulled out some eggs and bacon. It was surprisingly normal for him you thought and it was just weird to see. Maybe you did imagine him eating people carnivore style a bit too much.
"Do you want some?" He asked as he noticed your eyes lingering a bit longer than they should have. You glanced up to him with a bit of surprise, not knowing he would offer to make you breakfast. It was probably only because if you didn't eat you would faint while training.
"I don't think I have much of an appetite after looking in there." You said as you glanced towards the fridge wondering if you would ever trust fridges again. So long good memories.
"So you did have an appetite before, which is enough of an answer for me." He said as he grabbed a pan and turned on an eye on the stove. You blinked to process what he said. Maybe he did care a bit? Just a tad? Was that possible? Well old Dirk would obviously, but this Dirk? You didn't think it was possible.
"Aw, you do care." You heard Hal say from your pocket which caused your eyes to go wide as Dirk snapped his head back to look at you. Oh god you really hope he didnt think you said that- even though you were thinking that.
"I forgot I put that fucker in your phone." He sighed as he turned back around to the stove as he sprayed the pan down with some non-stick spray.
"You know its dangerous to forget where you put cameras, Dirk. Never know what might get leaked. You don't want to be canceled, now do you?" You awkwardly set your phone down onto the island countertop so Hal could be heard clearer, but you didn't know if that was the right move.
"Yeah, like I have such a big online following." Dirk shrugged as he turned to face you and Hal, well kind of Hal. You really didnt have much input so you just listened as you tried to figure out if there was anything you could do with yourself besides just stand there.
Then nature hit you.
You did wake up a bit ago, it was a pretty basic necessity.
"Excuse me for a moment." You interjected as you slipped away to the bathroom on this floor. You could still hear the two bickering over nothing from the bathroom and clearly Dirk was the one getting more irritated, but not enough to get pissed off or anything.
They seemed to have great chemistry.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you stepped back into the kitchen, you froze in your tracks as a gasp escaped from your lips. A robotic Dirk was now standing at the countertop babbling on to the real Dirk. Did you miss something? You were only gone in the bathroom for not even five minutes. Was the lack of sleep finally getting to you?
"I forgot to ask how you liked your eggs so I hope you enjoy sunny side up. You just striked me as a sunny side up kind of dude." The real Dirk said as he slid the two eggs onto what you assumed was your plate along with a slice of toast and three slices of bacon. The smell was making your mouth water and your stomach angrily growled, however that could wait for now.
You walked up to the robotic Dirk and peered past its shoulder to look up at its face. It had red shades instead of black and had a white face with black accents on its face. It had white hair too hair, although it was metal, it was shaped like hair. It had an entire black body though, only little accents of red lights broke that exception. It even looked down to meet your own stare with it's own red eyes as it even grinned a bit.
"Something caught your eye?" It spoke, but you knew that voice. It wasn't just a random bot.
"Hal? Is that you?" You asked with a shocked- yet amused- tone as you poked his arm to see that he was actually there and not just imagined by you.
"In the flesh and blood, well I guess not literal flesh and blood, but you get the point." He hummed and in all honesty, you were mesmerised. Hal was even as tall as Dirk, which kind of sucked on your end having even having a robot taller than you. You would have to be a fool to ignore how cool it was though.
"It's still a prototype body that I let him wear around the house only. I have one more robot, but it's meant for combat. I don't know if I'm ready for this one to be a super computer with the capability to destroy without being destroyed. It'll seem like Im fucking begging on my hands and knees for robots to overthrow humans." Dirk said as he slid your plate to you across the countertop before turning back around to make his eggs.
"Although he knows I would never dream of doing that, becoming the ultimate robot and maybe be the most useful tool to him he could ever ask for. Just not my cup of tea, might burn my tongue." Hal retorted back with an obvious bit of bitterness. It was notable Hal probably wanted the upgrade, but not just to help Dirk obviously. You figured Dirk might just have a point.
"It would be like giving a toddler a fucking hand granade. Sure, they don't know how to work it, but once they start chewing at it, they might just blow it up." Dirk coldly said back, seeming done with the topic as he scrambled his own eggs. You took note that instead of just scrambling both his and your eggs together, he took the time to make yours in a totally different style that took more craftsmanship. Somehow he just knew your favorite style of eggs too, but you would just keep that a lucky guess. However, it was a greatly appreciated lucky guess.
"Feferi has awakened." Hal said randomly in a much more monotone tone and he shook his head shortly after.
"God I hate how I'm still programmed to do that. I could be put to much better use than that." He groaned as Dirk simply ignored him once more. He seemed good at doing that.
You heard movement from the upstairs as a door opened before another one closed. Shortly after you heard water running.
"I thought supernatural beings slept during the day?" You asked whoever would answer first as Hal handed you a fork so you could finally begin eating, which you gladly did. Your mouth watered in a welcoming manner as you took your first bite of eggs. Maybe throwing everything in your system last night really helped your hunger.
"Well most supernatural beings actually don't need any sleep to survive, most just choose to because its easier to get away with things in the nighttime. It does help regenerate energy and heal wounds faster without needing human blood, but they won't die without it." Hal replied as he watched you eat. You honestly didn't care, he was probably just taking in data. You did nod in reply as you swallowed a bite that had bacon and eggs.
"I'm assuming more human-like beings need it though, like vampires?" You asked in curiosity before you took a bite of your toast this time.
"Wow, you're smarter than you look." Hal teased as he cracked a small smirk. You couldnt help but crack one back.
"I would be ashamed if I didn't know more about supernatural beings since its literally been my entire life." You hummed as you could feel your stomach ache slightly, but you knew it was in that good way when something finally filled your system.
"Guess you should've studied harder if you still have to ask me questions about them." Hal retorded back at you as a small snicker followed his words. It was impressive to hear a robot laugh and just act so...human-like. Unsettling in a way, but also amusing. It didn't stop you from gently shoving him by his shoulder before rolling your eyes at his remark. A small grin was still on your lips though.
"I'm going back downstairs to eat and test some things. Come with me Hal, I need you to collect the data. Come downstairs when you're ready Jake. We've got some things to discuss." Dirk said in his normal monotone voice. It made you wonder who really was the robot here.
"Alright pissbaby, I'm coming." Hal sighed before reluctantly following Dirk downstairs. He turned to wave at you before he disappeared along with Dirk down the stairs.
Suddenly the food didnt taste as good as it did a couple bites ago as you ate in silence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So, you remember the main goal and purpose of your training, correct?" Dirk asked as he walked over to the table in the training room that had multiple weapons. He, of course, went for the katana. You weren't really surprised at that choice.
"Yes, to make sure Im not so vulnerable with my chest and learn to protect it more." You reluctantly repeated back as you watched him pick up another sword from the table. It looked like a typical short sword. You were surprised when he handed you said short sword.
"Good. That also means you need to learn how to fight with other weapons besides those guns of yours. They aren't a problem, but once they get knocked out of your hand, a dagger will only provide you so much protection." He said as he placed the short sword in your hands, eyeing how you gripped it. Clearly he didn't like how you grabbed it, so he adjusted your grip. Apparently you only needed to hold it with your right hand and not both hands.
"So, what are the basics I need to learn then?" You asked which earned you a small scoff in response from Dirk. You really didn't like that response.
"The most basic thing you can do is learn to survive. You'll begin to learn techniques on your own as you fight." He said right before he went to strike at you.
You backed up in defense, but that didnt stop him from swinging at you again. It's been so long since you've seen him or been in a serious sword fight with Dirk. You forgot how scary he was when he was like this. However you could tell he wasn't really trying, you would've already lost if he was.
"Your first instinct is to dodge, but you can only dodge for so long before you're cornered." He said bluntly as he swung again, this time at your legs as you backed up again. You had no idea how to use such a foreign object to protect yourself. It was just weird holding it and now you were supposed to know how to use it. You really didn't miss Dirks relentless thought process.
"Don't worry, I'm not so cruel that I'll kill you on your first official day here. These swords are blunt." He rambled as if he was just having a casual conversation with someone and not trying to attack them. It distracted you enough that his next swing to your legs landed on you successfully. The blade might be dull, but that didn't mean it stopped you from feeling the bruise already forming as you stumbled to the right from the hit.
"You would've lost your leg or would've been greatly wounded by now if you were in a real fight." He stated in a more cold tone as he now started to pick up the pace of his swings. This time you attempted to hold the sword up in defense but clearly this was your first rodeo. As soon as you tried, you failed because Dirk knocked it out of your hand. You sighed in irritation at yourself as you attempted to go pick up the lost weapon.
But he wasn't having that.
You let out a yelp as you felt his sword hit you in the back. It caused you to stumble forwards, but luckily you didn't fall.
"Are you fucking mad?" You spat at him in irritation as you thought he was really taking this too far. He wasn't even letting you adapt just a tiny bit. You knew he would say something about that not being realistic enough, but at this rate, you wouldn't hold your own in a real fight, ever. It would help if he told you at least the bare bone basics with an object so foreign to you.
You lunged towards your sword as he swung once more and you had no idea where he was aiming this time. Luckily you dodged it again. You did manage to pick up your sword again before you turned to face him.
"You'll never win like this, I hope you know. If you want to be more useful to me, prove it." He taunted as he spun his katana around just to flaunt off how much better he was than you. You could feel your eye twitch in irritation. In this irritation though, an idea just...
Clicked.
"Don't expect an apology from me, it'll only be half assed...at best." You muttered back as he swung once more. You dodged the attack, however once he was nearly finished with the attack, you charged at him while he had an opening.
If he wanted you to fight realistically, you were going to fight how you would fight to survive, not how he wanted to. You didn't use a sword if it was shown to be more of a hindrance, so you always used your brute force as your last option when close enough.
You seemed to finally catch him off guard as you launched yourself towards him, wrapping your arms around his torso as it sent you both flying backwards. You don't know how many times you both rolled on the ground, but you guessed at least three times. You luckily landed on top as you used your upper hand to stomp your foot on top of his katana before using that foot to launch it away from the both of you. You used that same foot again to stomp on his wrist before he could move it to attack you.
You knew the shock factor could really only get you so much due to his obvious advantages, but you made sure to milk out every single thing you could get from it. Sure, you were weaker than him currently, but that didnt mean you couldn't punch.
You landed a punch squarely into his cheek and that was satisfying enough for you. It was payback for the other hits and for being such a shitty teacher.
You waited for his retaliation, but instead you saw him grinning and even a few spurts of laughter came from him. It was unsettling and you slowly sat back, not sure if you should run while you could or wait to see what he did.
"You just keep surprising me." He said but it had a hint of malicious intent in it.
You were right about that because he quickly took advantage of the shock factor he just gave you. He punched you squarely under the chin, knocking you back and you hissed as your head hit the floor with a hollow thump.
Now he took the chance to straddle you before he used one first to grasp at your shirt and yank you towards his other first. This time it collided into your nose and you could hear something cracking as numbing pain was sent through your nose.
You weren't just going to give up though because he clearly wasn't. So, you began swinging at him too. Some were punches, slaps, and even a few scratches. You weren't sure where they were landing or how many were landing, but the adrenaline rush felt amazing.
Dirk was also landing some punches on you and that seemed to be his main hit of choice. You weren't sure who was beating who, but you could feel blood on your face and hands. It's been a while since youve had such a good brawl. A grin was even coming onto your face and you were sure Dirk had one too, but you couldnt really tell even if you wanted to. Your glasses were long gone and maybe even shattered at this point. You couldn't really be bothered by that though.
Time kept ticking as you two mercilessly beat each other into a pulp and you could feel yourself slowly losing conscious. One downside of being a human in this, you lost energy a lot faster. With bittersweet luck, someone interjected as they bursted into the room.
"Stop! Stop!" The femine voice shouted as you could hear footsteps approaching in a hastened pace. You figured the person was Feferi given by the blob of long blackness behind them. She did have some long curly hair afterall.
"I thought you two were training, not killing each other!" She scolded as you could feel her place both of her hands on your face, cupping it gently. She was probably healing you right now and maybe you should feel guilty for fighting.
In all honesty though, it was the best stress relief youve had in ages.
Even a dumb grin was still placed on your face.
"He started the fist fighting, I was just trying to teach him how to use a sword." Dirk huffed as you thought you saw him crossing his arms sitting across from you.
"Not my fault you wanted a realistic fight when I've never picked up a damned sword in my entire fucking life." You retorted back with confidence as Feferi's hands moved to your nose and you could feel the most relief there as she healed you. Maybe it was broken.
"Touché. I will admit I was surprised at your ambition to win the fight. I see why Bro and D had such a difficult time last night with you if you're not afraid to go the extra mile and then run an entire fucking marathon." He simply stated which did cause a small satisfied smile to creep onto your lips.
"As touching as this all is, I think you broke his glasses, Dirk. You know he kinda does need those, right?" Feferi sighed as she motioned her head towards the right where you figured your shattered glasses were. Maybe you did go a tad bit overboard.
"Glasses are a hindrance to his performance if he has to worry about them every single fight. I'll order some contacts and then modify them." Dirk hummed as you worried about that statement. You never really liked contacts because you did have sensitive eyes, however, he did have a point. Plus, maybe you would be less recognizable with no glasses.
That would be a big help if you run into someone you know out there during a mission.
"What do you mean by modify?" You asked as you raised an eyebrow up in question.
"You'll find out." Dirk said before abruptly leaving the room, probably getting to work on some other things. His last words to you were rather unsettling though.
"Wait! I still need to heal you too!" Feferi shouted before running after him, leaving you all alone in the room.
You tried to look around the now empty room as you sighed in realization you were practically blind in an unfamiliar place. You squinted to attempt to get a better picture, but it really didnt do anything. You flopped onto your back, wincing slightly as you forgot about the bruise forming back there.
"Hal, I hate to ask you this, but could you help? I can't see a foot in front of me and I dont want to fall to my death over those railings out there." You said into the empty room, wondering if he was always listening.
Turns out he was, and always watching because he was already at the door as he walked in. You could tell it was him due to his footsteps sounding way more metallic than anyone elses.
"Sucks being a blind bitch, huh?" He teased as he crouched down to help you up.
"My one true kryptonite." You snickered as you looped your arm over his shoulder, walking beside him.
It was nice to have someone like him around, even if he was just a robot.

((Hey you guys! I just wanted to say I'm so sorry it took so long to finally make this chapter. I've literally been trying to type it out for a year and it just never felt right?? I don't know if that makes sense, but for some reason I severely struggled with this chapter. If I'm being honest, it still doesn't feel right, but I decided it wasn't fair to make anyone wait any longer than they already have!
I do, however, know what I want to do from here on out! I'm going to try updating once a week now that I finally found the spark again for it!
To all of those who have stuck with me for this long and have been very loyal to me, I really appreciate your kindness and patience, it means the world to me. If it wasn't for all the super sweet comments of encouragement and reassurance, I wouldn't even finish this chapter if I'm being honest :')
So thank you! I'm going to try to finally get this story finished for all of y'all and to finally put this idea to rest
Love you all!
Love, Ruth))
