I went back to the church for bed, I was awoken to the sound of a familiar voice.

"Egg...Egg...wake up."

I opened my eyes to a face I thought I'd never see again.

"Mercutio!"

I sat up and he hugged me laughing.

"Is this a dream?" I sobbed.

"Yes it is."

"Then I wish it would never end, I miss you so much Mercutio."

"I miss you too Egg."

I hugged him again.

"What's it like up there?"

Mercutio got up and paced as he explained. 

"I met God, I have met God! He said to me 'Mercutio, everything is fine now, you live an eternity of peace in heaven!' After a while, Tybalt showed in heaven too and God shared the same speech with him."

"Tybalt?"

"Yes?" Asked a familiar deep voice.

Me and Mercutio looked to the doorway of the room, there stood Tybalt leaning with his arms crossed smiling. I got out of bed.

"Tybalt!"

He walked to us.

"Eglantine, how are you?"

I froze. Was Tybalt being good for a change?

"Tybalt, I expected you to bring me down about my sword."

"Not this time Egg."

"Egg, thou called me Egg, tis unusual for you Tybalt."

"I know, I would like to apologize for everything that happened, I didn't blame Mercutio for dueling me. Thine sincerest apologies. I woke up at the pearly gates and God forgave us for our sins, God sent us back down for one last meeting with the ones we love and care for, we chose you."

I started crying again.

"Tybalt, your uncle said you loved me. Tis true?"

"Yes tis, I loved you...I wanted thou for beauty and bravery. After we dueled, I loved you even more."

"We could've been friends but that didn't happen. I will be with Montague, Benvolio and I will be married soon."

Tybalt had a sad look on his face.

"I know, I saw from up there."

"You held love for me secret, I'm surprised at thou. Til death the secret was no more. I forgive you Tybalt...but I don't love you. Benvolio is and will always be."

He bowed his head.

"Time is nigh Tybalt," Mercutio said.

I gave Tybalt a big hug, as soon as I let go, I gave him a peck on the cheek. I saw a tear fall from Tybalt's eye.

"Adieu til we meet in heaven."

"Adieu fair swordsmaiden."

I hugged Mercutio as well.

"Adieu Mercutio, we'll meet in heaven."

"Adieu Egg."

I pecked him on the cheek.

"Go back to sleep."

I got into bed.

"Close your eyes," Tybalt said in tears.

"Time to go to sleep, time to go forth and rejoice!" Mercutio sobbed.

As they left the room, I closed my eyes with tears rolling down my cheeks.
