THE BROKEN HEART

It's so dark here, I can't see anything. The air around me was thick with an oppressive weight, suffocating and unyielding.
Shadows danced menacingly in the corners of my mind, twisting and contorting into grotesque shapes that seemed to mock my very existence.
Each breath felt like I was swallowing shards of glass, cutting into my lungs with every inhale. I found myself trapped in a labyrinth of darkness, the walls closing in around me with each step I took.
My heart hammered against my ribcage like a caged animal, desperate for escape. But my limbs refused to obey, as if they were shackled by invisible chains, rendering me powerless and vulnerable.
Whispers echoed in the abyss, taunting me with their cryptic messages. They spoke of fears long buried, nightmares that lurked in the deepest recesses of my mind.
Their voices slithered through the darkness like serpents, coiling around my thoughts and injecting venomous doubt into my veins.
A cold sweat coated my skin, turning my flesh clammy and slick. It was as if I was drowning in my own fear, the weight of it pressing down on me like a leaden blanket.
Every nerve in my body screamed for release, for a reprieve from the relentless onslaught of terror.
And then I heard it, a voice calling out to me from the depths of the abyss. It was familiar yet distorted, warped by the darkness that surrounded me.
My name echoed through the emptiness, each syllable dripping with malice and intent.
"Y/n!"
I tried to scream, to cry out for help, but my voice caught in my throat like a fish struggling against the hook. Tears welled in my eyes, blurring the twisted landscape before me. I was lost, adrift in a sea of nightmares with no shore in sight.
The walls continued to close in, squeezing the breath from my lungs with each passing moment. Desperation clawed at my chest, a primal instinct urging me to fight against the encroaching darkness.
But it was futile, for I was already ensnared in the web of my own subconscious, trapped in a nightmare from which there seemed to be no escape.
Again I heard that chilling voice,
"Y/n!!! Get up!"
I tried to follow the voice but had no idea where it was coming from. My head began to throb as I felt someone tugging and pulling at my skin, as if they trying to skin me.
And I let out a blood curdling scream. When I opened my eyes I found myself in my classroom. With my friends, Yuji, Nobara, Shoko, Gojo and Geto looking at me. While Nanami is relentlessly shaking my sweaty self.
I sat neatly on the bench while Nanami grabbed a bottle of water. Leaning low at my eye level he gave the bottle to me to drink from, and I obliged.
How long has it been? Since all of them have became like my bodyguards? A year? Since his death? Why am I thinking about it now? It's been a year since he...
Since I lost him, my lover, my life, my boyfriend, Ryomen Sukuna. I feel a lone tear escape my left eye. Nanami spotted me crying and immediately pulled out his kerchief to wipe my eyes.
Gojo too joined him and patted my head, while Nobara held my hand. And now because of all this I again began crying a river. Yuji came closer and hugged me tightly in his well built frame.
I kept sobbing until what felt like eternity. When I stopped my little crying session, Yuji let me go and asked a question that only he can ask?
"Are you hungry Y/n?"
I smiled at his innocence and chuckled when Geto smacked him across his head. Yuji glared at Geto as he spoke to me,
"Y/n, do you want to go home? I can drop you. Or maybe we all can go to the new fair that started at the Bayside, what do you think guys?"
I saw all of them share a look before Nanami spoke,
"Y/n are you sure you want to go? We can do something else if you want,"
I shook my head and finally spoke to all of them,
"It's okay Kento, I'll be fine. We can go to the fair, I really want to eat a lots of corndogs with Gojo and Yuji! And go on the giant wheel with you and Geto, and on the merry-go-round with Nobara and Shoko. Come on let's go home first so that I can change into something good! Don't want to wear this feeling sad clothes, you know..."
I said the last part pointing at my current outfit, Sukuna's crew nech shirt and his old sweatpants. Nobara sighed at my words and replied,
"You know what, Y/n come to my place. I'll dress you up in a pretty dress!"
As Nobara said this Gojo nodded his head and replied,
"Yeah, like she did to me one time! I still have those photos of me in her skirt all over the internet!"
And with that I saw Gojo falling on the ground with a loud thud and Nobara ready to stomp his head with her platform heels. Geto held her aside, letting Gojo run away from her rage and sit behind me.
Nobara calmed down after a while and then took my hand in her and dashed out of the school. As she lives nearly five minutes away from the school. We reached her house in record time and went up to her room.
Nobara spent no time flailing around and straight up began to pull out dresses from her closet and throw them on my head. She finally settled on a little dress,
I sighed and wore the tight dress on my already curvy self and stepped out of the bathroom. Nobara helped me with my makeup and hair and soon it was time for all of us to go to the fair.
At the fair;
We met Gojo and Yuji and the entrance of the fair, as Gojo saw me he came running towards me and held my shoulders and spoke,
"My oh my, Y/n... You look so damn..."
"Don't you dare complete that sentence Satoru..."
Yuji warned Gojo from behind and that surely did shut Gojo's mouth. I saw Nanami and Geto come closer to us. All of the guys dressed in their finest sweats and shirts. We all went in together and the first stop was at the corndogs shop.
Me and Yuji excitedly ran towards it and took two corndogs each for ourselves while the rest opened for one each. After munching on the steaming corndogs we went in more to explore the fair.
As we were looking around, my eyes darted towards a specific board. A shaman's tent, should I go in? I thought and then turned to all my friends and spoke,
"Guys, I am going to the shaman's tent for a while. You can go ahead I'll join you at the merry-go-round..."
And was about to leave when Geto stepped forward and spoke,
"You are not going there alone. I'm coming with you! You all go ahead me and Y/n will join you later. Let's go, Y/n!"
And we were off to the tent. I stepped inside the dingy tent and looked around to spot a old lady behind a glowing ball. She saw me and smiled widely, waving her hand to call me closer.
I went near and sat down in front of her as she began to speak,
"You seem distressed dear... Let's see what's in your hazy mind. My god, that is so awful. You should have not gone through that dear! But I can assure you that the boy is in a better place now. He's in a good place, but... He's waiting for you, for you to find him. And you know what dear?"
I looked at her rambling self and got confused and asked,
"What?"
She gave me a small smile,
"He's going to meet you... soon!"
"What! What do you mean by that?"
She again smiled through her wrinkly eyes and spoke,
"He's here dear, his heart his looking for you, his WILD GREEN EYES searching through the fair for you. His head jumbled by your thoughts, he coming for you dear... And he will find you... on the giant wheel. Just don't run away when you see him, that might break his heart... Again,"
And then all I saw was thick smoke covering the lady and Geto dragging me out of her tent. My mind became all hazed up as the night passed. And soon it was time for us to go on the giant wheel.
The giant wheel... That's where she told me that I will see Sukuna again. Will I? Or was just she playing con with me? I sighed as it was now our turn to get in the big pod.
The pod sure was bigh enough to hold eight people. And it sure did. All six of entered in the pod and settled down. I was on the end of the seating area.
Where I'm sure two more people will join. And they did. I saw two men walk in the pod. One of them had blonde hair with the ends all black and the other having rich black hair, which rested on his eyes. His WILD GREEN EYES...
And as soon as his eyes met mine, I felt my heart skip a beat. The same way it used to do whenever I saw Sukuna.
Sukuna... Is he Sukuna?
